Thank you for being one of the few reviewers with a none biased and positive outlook on these CPU's. I think some of the results I have been seeing from many channels are very odd considering this and the 285k have some of the highest single and multi core scores in the game right now according to cinebench. It just does not make sense the gaming is not great, so games really prioritize cache that much over raw multicore? It makes me truly believe there is some driver/optimization wonkiness' going on. I hope we get an Intel bios update that improves performance like AMD did with Ryzen 9.
7th November this year the new Ryzen 9 9800X3D is supposed to be released. Have to wait and see what price is, also how much better it is to the 7800X3D
Just 2 days ago got the ultra 7 265K for $229.99. From microcenter combined with new motherboard board, they still have this deal going.... I think in my case it's worked a lot better than the i7 14700 because i7 gets really hot, just rendering basic videos.
The 7800X3D is slightly better at single core uses than Core Ultra 7 265K, but the Ultra 7 is much better at multicore uses… it’s a shame that Intel has instability issues tho, because the Ryzen 7 is more expensive for just slightly more gaming frame rates. Otherwise, the new Intel chips aren’t that bad, but need improvements in performance and reliability

Thanks for the video, there is a point that almost no one is discussing about it, what about engineering software and calculations like finite element, which one do you suggest? Well i have always used Intel CPUs but now with the issues not so smart to go there. Would appreciate your answer man.
Right now, hard to say. In that it is comparable to the 14900k, and I don't have data on its math benchmarks, the answer may be to hold out for some performance data from Auto desk. Additionally, is Auto desk going to look at Ai to bolster Finite Element. If yes, then CU9 would be a better choice.

At that price point the 265k is a nobrainer, even if 10% behind in 4k gaming FPS.
