“Into the Woods” is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel-all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.

Kv B I was referring this particular musical not the original. I thought that would have been quite obvious.
This performance, IMO, is arguably stronger than Ben Wright from the OBC. Don't get be wrong, Ben Wright did an exceptional job for the stage, but it just feels refreshing to see an actual kid play Jack for a change. He performs this song absolutely beautifully, with all the bravado and brio of an exuberant youngster on a grand adventure. Bravo, Daniel Huttlestone!
I am inclined to agree! I prefer the OBC members except for the children. Huddleston, as you said, was just perfect and completely wonderful. Lilla Crawford was amazing as well and in general, I just enjoy her voice more then the original little red, Danielle Ferland. The original children were fine but, these two were just stunning! How did you feel about Pine's preformance?
I think the child roles were both cast too young. "Into the Woods" is about how children grow up. Jack and Red both have songs about the sexual awakenings of puberty. That level of meaning is lost when pre-pubescent children perform the parts. That being said, I think both of the actors did a great job in the film.

I do wonder if the lady giant just wanna had a chat with Jack, seeing as he's saying about how nice she is here.
Nope wanted his life I can't exactly blame her since she gave him all that stuff and he repaid her kindness by robbing her and killing her husband.
Yeah but that was after he went out of his way to get caught. The lady giant made sure to keep him out of sight of her husband when he visited her or at least tried to stop her husband from eating him even though he was only seen because he went to see what he could get his hands on. It wasn't like he was being a perfect young gentlemen while he was there. He was robbing her with every trip it just happened that the last time he got caught.
Even then why would he steal what he can and run? You repay someone that gives you food and rest by taking their stuff? The giant smelled him but most likely didn't see him or he would have followed him down the beanstalk the first time Jack robbed them. You would think hey at the top of this beanstalk is a giant that wants to eat me. I should leave cut it down so that other giants don't get the idea of coming down here to eat other people but no instead he decides to go back up to repay the female giant's kindness who had no intention of eating him by robbing her.
I mean the facts are that he did steal from them and he killed the giant to stop himself from paying the consequences. Now do I think he should have let himself get eaten no but he can't deny that he was the cause of both the giants deaths and his mother wouldn't have died if he didn't keep going back up to steal from them. She was left without her treasures and then on top of that without a husband.

This movie is criminally underrated and I don't know why it was so unpopular because, as a musical theater geek, I loved it.
