The BEST CANDIED YAMS you’ll ever taste 🤤🍠 | Simple & Easy steps

Hey y’all welcome back to my channel!! Watch me make these delicious candies yams on the stove. Some people say they break up too easily but it’s allll in the method you use!
See how I make them in this video following these simple steps.
Steps:
- Depending on how many sweet potatoes you have ( 15-20 min BEFORE FLIPPING TOP POTATOES for about 6 servings & 25-35 minutes BEFORE FLIPPING TOP POTATOES for about 8-10 servings . Cook on medium low heat
- After the first step, press top potatoes down into sauce to make sure the potatoes all have the deliciousness on them. Turn heat to low and let continue to simmer for 20-35 minutes. Low and slow is the name of the game. The sauce should be thick, bubbly and syrupy
- Once the top potatoes are good and syrupy( you’ll know of your potatoes are good when they start to get curvy edges)
- Turn off the heat and add that butter baby. Keep covered for as long as you can stand it !! But tryyy to keep covered for at least 10 min & ENJOY!
