Guile was the first character i picked in sf2 in 92. Lost that match, but i been playing him competitively ever since. Love him in ST. This version i think is even more fun to play than in 5. Great video man

My journey with Guile started back in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. I was so proud of myself when I figured out how to do my first sonic boom. While I'm sad that Dudley isn't in the main roster (and hasn't been announced for a season pack yet), I've been loving that classic guile gameplay
negative charge 1:33 hold low punch while simultaneously holding back (don't let go of punch), Press Forward , Now release low punch. You can even squeeze in a step forward before sonic boom release then it comes out red and yells perfect.
Excellent video. Guile is my favorite character. His combos do some very good damage without using drive rush. Some issues I have with him is his crouch mk has horrible recovery and they took away his dive Sonic. And his hitbox is the size of zangiefs. Awesome character though.
A longer guide would be awesome! Something I struggle with is the timing of specials. I feel like many of Guile’s cancels are a bit delayed vs Shoto characters.
Does anyone know the frame data for burn straight to flash kick? (MP> HP> FK) I can’t land it consistently but my inputs and timing are pretty damn close back to back.
Stucked at his combo trial - Stand M - Down MP, MP cancel to OD sonic boom - HK Summersault I missed the last part, feel like not enough charging time for HK Summersault. Any tips? Thanks.
Started learn him today, damn charges is pain for now, but I'm to much motivated to learn him to fuxk Kens. I have decent experience in fighting games 2000hrs total mk9, mkx (most), mk11, Tekken 7. But this my first SF (100 hrs, diamond 1), kinda hard to do with charges.
That's backward HP on the target combo, look at the animation. Might be self explanatory but I have as a newb at times tried to do combos the hard way(wrong way) so I think it'd be better to let people know on the actual text that it's supposed to be backwards. Or maybe pin a correct comment.

I’ve only had SF6 for about 2weeks now and haven’t played since the ss3 days. These tutorials help out a huge amount. Great video.
Guile has always been my Main. So the refresher is welcomed. Looks like am going have to practice a lot .

Parrying at full screen and at mid range his pokes are horrible against DI, don't abuse that too much tho you can be baited if spaced correctly

If im in the air and start holding down back, will I start building charge or will it only start building when I hit the ground?
