    I hit Diamond with Guile last night thanks to applying what I learned in your first guide (for comparison, I couldn't get past Super Silver in SFV).
    Plat 5 > Diamond was a grind, it felt like my Guile had reached a plateau and that I'd run out of ideas. After last night I knew if I really wanted to make a push for Master rank, then I need to return to the lab and learn the more advanced tech, but I wasn't really sure where to start. Then I got the notification you'd dropped this video, absolutely perfect timing.

    Everyone acts like Guile is so easy and way too strong but wtf these combos are ridiculously hard, and Ken & JP seem to be in more tournament finals than Guile.... He seems kind of hard to play tbh

      People that he is easy need to actually play him cause charging itself is a mental stack

      As a guile user, currently stuck in plat 4, i can safely say hes so hard to use. Iv always used cammy in previous games since sf2 turbo. This time really wanted to give a charge character a go. This guys acting like these combos are easy to use lol. I can tell u now doing multiple booms in a combo is so dam hard i cant do it at all.

      @@joelh90 boom loops are hella hard. Idk if I'd even get them off in a match. I can hardly do them in practice. I play on controller I bet they are a lot easier with a hitbox

    fantastic guide, but worth mentioning at 3:47 that there is an extended combo works in the corner. Add a bHP boom before the HK if you are like me and auto pilot DRC into the fMK sometimes 😅(fMK > stMP > crMP x L. boom > bHP x pL. boom > HK x lvl3)

    Great video man! The first one and this one gave me some really useful information (same was with the Ryu series). I've been messing around with Güilè in the training room for a while now and I really love the character. The thing is that I'm still caca with Ryu so my "efforts" during my play sessions are directed towards him. I hope one day I'll get proficient enough with Ryu so that I can comfortably learn and be good with another character/s too. Thank you for the information!

    Nice guide. I was getting a lot of opportunities to damage, but I wasn't maximizing them. This tutorial is really nice. I'll put it to use in practice tonight :)

    can you do a video or explain how to get that ending flash kick after the standing medium punch into heavy punch, can't seem to ever get enough charge to execute it

    Thank you so much ! I main guile, I love his defensive style and all his tools. For now I'm struggling to input correctly his level 1 and 3. I play with ps5 controller and D Pad and I dont know. Its a bit difficult to put everything right :(

    Great content! I've been striving to become a Guile main and your two videos have been a blessing. I just had a couple questions:
    1. In the first two combos in the "Corner Drive Rush Combos" section, since the first one does more damage (I think), would there be a reason to do the second combo over the former? Is it a kinda like whatever comes to mind during a particular situation?
    2. In "Advanced Drive Rush Combo" I noticed that when I go for b.HK, characters like Gief and Marisa I am only +12 instead of +13. I could be wrong about this and executing incorrectly, but I found that against Ryu and Lily (I'm sure there are more but yet to check) that I will be +13 when hit. Is this an execution error or has to do with character difference? I am new to SF, so not sure how these interactions work.
    4. Following enchanced slow booms, do you want to hit the opponent after the boom lands?
    3. Not relating to the video but to Guile, how long did it take for you to get consistent at s.MP -> c.MP -> FK and s.MP-b.HP TC -> FK? I've been drilling these two for several weeks now and find that I can get it most of the time, but have dropped the target-combo in particular as the timing feels different from s.MP -> c.MP.
    4. Another Guile question, when in neutral, how do you maintain spacing while ensuring that you have charge? I've been told Guile has the best pokes in the game and from a video that Daigo posted (SFV), Guile has strong normals when standing, so I feel that I should be more confident rather than empty-handed without charge. However, I am not at that skill level yet!

    Hey, I'm new to the channel. I've been looking for a comprehensive Guile guide. I need someone that not only just shows the combos, but explains how to use them in great detail. Would it be possible to create a more extensive and longer guide on Guile. I've used Guile since SFV, Sagat was my main in SFV, but Guile was my alternate character. However in sf6, he is my main. This is really useful information. Do you have a guide on how to execute Guile's supers more. Like, how long should you hold the charge before you can finish the inputs.

    I’m having a hard time in neutral finding a way to go into my brb combos from drive rush any help? Or wat buttons I can look to confirm and cancel in to drive rush.

      Back hard punch is a good button to use to cancel into drive rush. You can also do DR to crMK and confirm from there.

      Yea but throwing a back hard punch all game hoping it hits can be risky. An I always get hit out of raw dr.. do u usually have to dr behind a boom to not get caught?

      Press down back right after the stMP to get the charge. Also, holding back MP and moving to downback right after helps too

    Any tips for getting a perfect boom from cancels? I can do it raw 9 out of 10 times but physically cannot get a perfect if I’m cancelling from cr mp

    These are sick combos, but getting those perfect booms in the corner loops consistently is killing me 😭

    How do you connect the drive rush-stMP-stMP-crMP-flash kick? I can’t seem to get enough charge to connect the flask kick.

      That last punch isn’t st mp that hp! That’s part of the target combo ..if you want to hit the flash kick from the target combo,You have to hit down back immediately after you see the mp come out .But make sure you finish the whole target combo ,after you see the hp come out do the flash kick .Don’t try to do it in one shot like Mach all 3 moves like a regular block string combo it won’t work .

    I’m fairly new to SF and I have the hardest time doing the flash kick to end the combo. I can only land it once in a blue moon. I’m plat 2 and playing on stick. Any advice on what I could do better?

      If you're starting from a jump attack, start holding down or down back before you land. That way you'll have enough charge and will continue to charge when you do your crouching attack to flash kick.       I realized you need to delay the flash kick at the end I literally feel so stupid and just wasted so much time

      I personally haven’t seriously tried modern guile. You still have to maintain charge though so I don’t really see an increased benefit versus shotos who can do assisted DPs.

      i'll give my 2 cents after playing M-Guile a few times
      5HP is one of the big losses in his kit, so some combos on classic that involve it you can't do. along with 6MP, 6HK, and 3HK command normals are unavailable
      His Auto L script does the 2LK > 2LP > 5LK > [2]8HK combo which is hard as is on classic, but on Modern its free damage for 1650 with 0 effort and charge necessary
      Auto M (2MP~2MP) and H (5MP~4HP) does their target combos respectively. allowing you to easily hold charge (e.g. AH -> AH -> [2]8HK all while holding 2 the entire time)
      regarding the S button: holding charge and pressing will give you the non perfect versions of their specials, so you still have do the proper charge inputs for the perfect versions (any L M H)
