Buying quality usually pays off. We bought a high end dishwasher which we had for years and my SIL bought 3 cheap dishwashers in that same time period, so not only did she spend more than us in the long run, she also had all the hassle of buying, disposal and installation, not to mention the environmental cost. 100% agree BUT it can be VERY difficult to assess quality. It's not something easily learned or taught, and that's the problem. I guess now with so much on the internet you can research what to look for but mostly we seem to go with our gut instinct and buying habits. Cheers from Oz!
