In fact this time, I'm at the Entertainment Area in Manila and this the Las Vegas of the Philippines. With the Casinos, Resorts and of course the buffets. I would dare say many of these places surpass its Vegas counterparts.
Take for example today's excursion to what I think it the Best Lobster Seafood Champagne Brunch Buffet in Manila. This is at the Finestra restaurant in the @solaireresort and they offer a Sunday Brunch consisting of luxurious Italian cuisine plated and made to order. From the Seafood towers of oysters, lobsters, crab, and other shellfish; served chilled and/or grilled, to the wagyu steaks, ribeye, fillet, and the pastas, pizzas, and the fresh catch from the ocean, it was quite an extravagant event.
Not only is this an endless feast of food, it is also an endless feast of drinks and cocktails. With the other guests being over an hour late, normally that would be an issue, but not here. Salvan, was nice enough to server champagne and create expertly crafted cocktails (as mild or as boozy as you like) while we waited. This is one of the few times I enjoyed the wait.

Tim great vlog as usual and hopefully one day I’ll be there. For me the only thing that spoiled it was Sam not only being over an hour late to meet you, but then he evidently sat at the table, on two mobile phones, in a total world of his own. Maybe ask Sam why he didn’t just stay at home if he can’t be respectful to his fellow diners, and in what looked rather a quite a smart restaurant. There is an old saying. Manners maketh the Man.
I hope you get a chance to visit. It is quite a nice experience. It was just a casual brunch and no worries 😀

This was one of the more higher-end / pricey buffets. Everything was included. All the food and they were unlimited. There were many other dishes that we didn't get a chance to order. Also the champagne cocktails and spirits were all inclusive as well and unlimited. I think this made the pricing a bit higher, but it was very enjoyable

I'm not a fan of this buffet because I don't like that they serve you normal portions of each dish. I'm more the type to get a bite of everything and that's hard to do here unless you go in a group. Bravo to you, Tim, for handling those people's lateness (over an hour!!) with grace. You mentioned you were hungry outside, so it couldn't have been easy to wait!

This was a pricey brunch at $100. Most of the cost was probably due to the endless champagne. Cocktails and spirits, and the food was great as well.
How do you not weigh 400Lbs with all you eat?

It all looks lovely, but my concern is about overfishing, which disturbs the delicate ecosystem in the ocean and leaves too little for larger fish and mammals to survive on. We are not alone in this world and need to care for our fellow creatures who inhabit this planet. I'd rather there were more delicious vegetarian dishes and not so many living creatures that we think we have the right to eat. Moderation in all things, except of course for desserts!

Oh, the server Carla was fantastic putting up with us... And there's also a bit to put up with when filming as well so really appreciate her. This was quite a relaxing and comfortable buffet for sure
Totally agreed. The buffets in LV are overpriced and overrated. The so-called best buffet, Bacchanal, don't even have lobster. And the waiters only cleaned the table and bring drink and asked for 18% tip

The quality of this Buffet was just amazing. I think I would get those Seafood Towers and all the different steaks... over and over and skip dessert... even though they looked great as well 😋
The lobsters were nice and fresh and they did cook the steaks properly… very good experience and just like Vegas 😀
Tim invited his buddy Sam, who showed up over an hour late, and brings his wife AND mother in law (that goes by "auntie") then sticks Tim with the entire bill... even the tip.

He lobster roll and the pizza look fantastic Tim 😍 love the desserts, the beignets, chocolate mousse and liquid nitrogen afogatto was so cool.
As simple as it was, the pizza was delicious. Lobster rolls weren’t bad either.😋

This was a rather pricey meal at 5555php or $100. It’s mainly the unlimited champagne cocktails at spirits that drive up the cost. The food was great also with the lobster, steaks and Italian classics 😋

Actually when you saw Sam eat, when he actually managed to put the phone(s) down, he couldn’t even be bothered to close his mouth when he was chewing his food. I’ve got a cat with better manners.
@@davidp1170 lol, i didnt even notice that but i went back and looked, lol,, ok, that gave me a giggle. he was very busy on those phones. yup, if he was ever to come to Norther Va, i would be hugely honored to have a meal with him, maybe even a collab, like i did with “food and travel with danny the medic”. (nice guy) and i would be all ears, not on the phone, but maybe that guy has a company he has to attend to, not sure, but its they way it is now days. i see parents always ignoring their little ones, in a restaurant.. poor kids telling them about their day and mom or dad has no clue they are even sitting at the table.
No worries at all, it was a casual brunch and getting used to Filipino time as they say😉

It was a messy pizza. There really wasn't a buffet other than the dessert station. Many dishes are made to order and you can order as many of them as you want.

Great seeing your new luxury video adventures. Make everyone jealous to you. When are you coming to Taiwan for famous oyster and crab dishes? If you fly direct from America you don't stop in China or Hong Kong it safe for you. No afraid. No necessary speak Mandarin in Taiwan if you cannot to.
