For me the most important thing is cost- the Deepcool CH160 is underrated cos you get extremely good performance without paying the dreaded ITX tax that all the other manufacturers charge
Hi, thank you! For max compatibility that can fit on a tuf backpack that came together with their 15.6” laptop, that’s s400. If for light gaming, that will be a good range… from deskmini (x600) for apu if it is available to you, inwin chopin max (another apu) to metalfish t40.
Great video! My favourite ITX by far is the Fractal Terra, I'm itching myself to buy it lol Also, do you have plans on checking any JONSBO case? They have some amazing ones like the Z20 and the TK series
Yes, definitely looking at it. There was an interesting jonsbo aquarium style case but I’m holding myself. The last half of 2024 averaged at 17L in volume. It took space at home, so I would want
Pretty sure differences ng temp ng mga to is within margin of error, common naman sa ITX platform na limited choice of cooling solution..pag pinoy talaga na content ang SUS, ganda this, ganda that..hahaha..🤪🤷♀️
hi, I'm not sure if you are new here but if yes, maybe you can start here ua-cam.com/video/_vzu3CMAqEw/v-deo.html But if you don't want to watch that, here's a brief summary of that video in terms of temp performance: DeepCool's CPU temp on Cinebench R24 is around 2C cooler than the 2nd place on the chart, and 5C cooler than the hottest case on the chart Meshroom S' CPU temp on FFXV is around 2C cooler than the 2nd place on the chart, and 8.62C cooler than the hottest case on the chart. Fractal Mood's GPU temp is 0.32C cooler than the 2nd one on the chart, 1.23C cooler than the third one on that chart, and 5.91C cooler than the hottest case on that chart. All tests run at 26C room temp ambient and tests run for ~30 minutes. If I look at GPU temp, maybe Fractal could've tied with the 2nd one (which is NR200P V2 -- which was mentioned) and I even bothered to mention the third case on that chart which is Q58 however, it is true that Q58 has worse CPU temps (maybe worst). Q58 is the last place on the chart for CPU (gaming) temps being 8.62C hotter than Meshroom S. Anyway, I think these are significant differences and my bad for not explaining further within the video -- I think I'll do a longer recap next year with context (if I remember). I somehow assumed the ones will view this vid are not new to the channel. Pretty sure that my tests could be better (definitely leagues away from GN) but these are measurable results IMHO. If you still have doubts, feel free! I'm not here to convince you to stay. If you doubt small Filipino youtube channels, I think you don't need to click on a youtube channel with a Filipino name on it. 🙂
@manongunboxing on gaming loads sa hindi CPU bound na scenario those cases would perform within margin of error, dahil technically hindi naman piga ang CPU during playtime, also who in the right mind runs Cinebench on ITX unless competing sa HWBOT? Also hindi game ang Cinebench..lol 😂 those cases are meant to be aesthetically pleasing and "cute"..Personally I wouldn't even expect any if those cases would perform outright better temp wise due to the size restrictions/constraints.
During gaming, the test results will tell you how the case performs overall with mixed CPU and GPU workload. CPU may become hotter with GPU dumping heat to the case or vice-versa. Well-designed cases will have minimal impact to both. It is not within the margin of error but it is how the case was designed. This is the point of the test and this is what I learned with around 30 SFF cases now. I also did not mention that Cinebench is gaming. I clearly delineated Gaming and CPU Torture (Cinebench). Meshroom S for gaming and CH160 for torture. 'those cases are meant to be aesthetically pleasing and "cute"' -- it's fine if you think this way, but I always believe in proper design will yield to better performance in smaller footprint. I live in a small place. I can't have a tower PC in my small bedroom/office but I want as little compromise as possible in terms of performance, and this is one reason why I decided to dive into SFF anyway. With Cinebench not being the right mind, what do you suggest though as a benchmark mechanism to test the case? Although I implicitly got your answer -- don't test.
@@manongunboxing don't run torture test on those cases, no point in really burning them out, gaming test, yes. Not that I hate sff, just the price tag that comes with it, extra "sff tax" also like I mentioned products aimed at this form factor are either stripped off of extra nutty features you get on a regular/matx board (particularly storage) 2 nvme's at most some maxing on 3 by using the backside (risky IMHO) so your options are always pointed at "spending more" or compromising more. Again, no hate from here, just gripes.

Terra seems like a dust collector.
FormD send this man a T1!
I think when you announce the best in the category, you separate it from the rest with small video cut, which is much better than only pointing it out
Nice video, really like it. One question tho, which one for best in portability?

I currently have the acer u351 case. SFF wanna be. Preferred compact due to limited table space.
Notif squad lezgow!
