Just to clear up a few things fact wise. Hades is the ruler of the underworld (also called Hades) but he is the god of wealth due to the many thousands of gold pockets and other gems lying around where he lives, which is basically under a mountain that was once a volcano. Hera hated Hercules and wanted to kill him. Hades isn't inherently bad at all. Remembering it was fine to kidnap your wife back then just as it is now in some countries. Hades and Persephone had one of the chillest and nicest relationships in history. Also Zeus was a nymphomaniac (someones who loves sex basically). Remembering that myths cannot be compared fully to modern day interpretation as we have a different culture and society.
"Remember it was fine to kidnap your wife" The fuck? Lots of horrible things could have been done to you and your abuser need only pay a fine. That absolves them am I right? They're not bad. And Persephone wasn't actually kidnapped. Look for the real story
Hades only kidnapped her because Zeus gave him that advise. Hades thought she was cute and asked Zeus what he should do and Zeus said to kidnap her..... So that wasn't even his fault. He was trusting his brother.
also if i remember correct he allowed her to go back to her mom for a few months, that's why we have the seasons like winter and spring, and didn't he give Cerberus to Hercules to fulfill a task on the condition he was brought back unharmed.
I think my absolute favorite is the first one and the Hades one. But all of these are amazing!!! Their voices are amazing and I love how sassy they can be!! I absolutely love them!
I mean come on Hades is the good guy here. He didn't do anything he was just sitting there being quiet and the blame is put on him. That is the worst thing ever. I feel bad for Hades if anyone is mean it's the titans.
The Titans and Hera. She's the one who made shit difficult for Heracles in the first place and tried to kill him -- along with every other kid who was Zeus' but not hers (except Athena). She always put all the blame on the ones Zeus slept with and their children and never Zeus himself. She's both a bitch and an idiot! Clearly my least favorite goddess.
Sledgehammer101 king triton is the son of Poseidon. Hercules is the son of Zeus. Hercules and Triton are 1st cousins and Ariel and Hercules are 2nd cousins.

I love all of them wow strong voices beautiful bravo!!!! just wish they were a real group they'd be killin it. Love the movie but the muses made the movie so much better.
I just love how someone must have said "Hey, if it's about Greek mythology, it just makes sense to have a Greek chorus like in the old theater." And then someone else said, "ok, but we want it to be a fun musical." "Huh. Well... You know what kind of music is sung by a choir AND is fun? GOSPEL!" "BRILLIANT! LET'S DO IT!" And we got this. To be fair, they were 100% right.
Hades was always the kindest of the big three, but then everyone always hates on him making him out to be all evil and stuff. He did absolutely nothing wrong except get the short end of the stick and follow bad advice thanks to his brother (how rude Zeus. How. Rude), and so because of something he had NO SAY IN everyone decides he's the bad guy. (Thanks a lot Zeus, look at what you've done.) And I want you guys to know, that I'm greatly disappointed in ALL of you. So there. You just got told by a 14 year old.
Ok Mr.14-year-old can you please tell me what *I* did wrong here all i did was click on a video I completley agree with you but you don't have to be so rude at the end btw I'm 15
Food for thought, yes, but you know all the tortures that Hades "came up with" actually came from Zeus. And while I completely agree with what you are saying, it doesn't mean you need to go and scream at everyone on UA-cam about it. And yes, I know it sounds like I'm just retaliating but I'm not, I'm a huge PJO and HoO fan and I have always hated how Hades had been portrayed in both this movie (a kids movie) and the PJO books. So, now that I have said my piece, please understand that this comment wasn't needed. This is a kids movie working off of the mythological standpoint. It didn't use any opinions on which Greek god was best, it used what facts they found, and if they are like me and did extensive research into the subject, then they would have found more books going against Hades than books going with Hades not being all that bad. So there. You just got told off by a 15 year old who took Greek Mythology and has read every Greek Mythology book there is (fiction or not). How does that feel?
1. It’s no one’s fault he got the under world the drawings of who would rule what were random. 2. Hades kidnapped and in prisons Persephone 6 months out of the year and had to be bribed to let her go in the first place just to trick her to stay for 6 months. 3. He’s killed and attacked many of his brothers children. 4. He tried killing his brothers on many occasions. 5. He tortures people for fun and plays tricks on his children. There’s many more negative and terrible things hades has done then you think. Don’t give sympathy before you know the full story.

Question: If Zeus was able to defeat all the Titans on his own before the movie, how were the same Titans able to pose a threat to all the Olympians (including him) near the end of the movie?
For story purposes, it was Hercules who had to save the day. Though you could argue that because the Titan's took Olympus by surprise, the gods weren't ready.
Who doesn’t give a damn that the story doesn’t exactly follow Greek mythology and can appreciate that it’s a wonderful adaptation without screaming “INACCURACY!” any chance they get?

I really enjoyed the parts with the Muses. I don't know if other people do, but I just find them so fun and interesting narrators/choir.
Same
Just to clear up a few things fact wise.
"Remember it was fine to kidnap your wife"
The fuck? Lots of horrible things could have been done to you and your abuser need only pay a fine. That absolves them am I right? They're not bad.
And Persephone wasn't actually kidnapped. Look for the real story
Hades only kidnapped her because Zeus gave him that advise. Hades thought she was cute and asked Zeus what he should do and Zeus said to kidnap her..... So that wasn't even his fault. He was trusting his brother.
@@eniolaolubosi487 The wealth part is only in his Roman form as Pluto
@@sherrieshadoan6082 Damn it Zeus don't give your brother bad advice
also if i remember correct he allowed her to go back to her mom for a few months, that's why we have the seasons like winter and spring, and didn't he give Cerberus to Hercules to fulfill a task on the condition he was brought back unharmed.
Vermouth is basically wine; just in case anyone was wondering.
Hercules was like the Starbucks of ancient Greece, wasn't he?
Yes. Everywhere you turned, there he was. ( Percy Jackson )
Xd
“He HURRRRRRRRRRLED his thunder bolt!”
“HONeY! You mean hUnKuLeAs”
(Favorite parts in this movie)
Cheese The CowFish yes honey 😍
Black women are the empathy of music that hits ur soul
Nico: Srsly??My dad is not like that.
Annabeth: Hera was not a nice mother...
Definitely not
Percy: I want blue food!
LoL Hades sure wasn't like that in the Blood of Olympus
***** SOLANGELO! All the way!!
Whoever had the idea of combining gospel music with greek mythology in a disney movie, was a GENIUS
When it says “He hurled his thunderbolt” all I can imagine is a piece of lightning coming out of Zeus’s mouth while he is hunched over in pain.
LMAOOO I SEE THIS NOW 😭
I like how at 3:50 it acts like Hera would actually be sad that Hercules was gone.
At the "Along came zeus" bit I almost spat out my drink cause I rememberd the Dan video xD
Oh no!! XD Thank you so much for reminding me that, oh dear Ra!
Your welcome! xDD
Is this Dan video something I will want to see, or something I should absolutely under any circumstances not see?
Something that you should see c:
But it will ruin this song for you
lil devils Can you give the link?
Anyone wondering why all the comment are recent for a video that is 8yrs old
They were here before but got deleted
UA-cam keeps putting this on UA-cam kids then taking it off so the comments keep getting deleted 😢
I wonder why the Greeks didn't set Eren Jager on the titans.
i know right!
I knew somewhere along the line someone was gonna say something about that hahahaha! I thought I was the only one thinking the same thing
No, no, no. Not Eren. Send Levi and Mikasa. They outweigh Eren alone.
Because anime didn't exist at that time.
Cackling Gale Okashiikazekiri no no. A hungry sasha will do. Or an angry hanji.
these songs are still so good nothing can change my mind
I don't know why but this moment 0:52 is my favourite part ! With 1:22
The Gospel Truth II is my all time FAVORITE!!!
oney you mean HUNKULES! WHOO
I'd like to make some sweet music...
our story, actually begins.. long before Hercules. many aeons ago..
Man I wonder who played her! That one straight up sang this one!
Powerful voices!!!😨❤
This was (tied with Shrek and The Lion King) one of my favorite movies when I was a child.
I so just wanna see these girls in the recording studio with this song. :D
I think my absolute favorite is the first one and the Hades one. But all of these are amazing!!! Their voices are amazing and I love how sassy they can be!! I absolutely love them!
The old Disney movies have the best music and that's the gospel truth
I mean come on Hades is the good guy here. He didn't do anything he was just sitting there being quiet and the blame is put on him. That is the worst thing ever. I feel bad for Hades if anyone is mean it's the titans.
*Twilight Moon* , Hades was a good guy...
*& that’s the GOSPEL OF TRUTH!* XD
The Titans and Hera. She's the one who made shit difficult for Heracles in the first place and tried to kill him -- along with every other kid who was Zeus' but not hers (except Athena). She always put all the blame on the ones Zeus slept with and their children and never Zeus himself. She's both a bitch and an idiot!
Clearly my least favorite goddess.
I wouldn't call him the "good guy" necessarily....
I think the only bad thing he ever did was kidnapped his niece, Persephone, and married her.
@@BoredomBee
Zeus: Your mother and I loved you so much
Me: _I doubt it._
"heros like hercules :)" this is my favourite lyric but like... you made it 100% better with the smiley face
did you know that Ariel and Hercules are related?
Yes I did. After making family trees. Their like cousins or something?
Almost got it.
+Elysia THE FANGIRL yeah they are cousins, because of Poseidon and Zeus
Miss Kat but I thought Ariel's dad was King Triton
Sledgehammer101 king triton is the son of Poseidon. Hercules is the son of Zeus. Hercules and Triton are 1st cousins and Ariel and Hercules are 2nd cousins.
who the hell would dislike this. thay have no disney life
Janaya love trolls
Next school year, im gonna make sure this is our musical, and im gonna play one of the muses
I love you for putting them all together
Lisa Van Der Ploeg geen dank! Denk dat je ook Nederlands bent hahaha van je achternaam
Lisa Van Der Ploeg en anders: you’re welcome!
thank you so much I love these songs and how you did 3...2...1!!!
+Kallie Rogers You're welcome :) xx
Lol this movie was already gonna be great but the muses made it over the top awesome. I couldn’t imagine better narrators who put so much soul into the music. This Disney era was just so great.
YOU GO GIRLS
I love all of them wow strong voices beautiful bravo!!!! just wish they were a real group they'd be killin it. Love the movie but the muses made the movie so much better.
Uh, where did all the comments go? Is anyone else seeing this?
I see it too. I dont know whats going on haha
I was wondering too lol
It’s probably a UA-cam problem since it’s a kids movie song lyric video.
I just realized that
@@Megz1794 they better not make this a UA-cam kids thing 😡
@@Zacari.1 1. He kidnapped Persephone out of love
2. he stayed true to his wife
3. he got the short end of the stick
4. Zeus came up with many of the punishments
5. He doesnt torture people for fun, they deserve to be punished if thed did something bad like kill a person
6. Other gods have done worse things such as Apollo and Hera
7. Ive read lots of books on the Greek and Roman gods and Im 13
@@marisaemmons2095 Yeah no.....He KIDNAPPED Persephone! AGAINST her will! His SISTER'S daughter! And he TRICKED her into staying with him! "Stayed true to his wife?" Pfft! No he didn't! He cheated on her TWICE! Just because he didn't cheat as much as his brothers doesn't mean anything! And hurting his brothers children doesn't justify anything! He could be the bigger person and deal with it! Hades wasn't as bad as his brothers but he wasn't good either!
Can I have these women narrating my life? Like, they can SING.
ON MOUNT OLYMPUS LIFE WAS NEAT AND SMOOTH AS SWEET VERMOUTH!
Definitely my favorite line.
Question: If Zeus was able to defeat all the Titans on his own before the movie, how were the same Titans able to pose a threat to all the Olympians (including him) near the end of the movie?
For story purposes, it was Hercules who had to save the day. Though you could argue that because the Titan's took Olympus by surprise, the gods weren't ready.
geargrinder87 also they state he did it in his youth
zeus don't got it anymore
because of the alignment of the planets, zeus was weaker. hades used that exact moment to make hercules give up his strenght and free the titans
@Baribefe Kpurubu normal sunday for desney
They song tf outta this song 😩😩
'On Mount Olympus, life was neat and smooth as sweet vermouth'
...You sure about that?
Legitimately who knew that Gospel would work with Greek Mythos it's actually insane how two entirely different cultural concepts could work so well
Man Disney hires like the best singers for there movies😃
Love this! Thank you for putting them all together. The muses are my favorite Disney characters
Who doesn’t give a damn that the story doesn’t exactly follow Greek mythology and can appreciate that it’s a wonderful adaptation without screaming “INACCURACY!” any chance they get?
I didn't back then
From a mythological standpoint, the gospel truth is exactly what it should be. The Muses are known to not be entirely truthful.
0:53 "He HURRRRRRLLEED his thurderbolt"
..... Eargasm activated!!
Yo Hades was is and always will be my husbando. He's just a socially awkward guy that loves his dogs, and gave the girl he liked food, after which they agreed to start a relationship where she'd commute from his place and back to her home. He's a cinnamon roll and I love him.
So underrated!!! By far one of the best Disney songs!
My wireless earbuds broke weeks ago, and last night I decided to get new ones. I opened this song as it attempt to fix them. As soon as the Muses began so sing, they *came to life* .
Inaccurate or not, you could tell how much fun they, especially the VAs, where having
I love how they don’t just forget about the muses in the middle of the movie, they’re constantly a part of it here and there
As inaccurate as the movie is to the actual Myth behind Hercules, it's still a good movie to watch, also the music is just filled with soul and gospel and I love it.
OMG, yesssss i love all the Disney movies. thank you soooo much for making this.
So nice to see this song with all three verses instead of just the first one like most do
Put in 0.5 Speed. It sounds like they are drunk. VERY drunk.
Henrique Carballo Aranha omg!! My EARRRS 😭😭😂😂😂
Henrique Carballo Aranha yes.. Yes it does
Henrique Carballo Aranha 😂👏🏼
OMG at .5 speed 1:10 is my favorite part
Henrique Carballo Aranha you made my day 😂
"tell it girl" is just the best lol
Fun fact! Calliope (The goddess of epics and heroic story) hands over the Leading vocals to Melpomene (The goddess of tragedies/ tragic plays) for the third gospel truth, after Hercules's tragic kidnapping.
We are the muses, goddesses of the arts and proclaimers of heroes...
liss backham Hero's like HERCULES!
Honey you mean HUNKULES
I'd like to make some sweet music in..
Our story actually begins looong before Hercules, many aeons ago.... WAHAYAYAYA
