I, for one, dont mind if something is a 'knockoff' as long as it has sweet ufo/alien graphics on it. In the market for a system with money to burn, and they all perform about the same, so why not go with the one that looks the coolest
You fill the main header pot with water then add nutrients and the ph down until it’s at required reading, the tank is just a top up tank that will keep the system topped up. I have been told to just fill this with ph water and then do a complete res change every 7-12 days
We have no reason to copy another company's product, we see this as unethical and as it happens to all the time too, we live by the promise to be authentic. New system out in July. TEAM ALIEN 👽
Yea but the new system has 1 inch pipe or lines this 4 inch would be much better I would assume with roots and such 4 inch is harder to clog. Why switch to smaller lines?
Why do you use massive 4 inch pipes to connect the buckets when you only use a 5 times smaller retour line for the pump........that has no sense when the flow is determined by the capacity of the pump that has the small line. So only slower flow in the big 4 inch pipes.............why the bigger pipes?
the larger pipes are to account for the root systems. In systems with smaller pipes, roots can clog the outlet of each bucket rendering the circulating function of the system inert.
I think the 4 inch pipes add more water volume to the system. That’s what I think some of that is the thought process was instead of flow of the water directly. RDWC Systems have given some people issues with pH fluctuation. And if you’ve ever done anything in the aquarium hobby you know the lower volume of water the harder it is to control the pH. The length and the amount of pipe looks like it’s the same volume of maybe 3 1/2 to 4 gallons of water added to the system. Well it would probably be that much added water volume on a two plant or four plant system roughly. The smaller return line may help with making each separate unit active one unit to help control the pH with proper mixing of the water from each container due to the slower return line possibly. Or they did it to make the system look better and different and similar systems out there. With no added benefits to the system

3000 euro for couple of buckets and pipes. you must be mad to spend that much on something you could make yourself that would cost less than 500.
