Experimenting with Aqua Cast & Metallic Gold Pigment Powder - Candle Set for Christmas

In today’s video I will be using Aqua Cast water activated casting compound from Elichem Resins together with gold pigment powder with three methods of application to make a candle and coaster set. This one was another experimental journey and I learnt a lot!

*sigh!* I am experiencing a very serious case of Product Envy, here, Louise! How I wish we could get Aqua Cast and Jesmonite in the US more easily. If we ever can, I have a LOT of plans for them! They are so much safer than resin, for kids to use, and my grands would get such a kick out of making things for others. 😊 These are wonderful casts, and I just love how they turned out! 😊❤

Aqua Cast seems like it would be an interesting and a bit safer creative product. No noxious fumes is a huge improvement. Even wearing a respirator mask (the same type worn in plants that manufacture oil-based Marine paint), I deal with migraines. Thank you for sharing your journey.

Hi Monica, that’s a really good question I can’t actually give you an accurate answer because although I haven’t noticed any problems I haven’t given it my full attention. I must look into it xx
