I love that Gina's vocals are more confident on these new album tracks. Gina really compliments John well, not only guitar wise but vocal wise.
It reminds me of Alice In Chains. I mean that as a compliment
I'm hoping we get a duet, or a song where she sings solo, not just backing vocals.
Heard Gina and John play an acoustic set earlier today with just two guitars and two voices and it sounded amazing with her voice on same level as his. This song really worked in just an acoustic setting.

I just realised I've been listening to Baroness for almost 15 years...and STONE might just be AOTY for me.

I bought Red Album on a whim in High school without hearing anything from them. Just figured, well they're opening for Red Chord... I should check this out. Huge part of my life since that day.
I like the rhythm section having a weird time in the desert and sea
I love that every album sounds totally different than the last. Pure talent. One of my favorite bands.

I've been listening to all three singles on repeat. They are all amazing and each uniquely brilliant in its own way. "Shine" is Baroness reaching a new level of dark, majestic artistry. Such a beautiful, enchanting tune, and an equally mysterious and poetic piece of visual art to accompany it. Loving it all! September 15th can't get here soon enough!

loving that the mixing of this album seems to be cleaner than the last. Love them either way, but that was my one complaint about the last record.

So much better than that clipping mess of a drum track in the prior 2 albums.

Gina’s voice + John’s voice is something akin to Layne Staley’s voice + Jerry Cantrell’s voice. They sound so damn good together! It really gives the songs an added depth of emotion. What a beautiful song!
Yeah man i fully agree they accent each other so well. Ones in the left and the other in the right ear and it sounds sooo good.
