    very good review.
    I use it with my Fanatec. I flipped the wheel plate and used cable ties for the pedals. Because it's a deck chair it really moulds to your shape so is super comfortable. 9.5 out of 10.

  • @DropDMurphy
    @DropDMurphy Рік тому +8

    I just recently purchased and received one of these. I have to say this is wonderful for someone with a small living space because the ability for it to fold up while the pedals and wheel remains attached, is amazing. One thing I will say is that if you have a wider frame (hips) you may find it a bit uncomfortable at first but you will eventually mold into it.

      A Tribe Called Cars The upside of no FIA rules limiting drive time in endurance racing, LOL
      Funny story... was doing an endurance online one time, had to pee like a racehorse, came in to the pits in PC2 and went to the loo while the car fueled and changed tires. Took a little longer than usual to get my business done, came back and found that the game had disqualified me for being too long in the pits! 🙄😂 5 hours down the toilet, LOL
      So, pro tip... that Alcantara will retain smells if you pee in your race suit! Give the pre-race coffee a miss on endurance racing 🤪

Much more solid and much more comfortable than most people would think on first viewing. Don't know if you care after 6 months, but the pedals are held in place by being held down by the strap to some foam which gives more than enough friction for it to ever move back. Also there is a stopper in the front which keeps it from going forwards when braking. I for one can't press the pedals hard enough to move them even an inch.

Quite Flimsy, the pedals also need a velcro strap to hold them in place. I also had to buy/make two additional velcro and canvas straps to hold the bottom legs to stop them splitting appart. I'm currently looking at alternatives... nice idea and does fold quite well but it does wobble a bit and never feels as if you can throw your wheel around. @@rover1374 Ahhh yeah so those are partly for height and for the angle you sit at. Ideally you want your arms at around 90 degrees when holding the wheel for better posture, especially if you play a lot. The extending poles on the pedals are more for height adjustment as you can bring the pedals closer or further.

    I do not care about a seat thingy. Despite being a massive car nerd. Heck, I barely bother using a wheel, Xbox controller is fine for me.
    Still watched the whole video though.
    Not sure I’d ever bother with that sort of outlay in both money, and time.
    But hey, another good video 👍🏻

      Thanks Stuart. I was the controller type until recently so totally get it. It's an extra layer of hassle sometimes, but I also find the whole driving in real life versus games interesting so here we are. A review of a seat. My mum and dad must be proud.

    So I could fit a handbrake and shifter?

    • @ATribeCalledCars
      @ATribeCalledCars  4 роки тому +1

      Yes as long as you have them on different sides, gets a bit cosy otherwise. Plus you'll need two mounting systems. I'm tempted to add a proper shifter myself and use the TSS handbrake for the handbrake, not sequential shifts.

    • @ATribeCalledCars
