The '58 is probably the most underrated and underappreciated of the Impala body styles. When the '58 Impala is restored to this level, it reveals just how unique and special this body design really is. The lines on this car are simply elegant. Extraordinary body work! If there was a "Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance" for low-riders, this car would be best in show.
I watched this 3 times and enjoyed it 3 times. Aside from great work on a great car, you did something rare and noteworthy... You didn't add stupid music to it, you did not add bragging selfies where you stand in front blocking the car because it was more important to show you than the beautiful work you did. I wish others could learn by your example on how to make one of these videos - THUMBS UP
All great points! I watched a "deck build" video the other day. The video was 30 minutes, at least 20 of those minutes he had the camera pointed at him and not the deck. His arrogant, cocky narration was proof positive what narcist this man is. Ridiculous.
I'm a 58 Chevy nut, I've owned 7 of them. I don't care what anyone says, it's the most beautiful Chevy ever built, and I love the color the owner picked for it. Your work is absolutely amazing 👏.
You are an absolute body working and reproduction genius you are the "Yoda" of body workers hands down and your attention to detail is fantastic "wow "what a great job .
It seems like only yesterday that I saw my first one of these - black with a continental kit. It took my breath away, and would today. I think it's the most beautiful Chevy ever designed.
I saw the front end on a craigslist ad for a 58 Bel Air and a parts car to go with it and i thought it was so cool looking i bought it. Frame off restored it in my garage over 18 months. I love the lines on the 58 Chevy!
Great job with the body work!!! The paint job is also beautiful! You have created a masterpiece! Why did they only make this model for one year??? It's the best looking Impala that Chevy made!!
Best chevy ever. A friends dad had one with a chopped top. He also had a 50s Mercury too but dont remember the year. He chopped the top on all his old lead sleds.
it does not matter about the bondo, the final block makes the projrct. point is the base is the foundation to build the project. i have use alternative methods of this for years. yes i am mad i did not patten. lol but these are on order. no more tape to peal. recommended by a national car restorer...
One question: How do you get the restoration's parts nowadays,I guess it's a bit difficult find it. Amazing and nice work.Sorry mi writing mistake language .It isn't muy native tongue
Looks like you hammers the hell out of it with spray polly aka more bondo I don't see how you needed to use that much mud I own a 58 delray and had to do a tone of rust remove and replace especially on the lower qt's and I didn't have to use hafe that much mud !!!! That car looked like all it needed was scuff and shoot to do a color change...It dose look super straight but it seems like you did a lot of extra work for I don't know what... Anywho it's a bad ass car and your teem dose do nice work👍👍👍
The main color is House of Kolor apple red Kandy basecoat (kbc11) over a black base. With a lot of clear coat. I actually forget what type of tires are on it. Vicious Custom Auto paint in Fairview Oregon, was the shop that built it.
hi my name is john l got a 58 chrvy just like the car is pink you can come to see it some time if you want l live in illinois it was made long before me and you where even born it came with skirts and a comtentel kit
This car doesn't have the body lines for Brandywine. With all the curves and chrome it needs the paint to be understated. And what's with that top? The bodywork is excellent, it's a shame they covered it up with the wrong color.
My favorite year. My dad bought a "59 Impala when I was in high school and it was an abomination compared to the '58. I wrecked the 59 and he bought a '61 Impala which was a little better. None of the Impalas ever compared to the original 1958.
Lord apophis that isn't red that would be KK01 I believe maybe kk06.. my 58 is kk01 and looks just like this, except the body work isn't this beautiful I would pay this guy his asking to block my ride and I would respray it, i paid 10k for my paint and is maybe 7, this is a 10 as are my painting skills but never learned to block.. if you're available to help me with mine please comment..
Even if you don't like Lowriders and it isn't your thing you can't respect all the work that was put into this? I respect all types of cars and lowriders are my thing but you would never see me hating on some guy for making a rat rod or gasser.
minskimia Actually it was not a hundred grand resto, it is street driven often and continues to win many car show awards. No shrinkage or paint loss or any other problems, just for your information.

Great job with the body work!!! The paint job is also beautiful! You have created a masterpiece! Why did they only make this model for one year??? It's the best looking Impala that Chevy made!!

It's a beautiful car that's for sure.
For me the continental kit just doesn't work on this car.I think it takes away the flow of this beautiful machine.
Beautiful car
how much did the whole resto cost?
What did u charge for the body work?
Fantastic!😸👍
absolument magnifique !
By the way would you mind telling me what color is that on the car. Still cant believe what you started with. What are the names of the tires
The main color is House of Kolor apple red Kandy basecoat (kbc11) over a black base. With a lot of clear coat. I actually forget what type of tires are on it. Vicious Custom Auto paint in Fairview Oregon, was the shop that built it.
İnsanın ağzının suyu akıyor. Harıka
Astonishing just Astonishing 🤜🏼💯🤛🏼
My dad had a 58 like the one in american 🇺🇲grafiti back in 1960 northern calif
Super Bellissima.
Loved the car, but hated the top and the seats,
It's a wonderful job. Well wish u tell us the price if u want to sell it.

Prelepo
beautiful car, wheels are too big for a lowrider...
All that work and the end result is a low rider. :(
Sorry but been in CA my whole life and can say I've never understood the appeal. Hell of a car just not my bag.
+Kurt Pena Looks like somebody has lost touch with his culture, Mr. Peña!
your an idiot that doesn't understand the art of building such a fine car all I got to say to you is good luck being an idiot!!
all that work and your an idiot all that work and bad ass ride!!
Even if you don't like Lowriders and it isn't your thing you can't respect all the work that was put into this? I respect all types of cars and lowriders are my thing but you would never see me hating on some guy for making a rat rod or gasser.
With a car like this, you would be afraid to drive it when you have a chance of bugs getting smashed on the chrome.
I hate the new impals
Ok thats a hundred grand resto. In one year it will look like shit from sinkage. I should have been stripped to bare metal. Cheers
minskimia Actually it was not a hundred grand resto, it is street driven often and continues to win many car show awards. No shrinkage or paint loss or any other problems, just for your information.
Why did you go with red? Everybody does red, there's hundreds of colors in nature!
That's so sad that they did that crap to beautiful classic cars like those.
