This song is beautiful, hits me right in the feels and puts a tearful smile on my face. It makes me think of my son... I lost him at the age of 19 in 2019. It's a beautiful tune that helps me imagine him going about his day... enjoying his life... wherever he is. Daddio misses and loves you mi hito.

Me too!! One day in December 2023, a video of theirs popped up on my YT feed…and I became an instant fan! Also playing catch up, with their music. Love the absolute vibe and groove of their music. Didn’t know a new album was coming so soon, but can’t wait to buy it, and get lost in it.

I really do not get why so much of the music industry is hell bent on selling the only thing that really matters for a flash of blink and you missed it "fame." I'd rather make art and music that is honest and that has integrity even though it might not reach many ears and eyes. I'd say this band, 53 Thieves, and Tracey Chapman, and James Blake are honest and have integrity in all that they make. I'm sure there are others but these are my top picks.
I had only just smoked one of Jamaicas finest Bob Marleys, I lays back on my bed and sees Khurangbins' new track available for play, so I presses play and I was instantly captivated, and by the end of this beautiful piece, I had streams of water and a rather large wet patch on my chest/heart area from where all the tears had been embracing one another - I don't cry that often so when I do, I really do cry. It's amazing what a bands music can do to you and you don't even realise it until it has happened. I really do love this band!!!! They are one of life's greatest gifts. One love from the UK x

I found Khraungbin in 2019 after a tornado had destroyed my house. I was in a temporary home and the pandemic eas full on.
I had ordered some pre-amp tubes for my Soldano Hot Rod 50..the tubes were wrapped in a newspaper article on Khraungbin.
After reading the article i immediately ordered "The Universe Smiles Upon You."
That's some real serendipity! Makes me wonder if the person who sent them to you knew exactly what they were doing

1st band i saw post pandemic. I discovered them 2mo. into lockdown and all the concert videos online helped me get through that shit show and stay sane and eager to get back out and for LIVE FREEKIN MUSIC... was so jacked to see them a year ago last Nov, I got tix for 2 shows in 3 days 1st show took my sister for her Bday we were up in the audience, 2nd, I went alone, up front, in the pit & they killed it both shows.

I've said it before I'll say it again. Discovering Khruangbin during the pandemic made life a little bit easier and got me through some pretty tough times later on, it's as if their music has some kind of healing powers lol.
