    This is the most legit Filipino street food vlog I’ve seen. It’s not in a food bazaar or a mall. You really went outside and tried what common Filipinos would buy in that area in terms of street food. As a Pinoy who loves street food, I really connected with Sonny on this one.

    • @yshrivera
      @yshrivera Рік тому +12

      I agree. What I noticed from foreign food vloggers trying streetfood here is they find a bazaar or nightmarket and although I also like the food there, it can get crazy expensive compared to common Filipino streetfood. A stick of fishball can cost 60 pesos compared to the 2 for 1 peso you can get from an actual streetside vendor.

Love experiencing the different stalls, following the smells, and also how cheap it can be! You really do get the most out of your dollar, cheapest meal I've spent was $0.25 in Thailand for pad thai. Lots of fusion restraunts, and lots of local places(my favourite) visit Mamas BBQ, Altrove Tratorria, Bollocks Bar and of course Dapa Town boulevard BBQ. Brngy Catangnan in the surf town and surfing capital of the Phillies, General Luna. has plenty of street bbq, which have the best sauce ive tasted, ever. please try visit there! Not really for the kikiam, fishballs, squid balls etc the flavour will always come from the sauce with a hint of subtle differing flavour from them, the main thing the kikiam, fishballs etc provides is the texture.
      The kwek kwek is different though.
      Not talking about the ones with the vinegar though.
