Apologies, I forgot to put the asterisk for Gengar’s Lick - this move requires elite tm. Also Mega Lucario is now in the game and it is the new best Fighting type raid attacker!
@hpEdits617 you can get a elite tm from a community day box, or getting rank 20 in gbl. I believe you also have a chance of getting it from the 7 day pokestop streak or from a research package 📦
My guy, I really appreciate how realistic you are with all of this for newer/returning players. You distinguish the difference between WAS easy to get due to past comm day, and IS actually an OK daily spawn. You're literally the only person I've seen accurately describe beedrill mega energy drops as rare. I'm so over hearing about how "easily accessible" Larvitars and Drilburs are. I literally had to walk 300km to finally get my Tyranitar, lol. This was such a breath of fresh air, thank you good sir 😊

for anyone who struggles with Giovanni. Get a scrafty with counter and power up punch. Even with like 1300 cp it will tear the Persian apart while double resisting it Edit: yes, the other comment is correct. Make scrafty your second pokemon and immediately switch into him to stun lock the Persian. And ideally overcharge your charged move a bit so you can take minimal damage later

Very useful! But as a non-English native speaker, could you please add the written names for the Pokemons you mention? It's so hard to find them in the Pokedex based only on how you quickly pronounce their names in the video. And I'm quite proficient in English! 😀
It would help to show the names on the screen so I can search my pokemon for them, I don't know how to spell them sometimes and am not sure what the pre evolutions are/if I even have them laying around. Great video though!

Just recently discovered you and have enjoyed your videos. A lil' opinion on this video: The "future" pokemons are somewhat meh to be mentioned. They just adds up to video length. Can be years before they are introduced if ever. Also would it be cool to have all types stacking up on the scoreboard for comparisment along the way.
Very nice video! Liked the inclusion of a good number of budget picks because they often get ignored by others, and that's too bad for FTP and new players. One quibble: For me, I would have put grass types on the C tier at least because I use them against water types all the time, and my Mega Sceptile was what took down Giovanni's shadow Kyogre in just a few seconds. Not to mention ground and rock types are super-common, and grass types will take those down fast.
@@pogotrnr I'll be turning a friend of mine who just started playing a few months ago onto your videos. Ice > Dragon whenever you're fighting dragons because you don't live long enough as dragons if the raid boss uses dragon moves. Also, if it's dragon/flying, ice is infinitely better than dragon attackers. Use dragons against dragon if you want, but your total damage output from ice due to living longer > greater than dragons with living shorter

My top 3 new fav ODD picks lately that help me win alot of matchups: Great leage: Samurott: Hydro cannon/Blizzard Kills most of the current meta and with blizzard you can suprise kill many dragons and if locked against grass they wont wall, for me a better pick then swampert, esp if in team with drill run bedrill ;) Sooo.... my second is... ofc Shadow Bedrill: Poison Jab Sludge bomb/drill run Eats all grass and fighters for breakfast and good against fairy wich is common that you loose bc of their "charmer". Reaches drill run fast so again ,can suprise kill it stone counters aswell as Wins against registeel+ other steel types. I guess you can figure out the play from there ;) now I wont reveal my third Great leage party member instead a spicy starter in UL.... Ultra Leage: Shadow Crobat Air Slash Cross poison/Shadow Ball A very cool pick tbh, Great at baiting shields, lately my start pokemon and had a 11 win streak. Easy to build a team upon. And usally I start and close match with him, swap after getting a shield, IF buffed can be worth staying in or just rely on a shadow ball nuke when swapped back in after getting shield nr 2. Lick vs shadow claw is basically the same thing. There is so less difference in dps you will never get to know the difference. It was a good choice, because gengar legacy move will probably only come back in halloween.
I’ve added it as a pinned comment, thanks for pointing it out!
@@darshrathod4913 are you gujju?
Can they stop giving us legendary dragon types?
Squah
Cant believe you didnt mension kyogre ,groudon and dialga for master leage... and mewtwo?
My top 3 new fav ODD picks lately that help me win alot of matchups:
Great leage:
Samurott:
Hydro cannon/Blizzard
Kills most of the current meta and with blizzard you can suprise kill many dragons and if locked against grass they wont wall, for me a better pick then swampert, esp if in team with drill run bedrill ;)
Sooo.... my second is... ofc
Shadow Bedrill:
Poison Jab
Sludge bomb/drill run
Eats all grass and fighters for breakfast and good against fairy wich is common that you loose bc of their "charmer". Reaches drill run fast so again ,can suprise kill it stone counters aswell as Wins against registeel+ other steel types.
I guess you can figure out the play from there ;) now I wont reveal my third Great leage party member instead a spicy starter in UL....
Ultra Leage:
Shadow Crobat
Air Slash
Cross poison/Shadow Ball
A very cool pick tbh, Great at baiting shields, lately my start pokemon and had a 11 win streak. Easy to build a team upon. And usally I start and close match with him, swap after getting a shield, IF buffed can be worth staying in or just rely on a shadow ball nuke when swapped back in after getting shield nr 2.
Thoose are my top 3 that I find extremely underrated. 4-5/5 not 0-3/5 for sure gamepress!
Love to all pokemon gamers out there
the way he sais vikavolt is disturbing,
I never see elekid 😩
Yeah it’s pretty rare, don’t think it’s even in eggs atm for the season
For RAIDS or GYM BATTLE. Not for PvP. Those suggestiosn terrible for PvP.
Yeah that’s why I said specifically for raids and then toward the end of the video there is a section on pvp recommendations
2:47 Anyone know the name of the Pokemon beside Shadow Houndoom? I couldn't make it out.
Yveltal
@@Kingbam333 Thanks
i dont understand half the runtime of this video being pokemon that dont even exist yet. ‘be sure to look out for 30 different mega pokemon that may or may not even release this year guys!’ useless af!😂 make the video once they release.
Hey 👋
Hey!

i honestly wished you did not list the Unreleased yet, total waste of everybodys time.
I find it interesting tho
It’s very brief and ultimately interesting to know so not really worth commenting
I honestly wish you didn’t waste my time commenting this comment that I had to read
Could anyone please add me in Pokemon Go? I have a research task to find a new friend🙏
What is your id
