"And now he's gunna buy his family a house "
Wonderful line and good for him!!
Agreed! Happy for them
@@TheFreshSoundsFlorida rr6rr
Now mom will live in his basement.
Go from nothing to being able to buy his neighbors house
I'm shocked that the KFConsole didn't make the list!
I'm glad it didn't, makes room for the less known stories the KFC machine was talked about by quite a few.
Tbf the trailer for that thing has been on UA-cam for a couple months
Right!?!?!?
ikr???
Thats true
I wasn't surprised that Falcon has his Y-axis inverted. He's a freaking Falcon so it's natural for him lmao.
He’s not actually a Falcon you know
@@GaniusZ10 yea he knos falcon isn’t a falcon he was making a joke
@@GaniusZ10 He is not a real Falcon!?! How dare you spout such nonsense!
Old games are invert by default, old gamers
Playing the OG microsoft flight sim 1.0 I think it was default inverted.
Edit: Just read the article and yup, I grew up on flight sim lol
Falcon has one of those voices that’s gonna be REALLY nostalgic in a few years.. let’s enjoy this moment
Thats scary
D.iv.in.e his narration is terrible. Every time I click one of these videos I hope that it’s Jake and not falcon
@@osomorose I bet you enjoy the h3 podcast too, huh? LOL
@@d.iv.in.e - I prefer to hear Ethan talk, to be honest, yea... How is that fat dad more energetic and concise with his speech than this Falcon guy anyway?...
Giving a scalper a taste of their own medicine isn't a dick move if anything I salute it.
@Joseph Zamora-jr are you? Or are you playing the system because ppl will spend ungodly amount of money on a console? If anything they got a good pay day good for them. Don't be sucker lol
@@watchmen617 who is that comment directed at, it makes no sense
@Austin Hoffer it's pathetic.
@@Iraqiwarcrimesit's directed to your question, in which you say that your pathetic if you are living off scalping. I asked are you? If ppl are dumb enough to buy an item that has been price gouged and the person selling it is continuously making profit, how are they pathetic? If anything it's smart, the scalpers know there was a demand and took a risk with their own captial to buy a product and flip it for profit. It's smart. It's an asshole move but it worked for the most part. To further clarify This is relating to ppl buying ps5 and selling them for 2 OR 3 times that amount. Just like home buying to flip down the road.
@@watchmen617
Are you actually trying to downplay someone's disgust, while Justifying Scalping, going so far as to praise it?
Wow.
Whoever raised you, failed exponentially.
He should've said it was a router.....
its a good console tbh
A goddamn $600 router
Not to mention the size of it, "yea check it out babe I got a router for the neighbourhood"
I see you are a man of culture...
plash speed 5 they even got an advert to that.
the "putting the food on the table" excuse is BS. They could have bought food instead of scalping consoles.
"Hey, I'm putting food on the table (by stealing food off that guy's table).
I hate the “putting food on the table excuse” for scalping... a lot more can be done with 500 dollars that doesn’t require screwing over real costumers and fans of a product
costumer?
I love that, scamming the scalpers.
I loved hearing that some were getting attacked it was great
Since they can't be arrested this might as well work.
I might just start doing this for the hell of it, and I already have my PS5
@@bigfoot12118
What?
The Scalpers were getting harmed?
What's assaulting 1 out of hundreds of thousands of scalpers going to do?
*Leave a Family Fatherless, while he goes to jail, and not the scalper*
Best way to do it, go to their house, look at the console, say actually no, then give their address to the local burglary team.
Win win.
That protein story was amazing! I feel inspired :-)
Same
I dont get it. Gamers folded some proteins that some scientist couldn’t do for half a century. What?
@@madsb7673 Yup. FoldingAtHome existed for years, but this was the first time gamers were given direct control and they figured out everything immediately.
@@AkiRa22084 Except I was playing that folding game back in 2005. Deep Mind has designed neural net that figures out protein shape without any gamers. The whole news piece is misleading, you see.
Im pretty surr they did something similar in 2011
"No one had to pay $1300 for toilet paper"
Wait i'm the only one?
You didn't actually buy that 2000 dollar toilet paper listing on ebay did you? Please tell me you didn't

@@Error403HRD nah cool bro. It was more meant for the "use water" dude
Too be fair... consoles do suck in dust... so that's less dust in the air
Yep
I know they're working on Vaccines right now. But I'm really hoping for a cure for people who use inverted controls.
That's savage haha
Hey that’s me! Why you hating 🥲

I like the story about the kid who made money with the backing of his mom. I hope this helps to change things all over the world. Gaming isn't what it was 20-30 years ago.
Yes you can now drive a viper all day and not die

Every time I watch one of Falcon’s videos I feel like I miss half of it and have to rewatch because I start daydreaming about the actual birds. The speed and altitude at which they fly and the enormous amount of force with which they strike their prey is just amazing to me.
I invert only on flying games and flying games alone.
I'm the same, or at least I can't think of any other game where I do it. It's natural that way and mimics the vehicle controls.
Exactly. I had to do that for star wars squadron especially switching both the left and right stick. Only because their default stick controls are atrocious IMO.
Oh so it's not just me that does it selectively
@@saint-g7449 For Squadrons, I inverted, switched the sticks, then moved the throttle to buttons.
I dont invert on anything not even flying games
Currently Studying Biology and that last one just makes me feel good. Thank you for this

Maybe you guys are on UA-cam far too much?

I will always invert the “Y” axis
just add in that last line like nothing, "and then he's gonna buy his family a house."
I'm surprised that the kfc console isn't on here
ikr???
It got more popular so everyone knows about it.
KFConsole for life
Man im loving your content so far. Keep up the good work, Falcon!
New to the channel! was that Tom Hanks? lol 😂 great job Happy Holidays

Bruh it's just a cartoon of a generic car
Number 1: A grown man identifying himself a cartoon falcon.
That's what gamers do.
The air purifier tale will never cease to amuse me. No remote, no screen, hardly any button, if at all, and it has the ps logo. I could only imagine how pissed she was for undermining her intelligence.
My dad has inverted controled, when I asked him why he explained this. Instead of being the character or being inside them (how I see it) he plays as if his hand has a grasp on said character's head. So he pulls back = the characters head goes up. He pushes forward = the head moves down. I use inverted in flight games because that's how a throttle works but I always found his thought process quite interesting.
The asus TUF GAMING rtx 3080 got the number 1 spot on the google 2020 shopping guide.
See you guys next year with more weird stories!
Cyberpunk is a game changer in the sense that the actual store platforms had to say no we won't allow unfinished unplayable games. There will be a turning point in the pre-order promise business.
Top 10 weird gaming stories is my favorite I can't wait for it sometimes lol
Finally. Someone else who inverts the controls.
Why?
You monsters
So to shoot someone to the left of you, you aim to the right?
I have to have it inverted. If I play normal it just really messes me up
@@mrcoolman6843 I do it because my dad played inverted on og Halo, and we played that game together a lot. So I decided to copy him.
I never expected that Sony would basically make a game a timed Xbox exclusive
yknow what this is actually funny well done
Not their fault at all
@@Sl0thb0yy Thanks
Hey man you're not alone with the inverted controller stick. I too have played this way since the beginning. The way I always explained it is that by "pulling back" on the stick would make you look up much like someone pulling on your hair from the back would make you look up. "Pushing forward" resulting in looking down. It makes total sense to me and many others but still don't know why we do this. XD
1 and 2 place - so heartwarming! We need more of these kind of news during times like these
That long pause after you said “ that women can”
I was thinking the same🤣
Everyone: sweating intensifies
Is it really a gameranx countdown video if it doesn't contain:
1. Game footage shown with that cheap green line/wire filter.
2. Matrix 1s and 0s over a video or game clip
3. Taking an image then multiplying it all over the screen.
Best video yet!! Please keep them coming.
Finally! I was waiting for 10 weird stories so much
You guys should do a 2020 recap video
How original
@@floatinggoose9197 well it would be very original. I just did a search for 2020 gaming recap videos and there aren't any. Just best games of 2020 but nothing like weird gaming stories of 2020.
@@anubrakahn2970 that's..... why I said it. If you think I'm being sarcastic, it's because there's ambiguous context with Typed sentences.
I can’t believe this kid went from bowling to fortnite
Glad to hear your voice today Falcon. Had a shit day and ready to relax while your cool sarcasm melts my cares away
I heard about the wedding ring story. Great video
Gameranx: “Only 1% can tell what this is”
Literally everyone: “it’s a PS5”
Reminds me of those stupid mobile game ads.
@@MrG_wasTaken yeah I didn’t watch the video so I was kinda hoping someone would reply to my comment saying the thumbnail is a joke
There is a problem with the description, it says January instead of December.
I liked that one scammer, who scammed scalpers in that way, where he made two scalpers meet up to sell each other a PS5. I can only imagine their faces when they realized they've been scammed.
Thank you falcon. Have a happy new year :)

I only invert my flight controls. Other than that everything is normal
Exactly flying in games feels weird af if it’s not inverted
@@RDB0199118 right? It just feels so wrong not flying an airplane with inverted control.
Exactly
I used to do that in my old PS2 for GTA SA
Every other game was normal

I’ve always inverted too, but I know why. The first game that even had y-axis controls for me growing up was SNES Star Fox. Not only did it teach me to play inverted y-axis, but it also taught me to read…ah good memories.
Hearing Falcon talk about protein folds as someone who actually understands the subject is just hilarious :D
The thumbnail: only 1% can tell what this is.
Everyone in the comments: PS5
Click bait thumbnail for sure
The only time i have controls inverted is when i play flying or swimming games.

I haven’t inverted controls since Ace Combat on PS1 in the 90s. Good on you, bud.

Dude I don't know why there's such a stigma for those of us who invert Y. Just, why the hate?
I haven't met anyone who actually hates on people for playing inverted, just who get annoyed if you have to keep switching the settings for whatever reason.
I love when y'all do these videos
I literally just finished watching Deepmind's videos on protein folding...
If my wife ever tried to make me sell my game stuff, and didn't allow me to play, she wouldn't be my wife. WTF, How you let someone control your life
Do you have the experience of getting yelled by your wife for 1hr straight, mate???
"Plays Fortnite for around 12 hours a day and he's made over half a million pounds doing it"
Let's just take a moment to sink in how that sounds.
Kid's gonna be nearsighted as fuck...
I’m also one of those inverted freaks. When I was younger, I accidentally switched my settings to inverted, couldn’t figure out how to change it back, so I adapted. Now I can play both ways but my go to is still inverted
"See, the way proteins work in your body is..."
WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE REAL FALCON?!?!
The thumbnail is clickbait...
Everyone knows that’s a WIFI Router.
Nah, its obviously an air purifier
@@wilkaii idk looks kinda sketchy to me
Imagine trying to use the PS5 as a toilet paper, how would that even work?
I still haven't figured out the three sea-shells thing from Demolition Man.
"Ha he doesn't know how to use the 3 Seashells" 😉
Wow once you mentioned inverted controls. I have no idea when I started or why I started but one day I switched and never went back. And I have no idea why other than maybe a friend challenged me to beat halo 1 with it back in the day lol idk
You wouldn't believe how amazing those hand massages are though.
FINALLY!!!!! This year is going to end guys..
Happy New Year everyone🥳🎉
Ummm that’s one curvy PS5 on the thumbnail smh!!
Great video. . . . . I also play inverted.
Happy new year Falcon!
The thumbnail is a ps5. Guess I’m in that 1%
"Man made to sell his PS5 after realising it wasn't an air purifier."
What a SIMP.
Interesting thing I remember about invert controls. I remember a lot of old games for ps1 had invert controls and I had to switch over. My sister however never did and still changes them over.
I feel really happy for number 2...but I had to smile about the "knee condition"
Like "I was a real good soccerboy...but then I took an arrow in the knee!"
I pray anyone that sees this is successful in life......
You too bro God bless
Thanks you too
I was gonna leave a joke
Then I saw that two people said THANK YOU
Fair enough, same for u Anon.
Ah. The year with only 2 months
thanks for a great year!
I was actually waiting for this🤗
That protein study sounds very familiar to Borderlands Science. It's amazing the work you can get done when you present it to gamers as a game
That second story sounded like a really toxic relationship and I hope that the guy ended up managing to escape from her abuse.
I feel the y axis invert, I just can’t without. Just it helps with aim and flight so much
My opinion on inverted controls as someone who used to use inverted but now uses standard.
Inverted actually makes a lot of sense for a logic and reality angle. You're moving a stick, if you placed a stick in the back of someone's head and wanted to make them look up then you'd pull the stick down to tilt their eyes up. Seriously, if you had any of those novelty Action Man type toys who had moving eyes/heads they used a stick that was "inverted".
I took a long break from gaming and found as an adult I didn't need it to be inverted and am now used to standard but the logic is solid for practical application of inverted vertical controls.
Even better than simply wasting scalpers time, people are sending two different scalpers to the same spot
i skipped science class to see gameranxs video
what do i see, MORE SCIENCEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I played regular controls (not inverted) for years as a kid until I started playing a flight simulator. I was forced to learn inverted for that game and I think it just sort of made sense after that and I kept inverted controls for probably around 20 years. Just recently I relearned how to play on regular controls again since I was taking turns playing with people who were not inverted players and it was getting annoying having to switch back and forth all the time. It took probably a week or so to get to be as good as I was inverted. There you have my confession of a recovering inverted player.
People:toilet paper
Me:i only need water and soap for my hands..
For the inverted controls, I for one think it makes more sense. Think of the joystick as a person's head....you tilt your head back to look up. With movement I think up like on a d-pad or moving up on a joystick as a direction, moving up is moving forward. So one joystick is the characters head and the other is the legs. But I still think it is awkward because with that logic you swing the back of your head left to look, or face right. I could never get used to inverted left and right.
Everybody loves Lyber Funk 😂
The last one about BioTech development is awesome 😁
*Wife:* _It's not an Air Purifier!? Send back that new Ps5!_
*Me:* _I'll send YOU back instead. We're getting a divorce._
I play inverted because I started playing shooter video games and super mario 64, and before that I used a joystick as a controller in pc games. I view the Game world as a 3d environment and the camera is sitting on the thumb stick. so I push it forward to point the camera down and pull the stick back to point the camera up. Maybe the words I use such as push and pull tell a little about it also. Where people that dont play inveted might say something like push up to look up and push down to look down?
Back in the day as a kid I used to invert the vertical movement of my mouse for every fps games..
