It's amazing how this video captures my last memories with my grandpa. His name was Angel, he taught me a thousand times to play cards, he played with me, he gave me candy behind my mother's back, we went for walks imagining adventures and he taught me boxing. He had a special affection for the virgin Mary, he smoked like a locomotive and talked with me like an old friend, even though I was only 6 years old. In the end he always had to lie down or sit down, every afternoon I would go to his bed and we would watch cartoons together. Our last project, a kite, was left unfinished when he went to the hospital and never came back. All that remained were the reeds, the yellow paper, the thread and the little bows for the tail that we made together. I waited for him sitting on his bed several afternoons until I accepted that he would never come back, although I kept the hope of seeing his playful smile again. The only difference between this video and my memories is that my grandfather had a big dark pompadour and a thick mustache. I had the same haircut as the girl in the video. UA-cam recommended it to me and now I'm hiding my tears at work. I just wanted to listen to something while I worked, but I'm glad I was surprised with the memory of my abuelito.

1) The girl in the video is Laura Lee
2)In January 2018, Khruangbin released their second album, Con Todo El Mundo.The title of the album came from Laura Lee's Mexican-American grandfather, who would often ask, "How do you love me?" ("¿cómo me quieres?") and would only accept one response, "Con todo el mundo," or in Spanish, "with all the world."
3)When asked to play their first gig, Laura Lee, who was learning to speak Thai at the time, decided they should use her favorite Thai word "khruangbin", (เครื่องบิน) which means "flying engine" or "aeroplane", as their name.
I thought the characters might be Mexican but the grandfather definitely used a Japanese hand gesture to call the girl over.

This song reminds me of my Uncle Bobby. He came back home to my grandma's after being diagnosed with Cancer. He said the Doctor told him he had 6 months. He used to wake me up in the morning to a rolled joint. He made it about 3 months. I came home from working at UPS one night and saw him sitting up in his bed just like in the animation. I said "Hey Unc!" He was in full gaze but unresponsive. He was already leaving. He was my Dad's oldest brother, a real Cool dude!

I randomly clicked on this song, scrolled down just to see the comments and yours was the first I read. They called my dad Bobby too. They had given him 3 months to live, I was with him every day. I came home one day as well and he was in full gaze and unresponsive, I held his hand to his last heartbeat. ❤️

When the scene ended and it was just her on the bed it made me sad, the grand dad was gone, only memories are left now, i have no memories of any grand dads or moms, they all died before i was born except the last granny who died when i was 6, i saw her very less and i have no memories with her, dont remember her, i wish i saw my grand dad, he was a nice man, i never wished to meet a dead person
lost my grandpa last year december...couldnt be there at his final minutes..sometimes it feels so hollow when I look at his room.. cant tell u in words..such an empty abyss inside I feel like everything is useless..my life, work that Im supposed to do...what good does it make if u cant be there for ur beloved ones...

When my grandmom died of cancer I was drowning my sorrow with drugs and couldn't see her because I was high all the time. I was so selfish. After a year I was in the army and mu grandad got cancer too. I cried every night in my bunk because I couldn't be there for him either. He died before I got to say how much I loved him.

My grandpa once told me he would take me to his ranch deep in Guanajuato Mexico. He developed Alzheimer really fast and his health deteriorated really fast. He died two months ago, I held his hand before he died and prayed for him. We couldn’t burry him on his home state in Mexico. But I’m planing to go to his ranch one day with my mom to visit my family and enjoy homegrown chicken eggs and handmade tortillas like how he use to tell me.

My grandfather passed away two days ago and I feel immense pain watching this music video. Our relationship is explicitly depicted here and it hits close to home. It’s bittersweet and I’m eternally grateful for the connection we both shared.

I remember when my dad passed away this song popped up on my recommendations and it brought me so much peace because my dad loves music and he played guitar and he used to say something similar except he’d say “quien te quiere” and id respond with “tu” and it kinda felt like he was telling me this and how this video is pretty much is accurate

This song does not correspond with death or loss in me, quite the contrary I feel love & tenderness. Light sadness and nostalgia of better days both help to stay alive and move forward.
Without ever hearing anyone's opinions, I thought of death listening to this and a couple other songs. Like its music for my funeral. But to see people saying the same things in the comments is scary.
For me tho, its like death and life in the same song, like feelings of bittersweetness in the stratosphere of bliss. I almost thought this was some mk ultra music.
