    This is one of the best videos I've seen on RDWC.
    Hit the nail on the head with respect to how important the water temp, airration, ph and ppm. PPM and ph for people that have small res tanks is horrible thats another big factor. Great video. Oh and dehumidifying also a big one. Excellent video. Definitely professional.

    This has to be the best compilation of tips for dwc I've ever seen. DWC seems a little daunting but this looks pretty simplified to get you started. Sub very well deserved.

    One quick thing that I see so many people do. If you move your water chiller out of the room your ac does not have to work as hard. You are just removing the heat from your water and recirculating it back into your water and room .

      This is a grow room, not a tent.... there's no way that I'm going to drill holes in my wall to run a chiller outside the room when I have a propane burner making heat in the room... my minisplit is oversized for alot of reasons

    This is a good system except the res in right in the middle where when your plants get big you can't really get to it. Also no water change could lead to high levels of salts. PPM is total particles, EC is the conductivity and you need both to determine what your talking about. PPM can drop and EC spike. Your setup and key points otherwise I found right on.

    A lot of good info!! I'm on my first RDWC run, wk 2 day 3 of flower plants are looking real good. I've been doing water changes every week we'll it kinda seems like a waste of water and nutrients I'm glad I ran across your video on resivor water, if the PH is stable I should be able to just mix up the top off res I have sitting next to the main resivor to the same PH an add it.watching your video is going to save me a lot of money in nutrients and water thanks for the Awesome help 👊

    great video! So, if you do not change your water, how do you balance the nutes in your water? For example, If plants are drinking more N than P or K and you keep feeding the same mixture every week, aren't your NPK levels going to be out of whack?

    Hey bro, love the videos. Thanks for posting the free education. I'm just getting into growing and I'm planning my first hydro system. I really think I'm going with RDWC and a robust set up like you and a few other channels build. Question, do you use all food grade buckets? Is there a concern for BPAs or anything leeching into the plant, and if so, do we consume it if we smoke it?

    • @thewell-roundednovice8852
      @thewell-roundednovice8852  Рік тому +1

      I do use food grade,but the concern is only with cleanliness and longevity really... non food grade is just more porous, so it gives bad bacteria and things like that a better place to hide and makes it harder to sterilize.... best of luck on your grow!

    • @thewell-roundednovice8852
      @thewell-roundednovice8852  9 місяців тому +1

      I'm guessing stones are better since they make smaller bubbles which make the water higher in dissolved oxygen

    • @aaronproctor4745
      @aaronproctor4745 9 місяців тому +1

      @@thewell-roundednovice8852that’s what I was thinking. What had me thinking about the bubble snake is because it’s pvc, round and lasts forever. It’ll also put the bubbles out around the walls of the bucket, thought that may be a benefit due to the roots settling in the middle. But if if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Appreciate the content.

    Greetings from Germany :-) Your system is really mega cool. I am now trying to rebuild it. How important is the pot size for DWC? I would like to have plants about 2 meters tall. What would be the minimum pot size for that? Is this just as important as for soil? Do you use a separate tank or is the whole system the tank?

    • @thewell-roundednovice8852
      @thewell-roundednovice8852  Місяць тому +1

      Pot size isn't like soil, but you need a bigger volume for bigger plants... your main concern with bigger plants is avoiding roots clogging the pipes and causing floods... I did some videos in my 'builds' playlist on how I constructed this system...

    • @SuperArgman
      @SuperArgman Місяць тому +1

      @@thewell-roundednovice8852 I've already seen the video where you put it together. The problem is that I'm not allowed to have so many plants. Here in Germany, only 3 plants per person have been legal since April this year, so I need a few large plants rather than several small ones. I want to fill a 3 x 6 meter greenhouse later and I wanted to do that with 6 plants. How big would you choose the plant containers?

    • @thewell-roundednovice8852
      @thewell-roundednovice8852  Місяць тому

      @SuperArgman there's no downdlside to having bigger containers.. I would use the size containers that I have(20 gallon)...

    • @SuperArgman
      @SuperArgman Місяць тому +1

      @@thewell-roundednovice8852 I think that's what I'm going to do. Is there a reason why you are using PVC pipes instead of PE pipes? I was thinking of using PE pipes with screw connections so that I can dismantle the setup in the fall.
