Marty- I took this lesson kind of "after the fact", as I been practicing the opening solo with you. I finally have all the phrases of the solo memorized, now its just a matter of perfecting it and getting up to speed. Thanks for all of this!- Chris
just started copying the song I was dumbfounded with weird chord forms. now I got why those strange 2 or 3 note chords are used and how they work in harmony with the bass. This helps a lot. Thanks!!!!
Thanks for this Marty I want to learn that solo it's probably one of the best blues solo ever written. I love your channel and you make the music very enjoyable . Keep up the good work
Man, 1 of my all time favs and ironically listening to it a lot before you did this lesson so thanks for all the lessons and I hope there's many more to come. God bless!
Love the concept of these videos you make, mate. I am really boosting my learning with your Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake... vids. Love it, keep it up!
Thank You so much; I never knew this song, yet you made it easy to learn...Esp. with the Snap timing on the 3rd. I will always go to your cite to learn new stuff... Thanks again..
Shot Marty, my fave Zep tune and so easy to learn. Jamming this for a week then I’m tackling your solo clip. P.s nice Matthew McConaughey impersonation, alright alright alright lol
Marty, once again another great lesson. You make it so much easier for me than I thought it would be. Thank you so much and keep up the great work. It is greatly appreciated and loved 🎸🎸🎸
Marty could you PLEASE do some lessons from the recent Jimi Hendrix album Both Sides Of The Sky? I would love to see Mannish Boy, Hear My Train A Comin or Send My Love to Linda!! ✌🏼
The solo Page plays on this song is one of the 4 or 5 greatest solos in the history of rock/blues. All Along The Watchtower, Whole Lotta Love, Stairway come to mind as well. Any other opinions? Oh, I forgot Time by Gilmour. as well as Money by Gilmour. Oh wait, Comfortably numb. Shit, I keep thinking of others.
Nice Video. What would u prefer for Garage. Dsl40c with "4 Channels"or an Orange, Blackstar amp or Evh amp. I play lots og Musicstyles but mostly Classic rock.Does 40c sounds good at low Volume?
hi Marty :) can you do some song from the live album Lou reed American poet. Just like Waiting for my man, vicious or heroin. I've never found any lesson of this great live. Please you are my only hope :)
Great!! Hey Marty. I'm gonna buy my first electric guitar (been playing accoustic for 2 years now) and my budget is 110$ .. any ideas ?? Just talking about the guitar. Not the amp
Fit4EPICness ok cool so a good first electric guitar if your budget is still around there is the squier Stratocaster. It’s a good guitar for the price man. Electric is super fun! \m/
The bits leading up to the Eb7 seem odd to me first time around, Cm/Eb x6554x, G/D x55433, Cm, Eb, D7, Dbmaj7 x46564, what you're playing doesn't sound right to me.
@@WillMorgan I see where you are coming from. What I’ve just realised, watching this again, is that he’s doing a busker’s/acoustic-guitarist-who-sings’ version, and nothing like the original. Sort of a singalong a Led Zeppelin. I would say he should dispense with the 335 and use an acoustic though, as it looks like it’s a lesson in how to play Jimmy’s parts.

This one is unique.
In just 5 minutes you get the chord progression.
Amazing lesson.
Thank you.
I’m currently watching this video while playing my Marty Schwartz signature Epiphone. What a world we live in

It was impossible for me to figure this out by ear exactly as it should be so thank you for your help!
Terrific. So soulful.
You should show the progression with the solo over it to make the timing easier for others. Great job as always Marty Mar mar marrrrrrr
Love the concept of these videos you make, mate. I am really boosting my learning with your Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake... vids.

Marty trying to tell me
You didn’t mean me no good....
Just what I needed. (Not the song) Thank you.
Thanks Marty, fun to play this one.
Marty could you PLEASE do some lessons from the recent Jimi Hendrix album Both Sides Of The Sky? I would love to see Mannish Boy, Hear My Train A Comin or Send My Love to Linda!! ✌🏼
Thanks marty
I think it goes from Fm to E flat major, then G7. E flat major is the relative major of Cm.. G7 is the subdominant of E flat major.
Another awesome Marty lesson. Thanks!!!

I like the ones on Dogs by Pink Floyd, I'm obsessed with those solos.
Marty you are a legend rock on!
Thank you so much !! I was looking for that for such a long time ! 🤘
Amazing zeppelin tune👌 cheers Marty👍
That's what I needed today 😊. So we can say it's a 24 bar - blues, right?

Excellent, mais Il y a me semble-t-il un petit problème sur le Eb7 avant la descente en D7 ?
Love you bro
Great Led Zep song. :) Never heard it for years. From Led Zeppelin III, I think.

Marty are you following me around the internet? 😁 Right on! 😎🤘
Oh man you gotta do the main solo now :)
Can you upload a tutorial for the rest of the song??
Hey Marty. I’m looking at a Heritage like yours instead of a 335. Thoughts?
hi Marty :) can you do some song from the live album Lou reed American poet. Just like Waiting for my man, vicious or heroin. I've never found any lesson of this great live. Please you are my only hope :)
nice
YAY
Question . What determines what key a group decides to record a song in ???
The drummer? 😂
Is the rhythm for the intro solo or the entire song?
cool!
Hi marty...for bass sound...which pedal did u use?
Great!! Hey Marty. I'm gonna buy my first electric guitar (been playing accoustic for 2 years now) and my budget is 110$ .. any ideas ?? Just talking about the guitar. Not the amp
Fit4EPICness have you gotten one yet
Still looking mate :-)

Thanks!!
What is the strumming pattern. Do you mute chords?
Imagine how many people learned songs off this channel?
You're the best. If you have time do a lesson on Stranger Things Have Happened and Long Road to Ruin by the Foo Fighters.
Keep it up!
marty is that a little sister guitar?
The bits leading up to the Eb7 seem odd to me first time around, Cm/Eb x6554x, G/D x55433, Cm, Eb, D7, Dbmaj7 x46564, what you're playing doesn't sound right to me.
It be nice if you would write the chords in the description.
Yay! :D
Down by the seaside on their physical graffiti album
Excellent. Now do the solo. Thank you.
The les Paul it my dream guitar can I have one of yours
No, Corey; earn it.
Anyone know what model that guitar is?
It's a Heritage H-535
Hmmm....this is missing the Eb to D bridge...
2.03 it’s Ebmaj to D7 not Eb7 to D7
But Jimmy plays the turnaround mainly with two note chords.
On solo guitar an ambitious goal is to capture the feel of both Jimmy and John Paul. M. Addresses this showing the descending bass line.

why dont ypu play it on top of the song so we can see it in real time?
First
THIS IS FUCKING WRONG
