Hello my friend! I thought you’d appreciate this one 🤣 No they are not litter mates. They just do this to each other DAILY! Once one starts neither one of them can stop. We actually had to have a full teeth extraction on that calico. When we found her she was in such bad shape her teeth were all rotted and broke -either from gum disease or poor nutrition? She is now a hefty weight and very healthy and happy!! The saddleback we found had a severely infected leg wound and would only walk on 3 legs until we got him cleaned up and healed. Now they are best buddies 😻

It was bad but it also got flipped over the previously night which I think might have messed up the roll cage and led it to a complete failure after this hit. Thanks for watching!

I have driven by this facility multiple times but never stopped by. Perhaps the next time I drive through Jeannette I'll make a stop.

Man you wouldn’t believe it the train gods were looking out for me again!! I was heading through the intersection at the Giant Eagle West Newton and saw them lights start to flash! Wish I would have gotten my phone out a bit earlier but I panicked and fumbled it around for a few seconds and got what I could! I sat for 2 hours on the NS line yesterday and got NOTHING so it was nice to catch this one. I’m telling you it’s like fishing the best catches are when you least expect it! This was at 6:14 this morning heading towards the Connellsville station. Thanks for watching!

Hey thanks brother! Mixed freight are my favorites also! This is down grade so yes they really pick up some speed here! I’ve had my hat blown off a few times. Nope no scanner yet. If I have some extra time or I’m in the area I will just go, sit and wait and hope for the best. You know how it is. It’s kind of like fishing, I don’t want to know I’m gonna catch a fish in 5 minutes I want it to be u expected with an adrenaline rush!! Same with a train, it’s that much funner when it hits out of nowhere! Thanks for stopping by hope you have a good one!

I’m amazed to see that old iron is still bringing in revenue for the railroad. It’s interesting seeing the different companies that used to be around. This is probably my favorite spot to railfan. Love the dash 9s and also love them EMDS….I think the EMDS look like what a train should look like….the nose is aggressive and I enjoy the roar as they pass! Now I wanna go sit on a line somewhere but got too much other stuff to do! 🤣

@@lookingback6314 😂 why thank you, it’s just something I am very deeply passionate about, especially the locomotives. I’m a carpenter by trade but I’ve often thought about working for the RR. The money is exceptionally good but you literally don’t have much of a life, you travel a lot and are away from home quite a bit. I think the divorce rate for RR workers is something like 85%😂

Yeah, I’ve been down that road and done all the research also. Heard they play a lot of games with layoffs, non ot pay, expect you to be in call nearly every day of the year and want you there within 1 hour of them calling you. But to think of the sights you would see that nearly nobody else ever does and the stories you’d have to tell….If they was normal to work for it would’ve a dream job!

Yeah those containers are huge when you see them up close in person-especially the 53s! I can’t imagine what kind of stuff is being shipped in them. Yeah I think you are right about that-good catch. This was in February 2024. Fall and winter are my favorite time to film. Better lines of sight and the horn can REALLY echo in the river valley. Thanks for watching hope you are having a great weekend!

Yes next video has all mill brands and specs on it. This is historically the uphill line of the tracks where engines struggle to get up the grade….it doesn’t look like it but it is steep. Have seen them stall out at this sight. Not sure if that put extra wear on the rails!?

Ugh! Been there…..sorry to hear that. You ever consider maybe getting a GoPro with hand held mount? You can get a hero 10 for about 150….an 11 for 250…12s are still high. I use an 11 on some vids. They are incredibly balanced and stable when filming (no shaking around or wobble even if you are moving). They have great sound and are perfect for walking videos or if you are moving a lot. If you ever have any questions about them I can help you out. The last 2 train videos I posted today are both with a GoPro.

1978 so it’s definitely been in use for quite some time. Wow 1967 that’s pretty cool, maybe a different formulation in the steel made one last longer than the other? 136lb rail I guessed correctly, brand new 2023. If you get anything clean save it for a demolition derby car!!! Run it yourself or I know lots of people looking for full size fords/lincolns/crown Vic’s/grand marquis/compacts/toyota/honda/wbody/GM even dodge durango/mini vans and Toyota mini vans worth. $$ to derby drivers.

I’d love to do a demo derby, last car I had that would’ve worked was a 95 Lincoln Town Car that my neighbor gave me for free, it had a 4.6L in it, run, drove, but the air bags for the rear suspension were blowed out, I was going to put Crown Vic or Grand Marquis rear coil springs in place of the air bags but I just ended up scrapping the thing

The ford Panther platform is in my opinion some of the greatest all time vehicles ever made. Those 4.6 engines can go 250,000 miles easy. Man that’s a shame it got scrapped 80s/90s and even up to 2011 ford full size products are the #1 modern car people are looking for. They go for good money if clean. 1960s imperials, 1970s GM products, clamshell wagons, full size Buicks and 1970s and pre Cadillacs are the most sought after but they are hard to find anymore and go for big bucks! Even the bumpers alone for some of those cars can go for $500 plus. It pays to know old car parts lotta money in that business. I think that would be my dream someday is to open a junkyard lol.

You know what else is weird about me is I enjoy those darn trash trains! It’s like getting to experience the stench of New York and New Jersey without ever leaving Westmoreland County! Kind of a free vacation if you close your eyes and take a good whiff! 🤣

I never liked tabby cats per say but my last cat Dusty was a tabby, had him 17yrs, the best cat I’ve ever had, sadly had to have him put down last year, that’s life though, it’s not always peaches and cream. I’d really like to get another kitten in the near future

I’m really sorry to hear that. He sounds like he was a great cat and brought lots of joy and memories to your life. I’ve lost a few myself and have been devastated by it. I gots cats that act like dogs-sometimes better. They’ve all been throw aways or showed up here lost with nobody ever coming to claim them. The ones you save never forget that. A few have take me over 2 years to break out of survival mode….but when they broke…wow. No better companion in the world in my opinion. 🐈‍⬛🐈😻

I saw that little overpass and thought that would be a sweet spot to get a train! I just didn’t have the time to sit for hours and wait it out….. I love these little hole in the wall river and railroad towns….they have so much heart and character. There are still some really nice houses around! Of course there are some that are too far gone, but those are kind of cool too! Call me weird I appreciate when things are nice but I also enjoy seeing the natural collapse and decay of what once was. Kind of a return to nature thing….🤷‍♂️ Thanks for watching!
