When the Sega Dreamcast released back in the days I loved playing Virtua Tennis 2 (arcade like controls, easy to learn, hard to master against good players). Recently I bought AO Tennis 2 on the PS5 to get back into sports/tennis games. It feels more like a mixed arcade/simulation compared to Virtua Tennis 2 and I still need to get the hang of it. Now I'm wondering if I should buy Top Spin 2K25 and what makes it the better game compared to AO Tennis 2? Similarities/differences?

they need to speed up AI serving, otherwise looks good
The ball speed seems slow in all the videos I have seen so far. That unfortunately makes it less realistic in watching and feel of game.
rally speed in the previous vid looks very good tbh, not far from reality. Serving is still a bit weak... but ball speed seems fine to me when played well

A mi la velocidad de pelota me parece buena, esta en un punto medio. Creo que varios se olvidan que es un juego arcade no un simulador, si quieren jugar un simulador esta el tennis simulator.
@@miguelr.5939 de hecho top spin siempre se caracterizó por intentar simular el tenis, mientras que Virtua Tennis era el arcade. El problema es que a diferencia del Fútbol, Básket, Golf, etc. El tenis es el deporte más difícil del mundo a la hora de replicar digitalmente. Hay demasiadas variantes, estilos, velocidades, condiciones de juego y físicas que tal vez jamás puedan plasmarse al 100% en un juego/simulador de tenis.

Forget the serve the character does not even have the correct motion cap,that does not matter to hardcore tennis fans.What matters is the gameplay and that is good,this game is the best tennis on console.Pre ordered.
@@time2shinex707 si c'est important le jeux sort 13 ans après on besoin des animations propres à eux sinon se son des simples skins fabriqué avec les nom des joueurs pour on t-il mis à Federer, Serena, medvedev c'est parce que les.gens.veulent retrouver le style de chaque dans cas on prend tous un même personnage avec les même gestes.
