This is not good picture quality, it came from VHS tape that had been copied from another VHS tape. So glad we are past those days. But it beats nothing.

Thanks to Randy here I am 35 years later and I will not fish a jig that hasn't been modified. Also same dude back then. Imo one of the class acts of the sport.
He was even teaching class back in the day.
I absolutely love these old videos! I can remember watching these tournaments on TV as a kid and it fuelled the fire for my love of bass fiahing! Thank you!!
@Intuitive Angling With Randy Blaukat , awesome watching these old videos again. I watched most of them as a kid. And contrary to the comment below, Randy is very much alive and fishing the Bassmaster Open on lake Hartwell today, tomorrow and Friday 😂😂

I love it when he says found the winning combination ….and you realize it was done through pure experience and skill and knowledge and not with $75,000 worth of sonar equipment on the front of the boat.. I would say half of today’s anglers ,if they had to go back and fish this tournament, would have failed miserably because they don’t have the basic skills.. and most of them probably don’t even understand fish movements and patterns regarding weather, falling or rising water etc. I see them all the time in interviews saying the fish moved and I don’t know where they went… of course you don’t.. but hey, to each his own🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😳
My man Randy Again! Love it. He always wins by thinking outside the box and going where other anglers can't or won't. It's very impressive.

Randy is on fire. Love how he is not afraid to be different. He has his own style and it obviously works. I watch his channel all the time. If get more bass this year and beat my PB it's going to be because I studied his channel and Roland Martin.

Never cared for the guy's "clownish" antics, and didn't feel compelled to preface the observation that he was a "former" tournament fisherman who was now a TV analyst NICNAMED Fish, calling FISHING. If you fish, go out today and try to hook a sense of humor.
