But I think rooting hormone makes all the difference. Generally when we try to grow any cutting at home, we don't use any hormone and cutting always ends up decaying.
Right now, it's not the best time..but still you can give it a try. Not all cutting may be successful. If nighttime temp is around 10 degree Celsius, please don't try now. Do only at the end of Feb as that time new growth starts. All the best and Sir is not required actually, thank you!

Very nice information which hormone powder r u using.i grow the cutting in water some variety get roots early some take time some fail .

Agree..rooting hormone definitely helps. But, can be done without using too..only success level may be different
I grew many bougainvillia from cuttings without rooting hormones. Patience is key.
