I guess Lex likes the current wars and insane spending from the democrats in power atm. Donald Trump had a much better foreign policy when he was in office
Lex. You concern with tearing families apart but do the people who come in to the US to take from the welfare state, that is intended for citizens who have played by the rules, care at all that such behavior that withers and weakens the social safety net? The answer is no. Morever do those who take advantage of or induce by inaction an open border, where Fentanyl enters separates the familes of US Citizens by overdose deaths, have any mercy for the deaths induced by Fentanyl, Cartel violence, human trafficking, dangerous criminal migrants or the saturation of people to the US who cannot readily be assimilated to the best of the US values and priciples. Butwho rather lower the floor on wages, get benefits our veterans, poor and homeless do not get. I'm frankly disappointed in your empathy priorities. I propose mass deporting antone who came inunder Biden, citizenship for pre Biden dreamers, non deportationof peoplewho came prior to Biden so long as they jave no. Violent or gang or recidivist criminal record but they have to get in the back of the line behind everyone who is lawfully applying and waiting to properly navigate our immigration system. The wallust be built so that the reckless, lethaland callous form of border enfprcement inactioncan not be so easily replicated going forward. I'm pissed at you Lex.
Not really, it's basic confrontation with reality - Lex is exposing a propaganda point that has no grounds in reality because Trump was there, and didn't do anything. And now you think that Trump, being older, with less cognitive capacity, will somehow do it.
Street smarts is not the right word here. His sense of logic is flawed and his political views are based on his incorrect perception of society. edit: In my opinion
He will need to be because the orange fellow has no clue how to get things done in a presidency… look at his last term, he didn’t pass a single bill, all he did was giving huge tax benefits to the ultra rich. He has the business acumen of a toddler, look at his bankruptcy record. Honestly, this guy is a joke and a smart guy as Vivek knows it
He disagrees with Vivek about Trump being the best choice. This is not the primary season. There are only two at this point. Lex gives the nevertrumper vibes... No TDS, just very sophisticated "meh i still don't like him"
Lex is too smart and too in the middle politically to jump on the personality cult MAGA has become. And a slimey opportunist like this guy is not going to change his mind.
Good luck making a deal with the devil to get what you want. How can that possibly go wrong? If it wasnt for Democrat lawmakers and lawyers prepping max for the next Trump assault on democracy things would end a lot worse than last election where he tried to steal an election unsucessfully. It might not end up in full dictatorship but it sure wouldt be pretty.
Trumps weakness, regardless of how much is the media’s fault, is how much people hate him and will vote against him. Kamala should be the lowest rated presidencial candidate in recorded history, but she’s slightly edging Trump out atm 😅 And I’ve been pro Trump since he made his opening speech in 2015
The conservatives have gone through one devastating loss after another on the local, state and national level for five years now. Same will happen again in 2024. The country changed a lot in the last 10 years alone. It's very progressive and very diverse. Independents, young people and suburban women won't break for Trump in the general. Most Americans lean left on social issues, LGBTQIA+ stuff (yes, including the T rights), abbrtion, climate, health care, etc. The center gets farther left all the time. What was extreme a few years ago is moderate today. GOP needs to move left or it's game over for them by 2040.

Using Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter as an example of cutting bureaucracy is absurd. He bought the company for $44 billion, and now its value has plummeted to $4 billion. It’s hard to see how that qualifies as a success. People are ignoring the reality: Musk's approach of slashing staff and resources has led to a loss of advertisers, decreased platform stability, and a chaotic rebranding to X. Believing that firing most employees and having a skeleton crew run everything is somehow efficient shows a complete misunderstanding of both business and how complex systems-like the government-function.
That is the question I always ask myself. Lex and others are so focused on embellishing the minor annoyances about Trump that they overlook the MAJOR atrocities that Kamala and Biden have been committing. The blood on their hands from how they pulled out of Afghanistan, the allowance of terrorists and Chinese spies coming freely through our open border which will end in a terrible attack according to the intelligence community.... that is serious blood on their hands. Trump doesn't have that level of evil labeled on him no matter how people want to make him seem that way.
@@Flying_Lexus Kamala is many times better than Trump. Smarter as well. It was on display in the last debate. She was baiting him left and right and like a child he fell for it every single time.

Lex, I really don't think you're fully aware of how much Trump is a better choice over Kamala. You're too stuck on non-important attributes about Trump's vocabulary.
Exactly. People get pedantic and caught up on his vernacular (while ignoring their own lack of eloquence), and completely miss Trump's vision and acumen entirely.
What policy does Trump have that will benefit lower / middle class more than the top 1%? Trumps only achievement in term 1 was tax cuts for the rich and skyrocketing the national debt.
I have gotten a lot of positives out of Lex's views and this is not one of them. DJT was put in an unfair position in 2016 right from the get go. This time around he's still going to face a lot of push back, however he will have more people as well as certain laws on his side. We are a broken country and like Vivek said it's going to take time but DJT is going to have momentum going in this time around.
If Lex's issue was DT didn't do enough what do you think the other side did or is about to do if given another four years. He's intelligent but not that intelligent.
@@eli_the_crypto_guy I'm going say first off, you are spot on. If they get another 4 yrs with Harris, this is what happens. The swing states will no longer be swing states because all the illegals that they assisted in flooding our country and placed strategically will turn those swing states BLUE, also they will pack SCOTUS so they can be in complete control. Sad thing is, if you listen to certain people on the left they have already said the same about these 2 topics. I thought Lex was smarter than that, 🤔 guess not.
Is there anyone more responsible for the position DJT was in than DJT himself? When show up at a house party, step on the cat, spill grandma's urn and then blame everyone else for getting kicked out.
No he just says amazingly ignorant things for an Ivy league grad. For example, the agencies are allegedly breaking law , but the Supreme Court case he relies on , Chevron to explain this , just came down. So it was law that didn’t previously exist . So they weren’t breaking it. It’s been interpreted recently by SCOTUS and now they need to follow the current binding interpretation. But this sleeze ball twists the normal conventional perspective that once new law comes down the agency must adjust, to , once new law comes down the agency has been breaking law . Lololol . And there are people dumb enough in the room to buy this narrative .

*Lex disagrees...??* 🤔 No disrespect, but Lex is neither intellectually or politically informed and insightful enough, to be on any level close to Vivek.. nor is he astute enough or articulate enough to debate Vivek on ANY serious, social-political issues! Lex is simply banal; a social media podcaster with a deadpan demeanor, who's typically serious & detached and wears a black suit, white shirt & tie (per usual) and offers clinical interviews, with interesting people! He should stick to a well prepared script & let his guest's inform & educate! I just hope he didn't title this video.. as that would be too cringeworthy! 🤦
Republicans instantly turn into snowflakes when someone disagrees with them 😂. Actually hilarious. Keep typing. Are you hurt? Holy crap new ideas, I hate this guy now! Hahaha
"I did nothing wrong except win an election in 2016 that I wasn't expected to win, did even better in 2020 and now lead by allot in 2024." ~Donald Trump, 2024
I never got the Lex hype! The guy clearly has issues with Trump but can never explain what they are and how he came to his conclusions. Seen this with multiple guests now.
Did you not watch the Trump interview Lex did? His issues were pretty self explanatory throughout the entire interview. Trump being Trump saying & doing Trump things is pretty unbearable lol. His narcissism shines through like a watchtower searchlight. I actually enjoyed the Theo von Trump interview cause it really showed how he’s not a fascist dictator the left wants him to be, instead you can clearly see he is just a fucking dweeb who is very full of himself.
What's crazy is that we have billionaires talking about wanting to deregulate everything and people are saying that's a good thing. Whether the people in charge are benevolent or not is meaningless, people change and power switches hands.

Vivek is great. I liked him from the start when he appeared in the Republican primaries. He's articulate, does his homework on the issues and cases, is level-headed, and looks for common ground with detractors. Lex has some good questions here, but he clearly doesn't know the depth and detail like Vivek does.

Regulation is, in part, why the US is a juggernaut. We have industry standards people can trust (BBB OSHA GDPR EEOC), food/drugs standards people can trust (FDA), roads that companies can reliably ship their products on (DoT), the best universities in the world (HEA). These regulatory guardrails are the reason why our businesses are so strong because American companies thrive off mental ingenuity and federal infrastructure unlike some other countries that rely on manual, manufacturing labor. The US' advantage is in its strategic regulations that promote fair and safe labor practices. Companies and talent from across the world come to America not because it's cheap, but because we have highly a educated workforce and the regulations to ensure their product is manufactured, assembled, shipped, and purchased according to a specific standard with federal backing.

I've lost several jobs in the private sector. Every last one in fact because I'm currently an unemployed software engineer. Every job I apply for now has dozens or hundreds of applicants. The economy in the real world sucks. It's about time these non-productive bureaucrats lost their unconstitutional gravy trains. I have no sympathy for them. I make no money, but still pay gas, sales, utility, and property taxes to pay for this bloated BS at all levels of government.
I only watch Lex when he has guests on of whom I like. He’s just a very boring person. Notice he doesn’t even know how to respond to Vivek or hold a conversation? AI could easily replace him.

I keep scouring the Constitution to find what it says about air travel and airlines to no avail. I guess they can’t be regulated.
I guess Lex likes the current wars and insane spending from the democrats in power atm. Donald Trump had a much better foreign policy when he was in office
No questions about ükraine logistics, tearing families apart there.. or our “ideals”.

Tearing families apart, get a tissue 🐈 lol
Title should be “Lex disagrees with Vivek about the over-expansion of government”.
Not really, it's basic confrontation with reality - Lex is exposing a propaganda point that has no grounds in reality because Trump was there, and didn't do anything.
And now you think that Trump, being older, with less cognitive capacity, will somehow do it.
6:38 He disagrees that Trump is the "last and best hope" for America, that he's the best person to do the job (of dismantling the bureaucratic class).

Street smarts is not the right word here. His sense of logic is flawed and his political views are based on his incorrect perception of society.

Lex is wrong! Trust me bro!
One of the biggest reason for voting Trump is that Vivek will likely be a part of his cabinet
And RFK and Tulsi. The choice is obvious

Trump 2024 then he requires to build a good team to have his back. Vivek is the man that needs to be there. He is no bootlicker.

He disagrees with Vivek about Trump being the best choice. This is not the primary season. There are only two at this point.
Lex gives the nevertrumper vibes... No TDS, just very sophisticated "meh i still don't like him"

The prideful elites (those who detach from grassroots) mostly cannot accept Trump because don't they have heart for ordinary people.
Kamala should be the lowest rated presidencial candidate in recorded history, but she’s slightly edging Trump out atm 😅
And I’ve been pro Trump since he made his opening speech in 2015
I keep giving lex a chance and he just keeps disappointing. Just empty

Lex seems to have fallen for charlatans like Bernie Sanders. Unfortunately, it's really common with people from STEM.

@@ibah6 if you think Elon Musk buying Twitter and proving to everyone what many of us had expected, that our tax payer funded intelligence agencies are tipping propaganda in favor of one political party, does not prove that our bureaucracy needs to be cut down, then your opinions my friend are a product of propaganda.

Lex.... stop interviewing politicians. It's not your strength
What is his strength?
I guess tech because he constantly mentions his MIT stuff, and even in tech he asks the most amateur questions to geniuses like "What's your favorite IDE?" and my guess is he wants to seem like a veteran in the subject mentioning VIM and Python, show off his weird keyboard and mouse like that makes you some how a better coder. And he wants to seem deep asking people "what's the meaning of life?". Come on.
Kamala or Trump/Vivek/Rfk/Elon/Tulsi
God is literally giving us a fire choice rn and I'm not even that much of a Trump fan even though he's better than Kamala
Vivek i want u to be President in 2028, you are our best bet
And democrats approve of this message! They hope and pray he becomes the nominee.
Some times, lex is wrong
I really enjoy Lex episodes with scientists and research experts. These political ones are always a waste of time. These guests just talk outta pocket like they would on tv without a grounding in facts to check what theyre rambling about.
The ticket that has Vivek/RFK JR/TULSI/BEN CARSON/ELON is the one to stand behind.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
All grifters unite!
What a nightmare scenario
Lex? 🙄🤡🤣
Vivek is one of the brightest minds we have in America.
It’s possible that Lex doesn’t want the “He supported Trump” curse!
If the government is protecting private property rights then it should limit the ability of companies like blackrock to buy up property as capital for profit. Before the government prioritizes private property rights the way vivik wants it should accessable for the average citizen to attain private property. I dont know if he sees this point since hes rich and doesnt need to
Vivek Ramaswamy is awesome 👏
He's a George soros paid, big pharma stooge who thinks govt is there to serve the elites and not the people. Sure awesome 😂
I want Vivek so much as president, this guy is like trump, but doesnt go off on tangents like trump
Vive doesn't have enough money to do it without becoming beholden to too many private interests. Maybe after Trump and company can get rid of much of the corruption in our current system.? I also admire him a lot.
Lex is a Harris simp…. I always thought he had a little soft side to him that he covers up with the jitz talk and Tarantino black suit. He is also simple enough to take every word literally so you need to really be careful or you lose him
It's easy to take apart, but to build it's much harder.
I think lex did a good job letting Vivek be what he is; a freakin solid person that is much needed right now.
Close your eyes and listen to this clip. Viveks intense intelligence and superb articulateness make Lex 's intelligence so insignificant!
Why do we have to close our eyes?

How come no other country gets criticized for their border policies? The U.S. is the only country that legally takes in over 1 million legal immigrants a year and the only country that allows services like education and health care to go directly to people illegally in the country. You have to have a passport, tourist or working visa to enter any country in the World and all of them will immediately fine, imprison, and deport you if you are caught. The U.S. is the most lenient on immigration and has been for decades but gets the most crap for being "mean". We have undocumented people in our universities, you can't do that in Canada or anywhere else.
we wouldn't have to tear any family apart had people just migrated the proper intended way. you want someone to blame then blame and punish the people who allowed such nonsense to take place to begin with. and we need to stop teaching kids that borders are not important and need to go because none of them understand why they are even so important in the first place whenever you ask someone why we even have them they usually respond with governments keep borders to keep us divided and fighting among each other and that it...they don't even know the benefits it gives before taking such a drastic action as that which would eventually cause usa to cease as we know it and i promise whatever comes and takes its place won't be any better if they have it there way it will be far far far far far far worse
You can say the exact same thing about any law. It’s a nice idea but completely ignores the fact that crimes will always be committed. Always have. In every corner of the globe. Throughout history. Problems need practical solutions, not ideological and completely unrealistic ones.
1.25x speed, and they sound normal
Kamala is a horrible choice for any office if you love America. Voting for her is like national suicide. I agree Trump isn't the choice I would have made. Vivek was my first choice. He is exactly what we needed but Trump is the nominee and no matter how much I can't stand thw man's narcissism he is a hundred times better than Kamala. We're not supposed to vote for personality we're supposed to be voting for the future of our nation.
Blah blah blah
Why?
Thank you for loving America more than you hate Trump. That is what will save our country from globalist Marxist Socialist agenda. The erosion of American sovereignty, culture, and economy is happening right now. Globalist policies push open borders, erode national identity, and redistribute wealth under the guise of progressiveness. We see it in rising taxes, uncontrolled immigration, and policies that benefit non-citizens at the expense of those who’ve paid into the system. These changes are reshaping our nation under three key pillars: Economic Redistribution, Cultural Erosion, and Loss of Sovereignty.
These forces combine to weaken constitutional protections and dilute the values that once made the U.S. strong. We’re watching the transformation happen in real time. If we don’t address these shifts, the country we know will be unrecognizable.
No facts or evidence?
Trump appointed former top lobbyist, and president, of Eli Lilly to secretary of the HHS just before Covid happened.
“Prices for drugs rose substantially under Azar's leadership, including the tripling of the cost of the company's top-selling insulin drug. Also under Azar's watch, Eli Lilly was one of three companies accused in a class-action lawsuit of exploiting the drug pricing system to increase profits for insulin. Eli Lilly was also fined in Mexico for colluding on the price of insulin”
He did not even attempt to “drain the swamp”. He kept right on installing Corporate executives to run the agencies that are supposed to be regulating them. Just like they all do. You will not vote your way out of this.
Anyone that makes it to that debate stage is part of the club. Always has been. Always will be.
All the bickering and mud-slinging between “right vs left” is no more than a scripted reality TV show to keep people in their herd mentality of “my team is going to beat your team. Ever believing “this time it will be different”. It never is.
“Better of two evils” is not democracy and we should stop teaching our kids that we live in one.

@@ibah6 spammer ... the success is freedom of speech against absurd arguments for censorship that show a complete misunderstanding of American values
@@LarvalTear But it's a private platform so it has nothing to do with freedom of speech, and the value is plummeting precisely because so many companies are self-censoring off of it, because of the hate, vitriol, and misinformation - so again it's a bad example and a huge failure in both an economic and ideological sense.
Vivek 2028!
I feel that Lex has too much faith in our government. He has to see through the crap and understand how deep the swamp is. Trump has the strength to clean it up if he has enough people supporting him. Lex needs to wake up.
Lex got ratiod on his own channel. Viewers unanimously believe that Vivek is smarter than Lex.

The money saved from ending useless programs, and free funding for illegals would pay to get them back where they belong. I'd also dare say that with the current administrations misplacing of 300000 children currently during this mess is catastrophic compared to the short term vetting and responsible measures that should be absolutely paramount during the process of immigration illegal or legal, or in the deportation process. To ensure these kids are actually going with their families.. no one they should have never tossed their identity to gamble on illegal immigration.

Paying people to not work is inflationary.
Billionaire tax cuts, Chip wars, stimulus checks, shutdowns were all things that kickstarted inflation.
