Koli is charged of multiple cases. Besides if Im not wrong he himself has confessed that he murdered and ate his victims (children). Pandher is the one who was acquitted coz he was given the benefit of doubt (he told the court that he was unaware of his servant's - koli's activities in his house).
Sector 36 ‘s running time is around 2 hrs , so , it’s probably not possible to describe the whole case in such a short time . I think Netflix should make a 5-6 episodes documentary on the case.

There was an interview that came on tv where Surinder Koli admitted to killing them and eating their parts. I am not sure if that can be found anywhere anymore but that was really disturbing. I may have been 18 back then, old enough to understand how deranged this man really was and then he gets acquitted of all charges. Shameful!!
That case is also decades old now. I also remember it vaguely since I was 5-6 at that time but for years (till I was 9) it used to be featured on every news channel until Arushi murder case happened and took away all the limelight. Late 2000's were really terrifying times!

Regarding Buckingham Murders:- I am sure the film's screenplay and other factors are underwhelming, but I don't think that the story being based in UK makes it unrelatable, not necessarily. The human emotions portrayed can make any story relatable from any part of world. Like Badla for example, was a very good movie, despite being based in UK only.

The only creative liberty they took was deepak dobriyal's daughter getting kidnapped which influences him to actually start investigating . Other than that , the movie is 99% true to the fact.

The film could have been grittier, but the needless police drama took away from the story. Deepak Dobriyal was fantastic and hopefully, will be featured in more such prominent roles.
You know when the actor's acting is so good that you end up getting scared and hating the character. Like i used to scared from ashutosh rana's character in 'dushman' and urmila mantondkar's character in 'kaun'.. i felt vikrant's acting is soo good that you actually feel disgusted from that character and starts to hating it..

i watched the lallantop interview of the doctor who was involved in this cased, on his youtube channel you can see he shares the images of remain from the scene and its really disturbing, I think he was the one who did autopsy on Indira Gandhi and other major cases. he shares really chilling insight into murder case even in arushi case.
I would recommend shan you to watch javed iqbal (pakistani film which is simiar to sector 36 and it is also based on true events happened) you'll definitely like.
Sector 36 : i have been aware of this case for quite sometime & knowing the complexity of this incident and the long trial that happened i just wish it would have been a TV series . But i don't think we are still ready for that. This Incident does force you to start asking question about Human Mentality.

Watched Sector-6, I think Real star of the film was Deepak Dobriyal, Vikrant Massy was great too but had a very limited screen time and sometimes his performance felt like he was trying hard to look psycho. I did not find it very disturbing, it was more sad actually. Rating- 3.5/5

Very true about Vikrant Messy screen presence, amazing talent skill,dialougue delivery in that 15 mins interrogation scene establish him as one of the finest actors . I watched the movie before watching the review and was awe struck by his performance so much so that I watched the rerun of the interrogation scene twice . Mesmerizing performance 👏
Sector 36 is very well directed but Vikrant Massi couldn't justify phycho rolle. But the Police role was fully justified. It's disturbing and at the end when he died was very saddening. How Saravana got promoted makes us more angry on human being
I really think Vikrant Massey is not at par with Nawaz or Aashutosh's portrayals. Maybe because he has done more vanilla roles in the past. He was good but not dark enough
Nawaz and ashtosh are also physical performers. They look like serial killers so their portrayal will always be chilling. Vikrant massey has a potential to play such role. How much dark is needed is subjective.

Anmol (From TRP) had cautioned people to watch The Buckingham Muders in Hinglish version instead of Hindi dub because the dubbing is atrocious. So if you are planning to watch it, watch it in Hinglish, because 80-90% of the film is in English language.
How were these two men acquitted anyway?! So many evidence at the house and outside the house and even surinder ADMITTING that he killed them. Then why?! Why was the judge not dismissed? Why was no action taken? How is Indian public so quiet about this? I don’t understand. Pandher was only a businessman and surely he cannot have that reach to influence a court’s decision. The judge should have been dismissed and the case needs to be opened. THERE IS STILL TIME FOR JUSTICE

It’s not abt mothers even for fathers (like me) it is a tough watch. However such series make me more aware as a citizen and as a parent. It also helps me to realize from within that how thankful we are to God for even having a ‘normal’ life which we sometimes fail to appreciate.

Very true about Vikrant Messy screen presence, amazing talent skill,dialougue delivery in that 15 mins interrogation scene establish him as one of the finest actors . I watched the movie before watching the review and was awe struck by his performance so much so that I watched the rerun of the interrogation scene twice . Mesmerizing performance 👏

Sector 36 is very well directed but Vikrant Massi couldn't justify phycho rolle. But the Police role was fully justified. It's disturbing and at the end when he died was very saddening. How Saravana got promoted makes us more angry on human being

Nawaz and ashtosh are also physical performers. They look like serial killers so their portrayal will always be chilling. Vikrant massey has a potential to play such role. How much dark is needed is subjective.

How were these two men acquitted anyway?! So many evidence at the house and outside the house and even surinder ADMITTING that he killed them. Then why?! Why was the judge not dismissed? Why was no action taken? How is Indian public so quiet about this? I don’t understand. Pandher was only a businessman and surely he cannot have that reach to influence a court’s decision. The judge should have been dismissed and the case needs to be opened. THERE IS STILL TIME FOR JUSTICE

I am a mother and I have seen this movie last night...it will give u chills...the interrogation scene will horrify u to the core...
It’s not abt mothers even for fathers (like me) it is a tough watch. However such series make me more aware as a citizen and as a parent. It also helps me to realize from within that how thankful we are to God for even having a ‘normal’ life which we sometimes fail to appreciate.
I found both Vikrant’s and Deepak’s acting equally good. Deepak’s expressions were very good too
