Steve: Nice to see videos of someone who seeks out stunning landscapes all over the world! With youtube clogged with 23 year olds making the Appalachian Trail appear as the most dangerous deep jungle on the planet, its a breath of fresh air. I would love to know what other trails have hit your radar!
Thanks, Jay. A few of the trails on my list include Hunlen Falls (Bella Coola), the Beaten Path (Beartooth Mountains), Arrigetch Peaks (Gates of the Arctic), backpacking in Svalbard, and Ammassalik Island loop (E. Greenland). I would also like to re-hike the Arctic Circle Trail (Greenland), Laugavegur Trail (Iceland), and Akshayuk Pass (Baffin Island) hikes with my son in a few years once he gets a little older. Funny you mention the AT. Every single backpacker that I followed on PCT, CDT, and AT hikes last year all quit partway through.
My favorite parts of your Greenland video were 5:00 that deep blue river, 7:23 that Timbisha red rock formation, the humpback whales and those super gorgeous iceberg reflections at the end. Oh, those expansive valley scenes were cool too. Thanks for sharing!
those whales must have been hanging out in Ilulissat icefjord for over a month. I was there at the end of August and they were still there :) Beautiful trip, thanks for posting!
UNREAL!! not exactly what i would expect from you but then again/ remote extreme empty.. maybe it is exactly what i should expect haha .... 18 minutes of unbelievable sights thanks so much for taking us with you
