Norfolk Southern 4337 Leading 9863 and 1831 LEF&C Lake Erie Franklin Clarion Box Car Cool Find 2023

A mixed lash up of locomotives! NS 4337 (GE AC44C6M rebuilt from engine #9022) point leading the pack. Locomotives 9863 (GE C40-9W) and 1831 (EMD SD70ACC) as DPU.
Interesting to see a LEF&C (Lake Erie, Frankling & Clarion) box car at 0:48 into the video. Also a couple of DM&E (Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern) Hopper cars later on.
Filmed on November 8th, 2023 on the former Pennsylvania Railroad Line, now the NS Pittsburgh Main Line. Jeannette Pennsylvania.

Nice catch there, I see a few LEF&C hoppers that W&LE hauls coke in. This was a great spot, I’m sure you feel the wind from them going by🌬️. Great catch👍🏼😎🇺🇸

I’m amazed to see that old iron is still bringing in revenue for the railroad. It’s interesting seeing the different companies that used to be around.
This is probably my favorite spot to railfan. But it’s unfortunately in a not so good area so I don’t go there as much as I’d like to.
