The bad guys always look cooler. Nice to see someone had the correct idea of making a toyline of only villains.
I always leaned more towards villains as kid for that very reason. They almost always looked cooler. I never owned a single Luke Skywalker figure. But I sure had some Darth Vaders.
Fantastic! I heard of Blackstar, and we've chatted about the D&D figures, but Warlord surprised me! As big a comics guy as I am, I didn't know Travis Morgan was as ripped as He-man.
I only had the one figure from the line, but Crystar was a cool figure. In scale to Star Wars and GI Joe, he made an excellent Colossus, Rom the Space Knight, and other tall humanoids/original characters. He also had a great set of accessories - a sword, shield, and helmet. And all of it was cast in translucent plastic with red shorts and boots.
I hope this video gets mad views, especially with the Intellivision D&D commercial.
Well here's a question for you then. Did you read the Warlord comic? I was curious why he had white hair.
I remember the Crystar line well, though I didn't have many. But I really liked the orange rock looking guy. I played with him a lot. The crystal looking dragon. as well.
And I'm glad you dug the video. The numbers aren't looking good so far, but sometimes things pick up later. Folks just aren't ready for buff studly Draculas.
I still have a Blackstar Overlord figure somewhere, lost his sword eons ago sadly. Yeah I loved the toy lines with no backstory, you could make up your backstory to those toys.
That's awesome. Overlord was great. Had some mighty fine thigh muscles too. Not as big as MotU, but very cut.

This is true. Back then, the idea of collecting never even crossed my mind. It was all about the figures and the fun I had with them. Even now, I open and display nearly all of my toys. My collections are strictly for fun, never for investment.
@ AtomicSnackBar - same here. When comics became 'Collectables' in the 80s, it sucked a lot of the pure geeky fun out of them. Most of mine were so well read, they had very little monetary value. But I "enjoyed the heck out of them."
@@tonysantiago255 The comics boom of the early 90s brought in that whole speculation market and that really hurt thing in so many ways. But, we got some darn fine books out of it.
I don't even buy single issues anymore unless there is no other option. It's all trades for me, because I'm just there for the stories.

I really dig The Lost World Of The Warlord. I have been tempted to pick some of those up over the years. Of course for a steep price. We need more vampire warrior type figures.
I would love to see Blackstar make a comeback. I would go nuts collecting those if they came back.
Of course you know that I have quite a few of the Warrior Beasts as you pointed here.
I never did play the Digital Daredevil but I sure did love Excitebike back in the day.
Speaking of D&D, I will say it has been really nice seeing these characters make a return through the NECA line.

I hadn't even thought to look into The Warlord figures, to see what they are going for these days. Man, I wish Remco would just come back and start re-issuing all these.
It's been a long while since I did this video. Is that Zolo World still around and making Warrior Beasts still? You haven't mentioned them in a bit.
Speaking of Warduke, I got the new figure for Christmas this year and he is great. I plan to order the Elkhorn figure soon as well. They look killer next to my MotU figures. They share a shelf now.

@@AtomicSnackBar So I haven’t looked into the Warlord figures lately but when I was looking into the I was having a hard time finding them complete with all of their accessories, weapons and what not.
Speaking of Zolo World they have gotten to the point were they are only doing stuff for cons so that has been very frustrating.
Have you seen the newest Warduke figure? He is pretty cool.
The 80s was the decade for aliens, elves and wasteland heroes.

Pretty much the same here, though I didn't know there was a Road Warrior inspired post nuke toyline in the 80s until a few years ago.

@@TheCommonGardenTater1 Remco did that awesome Movieland Drive-In playset from the late 50s. You've probably seen that commercial here on the channel. I've used it a few times.
I had a lava dragon growing up, one of my favorites.
@@AtomicSnackBar Yep, I recall. I did live in the States for 8 years in the late 80's. My go to "Magic Land as a youngun, was "Hamleys, is a British multinational toy retailer, owned by Reliance Retail. Listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's oldest toy store, it was founded by William Hamley as "Noah's Ark" in High Holborn, London, in 1760.". If you get a chance, have a look, it's an amazing place that transported me to every TOY realm in the Universe. It's in Regent Street London, I could live there.
Holy memory block batman !!! I forgot all about the Other world toy line, I had the whole line. Used to buy them at Family Dollor and Kmart.
Oh man, that is awesome. They were such a great line. After I re-edited this video, I went on ebay and did some Sharkoss searching. Some fair prices. If I was sure I didn't have mine is storage still, I would consider grabbing one.
Man i wish those toys were around now.

Oh yeah, me too. I did an ebay search not long ago even.
Of these 5 series I only know of Advanced D&D. Our son got into the Heman and Thundercats series, He had every one of the figures, vehicles, and play-sets. He spent hours with them. I remember REMCO from the 50s and early 60s. I used to drool at all of their battery operated toys such as Robot Commando and The Fighting Lady. I never got to own any of them. Due to import duties, excise taxes and currency exchange rates their toys were prohibitively expensive; way beyond my parents budget. Still had fun with many other toys, Glad you had so much fun with the toys of your youth. It is great to be able to go back and remember the toys you played with and loved.
Remco is also behind one of my holy grail toys - The Movieland Drive-In Theater. I've used the trailer a few different times on the channel. But I just love that thing. Would really like to own one one of these days.
This episode was meant to kind of test the waters. See if folks at the Snack Bar are interested in toys. If it eventually picks up, the plan is to go back and cover 50s and 60s sci-fi toys.

@@AtomicSnackBar It is inside my wheelhouse. I have some old trading card sets and some toys. Also "re-pops" some things I had as a kid, Dinky cars, model kits, etc. Still have old games. I built re-pops of model kits from batman, Lost in Space, Voyage, etc. I also have a large CD collection of movie soundtracks and still have them on Vinyl. I like to go back and revisit my childhood days. So I vote in favour of your look back at old toys.

Most of these paired up really nicely with MotU, especially the Warrior Beasts. The Blackstar figures not so much. At least, not the heroes.

As a kid in the early 80s, one of my favourite sword and sorcery toy lines was The Saga of Crystar, by Remco. It was based on a short lived Marvel comic which I was really too young to get into at the time, but the figures were more than enough to catch my interest. Gorgeous translucent plastic, they looked almost candy-like, like a jolly rancher :p Crystar and Warbow ended up pulling double duty as Tron figures in my playtime as a kid (along with Adam Power from Powerlords. Their scales weren't compatible, but I was around 4 so that didn't bother me much).
I didn't have many Crystar figures, but I did have the dragon and Moltar. The dragon got a lot of play, though not nearly as much as the Moltar figure. And since I didn't really know anything about Crystar, Moltar was all kinds of different characters over the years.
Now Power Lords on the other hand, I had a bunch of. I loved my Arkus figure. But man, that guy was fragile.

It's been almost forty years, but I remember sitting in the living room floor putting together the Skeletor (sp)castle for a Christmas gift.
There are a few things we never forget in life. Putting together a large green skull castle is one of them.

Oh yeah, I can see that with Taskmaster. I was a Marvel person growing up, but I mainly lurked on the X-Men side of things.
Nice toys. My oldest was a baby in the 80s.
It was a truly great time for sword & sorcery. I was born in the late 70s, so I came in at just the right time for it all.

I thought that my calling was music, but my life evolved to contain not only music, but becoming a writer as well. You, good Sir, remind me of all the different directions life can take, as well as how important it is to enjoy every interest one can develop. Everything in life has a way of allowing us to become the highly complex beings we eventually become. I still have room for cheesy movies, fun toys, books, comics, art, and so much more! A life spent in seeking safety over fun, is a life half-lived. Explore every interest, but don't ignore those that you outgrow. Take life in big bites. Moderations is for monks... --Dan
@@danhollifield A mirror to my own experience. Music was my calling for many years. The first thing I ever wrote was a novella to accompany an album of instrumental music. Kind of a story and its soundtrack. Though in this case, the music came first. So I guess it would be a soundtrack and its story. Said story ended up becoming a two issue comic I self published.
But that, which was around '98, was how I became a writer.
I had Warlord, but this video blew my mind by reminding that Blackstar existed. I had the eponymous hero and a few others, but Lava Loc was my favorite. When I saw it in the thumbnail, my jaw dropped.
That is great to hear. One of my biggest joys with the channel is helping folks remember forgotten things from youth. Also nice to hear from another Lava Loc fan. I really hope mine is in decent condition in storage somewhere.

That was one of my most wanted toylines as a kid. And now, it's one of my most wanted revival toylines as an adult.
Cool toys and all a nostalgic blast from the past. Had some AD&D figures! Also had that zip line Spider-Man as well 😀

You have just brought me back to my childhood. I owned all the Warrior Beasts until my evil aunt came to clean out my bedroom and threw allot them away. They put all my Barbies through hell when I was young. 😂
Barbie vs the Warrior Beasts. Barbie did have the height advantage. And she could drive. But, she didn't rock nearly enough battle speedos.

Very cool video on a very cool subject matter! I love all of those lines. I must be more or less the same generation as you. I have a nearly perfect Warlord action figure by Remco that I kept in my permanent collection even after I sold all of my MotU on ebay. From the Blackstar line, I had the Klone figure, which I got at a fairground booth years after the line was sold in shops, probably 1987 or 1988. The Trobbits figures were still seen at Christmas markets in my town in Germany in the late 1980s.
Wow. A Klone figure from a fair. That's really neat. I'm not only a sword & sorcery buff, but also really into carnivals, fairs, and circuses. So that makes it even cooler.
I'm hoping my Mikola figure has survived in storage over the years. Heck, I'm hoping all of these have. I grabbed quite a few goodies for my 80s shelf last time I was in my hometown. Didn't see him, though.

So much fun... I was actually a few years out of my toy phase during this period; but I was working master control at a TV station that showed HE MAN and (gasp) GOBOTS. Yes, the TRANSFORMER'S poor cousins. I could do spot-on impressions of all the FILMATION voices, and I still rock an A+ Skeletor and Man-at-Arms to this day.
However, I remember running every commercial for every toy line, and this brings it all back! Between the influence of Milius' sublime CONAN THE BARBARIAN and lax Reagan-era advertising laws, the sky was the limit!
My era was more the MEGO 8 inch figures, the SHOGUN WARRIOR line ( a favorite), DINKY TOYS, and the MICRONAUTS, the first electric vehicles you could take into the bath with you. Seriously... that was dope!
I have a fondness for the GoBots. The cartoon wasn't as good, but I liked the toys just as much. Sometimes even better, because they had a much more reasonable price point. I probably had more GoBots than Transformers in those early years.
But man, I do love those 70s toylines. Slightly before my time, but I've been collecting the Star Trek Megos. I have a nice little collection of both modern and classic releases. And somehow as a kid I had the Shogun Warriors Rodan toy. It was fragile as all get out, but I loved that thing.
If this one does pretty well, I'd like to go back and do some episodes on 60s and 70s sci-fi toys. Probably more my audience's speed anyway.

The MEGO STAR TREK figures were AWESOME. the dirt in my back yard was probably 50% little plastic phasers, communicators, and tricorders by the end. The costumes were real cloth, and the heads were pretty damn good. The playsets didn't look anything like the sets from the show, but my father was a brilliant artist, so we made our own.
My problem with TRANSFORMERS was that all the characters were stolen from different Animes; I was already an Anime (Japanamation, anyone?) fan before it or ROBOTECH came out, so it always felt... kinda dirty.
As far as DINKY TOYS, well... Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's estate should have a plaque dedicated to my parents. I must have had every Eagle, UFO INTERCEPTOR and MISSILE FIRING TRUCK. I mean, my folks weren't rich, but looking back, they really went out of their way to get us the things we really wanted.
I did the math a year or so ago, and have no idea how they managed it. I'm glad no one needed an iron lung or anything.

@@user-dh2qf5kd8c Several years back I managed to get ahold of the Mego Enterprise Playset. It's in rough shape, but still awesome to have in the collection. The furniture still looked good, though. So I took it out and have it on the Star Trek shelf along with the Megos.
And you're right. That first year of Transformers was basically just a mix of Micro Change and Diaclone. I always wondered as a kid why Grimlock had a seat in his back.
I gotta just share my story of sci-fi , horror, fantasy in the sixties. My dad was a fixer it guy and my parents were strict. Tv only after dinner on Sunday. But it was the age of children stuck outside until called for dinner. In an outbuilding back of the property they were some black and white televisions. I moved them into cabinets with power. One had picture, another sound. In Nashville, where I grew up they had the BIG SHOW from 3-5 o’clock. The movies were mostly B runs from the 50s. Some very risqué for that period being “red dead nude” mad artist type of features or cheap foreign jobs. They also ran all the great classics like E vs the Spider and the universal 30s and more. Atomic takes me back to those’d days and remembering the added excitement that if I got caught watching or even being in those outbuildings a beating might follow.
That is really neat. I do so enjoy hearing the childhood stories of Snack Bar patrons. Especially, those of fellow southern monster kids and sci-fi fans. Though I must ask, I'm not familiar with the term "outbuilding". Is that something like an outhouse? Though, I can't imagine watching TV in one of those.
(27) That was a helluva lot of fun to watch. I did watch old "He-Man/Masters of the Universe" cartoons when they got them on the chintz (cheap) when I was living in NZ. Made Saturday "laundry day" a lot more bearable, especially if you smoked a joint first.
I appreciate you watching this one, Thais. I know it's kind of outside what I normally cover. But sometimes a toy nerd's gotta toy nerd.

Hey Rob, wonderful work. I love these toy retrospective vids because it always brings back memories of figures I had as a kid which tended to originate from lines I wasn't as familiar with. But I played with them all the same. On that note, I do recognize many of those Blackstar figures, especially the red sparking figure and for sure we had a bunch of those little demons. Great line, it would have been awesome to have had all of those. That Fortress of Fangs playset looks incredible too. Out of curiosity, I checked ebay to see how much it was going for. When I was back in my hometown last, I grabbed some stuff from storage. And that included several of the little demon guys. A green one. A pink one. And an orange one. The green ones were always my favorite as a kid. Probably because they are the most gobliny.
Speaking of the Fortress of Fangs, mine is long gone. But I do still have the purple gargoyle chair that sat on the top. He's on my 80s shelf as we type.

I loved Black Star… it never occurred to me that it was before Masters of the Universe. Lots of similarities, like the two halves of a magic sword that can be joined.
It's an interesting case all around. I never got to see the show as a lad, but I sure did love the toys. Heck, that Lava Loc I would put up against any MotU figure.

Ah Remco, makers of many “affordable but enjoyable” toys 🥰 I particularly love their myriad lines of 3.75” o-ring military figures (not at all “inspired” by a certain Hasbro line, oh no) and pick them up whenever i see ‘em, cuz there’s always weird variants you’ve never seen before 😳
Oddly enough, I'm not sure I remember those. You'll have to send me some pics on the Twitter. But yeah, I love Remco. The Mini-Monsters line is what introduced me to most of the Universal Monsters. I think the Creature was the only one I knew before hand.

Yeah, the mini-monsters were really awesome, i had a few as a _very_ young young’un, but unfortunately they did not survive to become part of my current collection 😞 Looked into picking them up again in recent years, but they’re rather pricey (unsurprisingly), especially the GITD versions 😱
@@Gappasaurus Both my Creatures fell apart. They didn't break. The torsos just came undone. I do, though, have the Wolfman in storage somewhere. Not sure why I didn't grab him last time I was there. Gnomes I would imagine.

Man that AD&D toyline was priceless. And speaking of the D&D cartoon in the last D&D movie that came out a few years ago when the heroes are running through the maze they pass Hank and Bobby and a few other characters from the cartoon. Honestly I had my fingers crossed just hoping Venger would make an appearance. Venger meant so much to me as a character he made numerous appearances in my campaigns. And still if you ask the 10 year old kid inside me who is the most badass character in the D&D cartoon he would still say Venger. Again as always my friend excellent episode and like always the D&D stuff gets my memories flowing thank you
I haven't seen that new D&D movie, but that's really neat that they included a Hank and Bobby cameo. How did they look? Fairly cartoon accurate? And man, I can only imagine how cool a live action Venger would be. Clancy Brown would be my dream casting for the role.

Extremely cartoon accurate so much I had a lump in my throat when the nostalgia bomb hit. Man me and my high school friend we made our own world so we could incorporate whoever we wanted. We picked up the Ravenloft world stuff back in the day we ended up making our own map of the world and as we split up the realms using their characters like Strahd and Lord Soth we were like Venger would be perfect in this realm so we made him Lord of two of Ravenlofts domains. We went as far as to make our map trace another copy for the players the balled it up multiple times lit it on fire which took out parts of the map the players had no idea about. Man I could tell some stories of our campaigns I loved character development and storyline building make it a work like a good wrestling storyline build build build and build some more and that payoff is too sweet .
@@user-tg4jf5bf1v Sounds like a great time. And interesting to incorporate Venger into Ravenloft. I remember in the books when Lord Soth moved over from Dragonlance and into Ravenloft. Thought that bit of crossover was neat. If I remember correctly, I do think he ended up back in Dragonlance at some point.

Just rewatching this, I was thinking the Supernaturals were a great Sword and Sorcery line. I had all the figures and Ghostlings, but never had the Tomb Castle thing.
That was a great line. I had many of the figures and the Tomb of Doom. I'll tell you, that tomb got a ton of play for all kinds of different games. It fit nicely with so much.

I haven't read the comic, but from what I've seen, the art and design work is great. Since it is your favorite, perhaps you can tell me. I was curious as to why Morgan has white hair.
@AtomicSnackBar from the beginning of the comic. I always imagined it was just a very light blonde. The story was intriguing. A pilot going down a hole at the North Pole and finding that land. Towards the end of the run, it became a bit boring. I really recommend the comics if you like classic fantasy. Also had other side stories like Arak and others.
@@MrJopanti Fantasy/Sword & Sorcery and comics are two of my biggest interests. I was hoping they had released some collected editions, but it doesn't look that way. Perhaps I'll grab some of the single issues once I wrap up some of the collections I'm trying to complete.

I never could find the basic carded Mikola, so I got him with a horse (steed). I never could find Wolf Warrior at the time, but I bought him in recent years for the low, low price of only $600. The only Skull Man I ever saw in the stores was the second version of him. I never knew about Digital Daredevil, but I had a Hit & Missile game that I liked. For some reason, I had two Ronans and no Raidy. I bought a used Raidy on ebay, but that's strange. I should have had a Raidy figure from back in the 80s. I guess he went the way of Pac Toys Rocky and Apollo, my extra Boray from Battlestar Galactica, and my original Kandar figure from Speclatron -- they all mysteriously disappeared. I tell you, those Other World figures melt the fire out of plastic figure cases, but the figures themselves held up good. My Weapons Master is still carded. My cousin Dax got me Hawkler in recent years (the 2000s) as a present since he wasn't released in the United States. I've literally got every figure in every toy line you mentioned. Most are carded, some I opened just to put in a figure case. I've got to say, this is my favorite video you've ever made -- I enjoyed every second of it.
Did you get into the new releases of the Warrior Beasts from Zolo World? Or are you strictly original releases? Because right now, they have a re-release of the original Skull Man up for sale. It has killer packaging too.
I really hope all my Other World toys are still in storage. I know my Froggacuda held up really well for many years. As did the weapon's master. The weapons were long lost, though. I went on ebay a week or so ago looking for a Sharkoss. There was a few on there that were pretty tempting.
And I know you are probably beyond sick of me saying it, but man, I really do miss your channel. I would love to see every thing you mentioned here, especially how you have them displayed. I'm hoping I can one day at least get you to start a twitter or IG to post photos of this stuff.

I guess I already had a wee bit of age on me in the 80's so was not inclined to get figurines. The Intellevision A D and D game on the other hand I got to play when visiting some friends of mine and loved it. Mike Grell's Warlord was another fave of mine and I still have some in the comics archives. Fine trip down memory lane, Sir. Defs a blast from the past. Four concussion shells out of five.
I'm more familiar with the toys than the comic, but I do have an interest in learning much more about it. Was the interior art as nice as those covers? Cause from all I've seen, they were quite impressive.
@@AtomicSnackBar Mike Grell was an impressive artist. His graphic art was so iconic - you literally couldn't confuse his work with anyone elses. Jon Sable Freelance for First Comics was another excellent example. As was Just Imagine Jeanie ( with a wonderful prequel to Forbidden Planet ) in Questar magazine. Worth tracking them down.

Truthfully, I was physically fully grown, if not mentally when the Boom of the Fantasy Toy market hit. But you seem to have been in your glory days here. The joy these toys brought you clearly has never waned. Good for you. Never give up! Never surrender your toys. He who dies with the most Lava Dragons wins. I would however have bought that Flaming Tree character. My kind of design. What's the worst thing you could do to him? Throw water on him? Actually, that would take him out of the game until he dried out. I guess you could chop him up... Well, what do you know. You've got me role playing. Good job.
Yeah, I had a pretty good feeling this one would be out of the wheelhouse of most of my viewers. But, you know what they say. The show must go on. This is, though, the last of the top list re-runs. I am almost finished with the book and am going to start actual new episodes soon. Shocking, I know.

@ AtomicSnackBar - it's rather interesting just how overly muscular most of those figures were. Body building, which had just made a broader cultural comeback due at least in part to Arnold in Conan. The Sword & Sandel films had brought Body building as a sport to the awareness of some, but the accessibility of multiple forms of media gained for it a new resurgence of cultural exposure. The only time that you saw male physiques similar to these exaggerated sculpted figures was in that sport. Just pointing out an interesting cultural progression. From Sport to movies to toys. Massive muscles and thin waists.
@@tonysantiago255 Another factor was a reaction to the Star Wars figures. If I remember correctly, which I seldom do, one of the guys behind MotU referred to them as wimpy and wanted to do the exact opposite.
@ AtomicSnackBar - that's an interesting factiod. If factual. My favorite reference to Star Wars toys is that nobody ( including Lucas) had any idea of just how huge Star Wars would be. They totally got caught with their Jedi jumpsuits down. No merchandise. Nothing. At Christmas time of '77, kids had to settle for a 'redeemable certificate'' to exchange when the toys became available in '78. LAME -O. And when they did come out, they were realistically proportioned. Point of curiosity; since David Prouse, who did the on screen physical performance of Darth Vader, was a Body builder and A Big guy, did they scale down the size of the Vader figure? It should have had his bulked up dimensions. You can understand the disappointment all around. Hind sight. Another job for: The Time Machine!
@@tonysantiago255 Now that you mention it, the proportions were off. But as a kid, that never crossed my mind. That can't be said for Transformers, though. The scale with those were vastly different on the show than on the toys in many cases.
I might have said this before - but - Master of the Universe had a really cool advert that played before Return of the Jedi - I think the pre-film was Elton John Live, that might have been Indiana Jones - not sure. My mum took me to the West End to see these films, big films were premiered in the West End (Piccadilly Circus/Tottenham Court Road area in London) and the cinemas and screens were very classy - almost theatre - with the best screens and sound systems - released slightly earlier. Shortly after ROTJ - I was told I was too old to play with toys, and I took my collection to the local Hospital - so never had a chance to get into MOTU. I did get into horror because of this, and - because my dad would bring home VHS of horror and S&S (I think because of the lurid covers) - also as I got into heavy metal, the school had a D&D club that attracted other heavy metal fans - so that was a draw. Transformers and MOTU were both things that I wanted to get into but missed out on. That said - I found He-Man in cartoons a bit - well - not Conan. And I never got the concept that Transformers could speak. I did like Thundercats though - oh I did like that. I did have Sandy Frank's Battle of the Planets - one of the only J things to come to the UK until the 90s when we had random Anaemia released under the Manga title. Lovely video again, inspiring, so good to remember happy toy thoughts - Commander Power Rocket Command Centre, that was my golden toy - oh yes - but played with Star Wars figures, thanks Nan.
No, you haven't shared that story at all. At least, I don't think so. But I very much enjoyed reading it. Cept for the part about being too old for toys. I never stopped. Granted, there were some times in the L.A. years where I was too broke to buy them, but my heart was still in the toy aisles.
And I agree with you on He-Man. It's actually not one I really get into. I like the toys(totally different world and stories), the 200X cartoon series, and most of all, the DC comic from several years back. But as far as 80s stuff goes, I'm a much bigger Thundarr person. Talk about a show that holds up.

I WAS in very much into AD&D though, so I had heard of the toy line, and the Dragon Riders does sound a bit familiar.
Funny, you mention some toys are G I Joe size. In my toy playing days G I Joes we’re 12 or 13 inch figures, with quite a bit of articulation.
The Other World figures look totally awesome as well, I would have loved to have those figures as a kid.
That motorcycle game commercial with an homage to CDB is a good bit too.

We had an incredibly steep, quarter mile hill that ran up to the Graveyard (ominously) in my small town; many a BIG WHEEL met its fiery, NASCAR-like end there, let me tell you. I don't know exactly how fast we ended up going by the base of that hill, but ONE, you had to pull your feet off the peddles and TWO, we became optically doppler shifted.

On a side note those Warlord Comics had some of the sexiest outfits I've ever seen on characters. Like looking at a Frederick's of Hollywood Catalog.
If I remember correctly I think Warlord was somewhat like Edgar Rice Burrough's Mars series. Though taking place in an "inner Earth" type realm.

I wish that had been from the show. But no, it was from one of, if not the, earliest MotU toy commercials. It predates the show by some time.
Wow. That's really interesting. They clearly went the extra mile with that animation. I was particularly impressed by the depth and variation of color painting and shading that accomplished a more three dimensional effect. That must have been relatively expensive for those few seconds. I'll look for the full commercial on UA-cam.

I wanted to tell you about this film I saw a portion of but I don't know the name of now and I know you're not into sleazy films but this one's really kind of tasteful sleazy but really really racy sleazy. It has all kinds of mythical creatures well done in the movie, seemingly all horny and all the male creatures are of the type that have large members and all of the females seem to be nymphs and it's interesting what I've seen of it though you have to have an open mind LOL. I know it's not a lot to go on but if you find it you're probably going to like it and no judgments no shaming LOL thanks again for your great Channel!
