Looks a handsome young lad. Could win 3 world cups if he plays for Australia 👍🏻
He wins 3 wc 1999 to 2007

You're dreaming. One test wonder.

I'm from future and your face from the year 2007 can never be more hilarious.
I predict a great career for Wayne Holdsworth. He’ll be one of the brightest stars for Australia in the future. Not sure about this McGrath guy though
Ahahaha 🤣😜✌️
I time travelled all the way from the year 2007 just to read your comment.
@@peace2u947 Richie liked him more
This Mcgrath guy has thin legs like a pigeon lol. I say we nickname him pigeon... who's with me?
With that action, I'd have to say Holdsworth's body won't hold up long enough for a decent Test career. McGrath looks a lot smoother, like he could be bowling forever.
What a young lad… if he continues to perform like this, one day he could become head coach at MRF pace foundation.
You're talking crazy!
From "come down.. see what happens" to becoming the greatest fast bowler of his generation.
3:11 MIchael Bevan & Adam Gilchrist in NSW team photo behind Greg Matthews
Mark waugh there too
That guy standing next to McGrath in the team pic is huge ,towers above GM who's 6'5 himself.
Glen Mcgrath one of the finest the world has ever seen. Played a crucial role keeping oz on top for so many years.
I usually don’t predict but looking at this kid, I think he would take 500 plus international wickets . Lets see
He has above 900
Young gilly in the NSW team shot lol. Likely backup to Phil Emery then. Never heard of Holsworth. McGrath was the right call by selectors.the best fast bowler ever.
Holdsworth's inclusion on the 93 Ashes tour was predicated on his 53 wickets at 25.96 during the 92/93 Shield season. That included the final against QLD where he took 7/41, bowling unchanged alongside McGrath, to have QLD all out for 75 in their second innings. He definitely looked like someone who was moving onto bigger and better things, but he never regained his form after the tour of England and played his last game for New South Wales aged only 28 in 1996, where he had match figures of 0/112.
It's only in sports you are a rookie and after 12 yrs you are legend !!
You would be a villain if you carry on for decade more 😅
Damn Glenn hasn't aged one bit!
Glenn Mc Grath,,,, the Gem of Australia
Love these throwbacks
L
Great to see these old clips. I think McGrath used to be called Millard on account of the caravan. Pigeon came same time or later on account of his skinny legs. Greg Matthews and Adam Gilchrist were also in that team photo.
Great post. Good journalism. Particularly enjoy the Doug Walters reference. Holdsworth was a state star. Illustrates how tough it is to be in that 11.
The Legend
Love ❤️ for Aussie Cricket
Born on 9th February 1970 He was 23 back then n I was born on 11 February. He is definitely the greatest bowler to ever play the game even remembered and cherished long after his retirement
Not the greatest but definitely in the top 5 greatest bowlers to ever play the game.
What a Legend
In the end, the attitude mattered. Glenn said, "If we both just do our jobs......" . Said like a true sport. And he held the attitude till his last match. Stuff greatness is made of.👍
Rest is history.....went on to become The Legend ❤
Looks likes a humble kid. I'm sure he could spend all life just outside of off stumps.
Love these videos
ooohhh aaah Glenn McGrath !!! absolute legend
Any young fast bowler should watch him ..how to bowl consistency discipline line n length ..unmatchable freak💥💥💥
He is legendary cricketer
My favourite fast bowler
👌🔥💪
McGrath is just four months older than me! I remember him playing against England in Ashes series.
Greatest bowler of all time ❤❤❤
And that day legend was born
All Time Great The Timer again and again
This kind of trivia is gold!
His year-wise test bowling average was below 23.5 for a total of 11 times out of 15 years in his career.
Legendary
Amazing to Watch..
Holdsworth all the way. Who's this McGrath lad? I don't reckon he'll last two seasons. Go with first class experience always.
All time my favourite.
Back in the Mercantile Mutual days. Full coverage on Channel 9 with their top commentators
Excellent throwback
Wayne Holdsworth looks like a fabulous bowler. Most probably he will win the duel vs Glen McGrath and seal the spot in Australian team. Good Luck Wayne!
One of the bowling legend, Love from India.
Legend.
Love how Ritchie says " I think he has talent ", not to bad for a Pigeon
History was written thereafter forever!

I am a big fan of the aussie 2003 wc team. I think they are unbeatable, and this guy is head of the pace department of that team!!
I see a big future for this yound lad, lots of potential...I hope the Aussie selection committee don't muck up.
McGrath the legend bad luck for the other guy
Line length, accuracy and consistency king...
No body could have predicted he would become the greatest fast bowler ever.
How quickly he was improving back then i mean this can happen only when you're gifted with such talent.....
Legend bowler glen
No.1 bowler my all time Glenn McGrath ❤❤❤❤❤
looks like we've got another Hazlewood coming in....
Good you uploaded just at the right time ....😂😂
Love these throwbacks - if you had to pick 3 fast bowlers for a world 11 test team in the modern era (1990-present day), who would it be?
Mine are McGrath, Wasim, and Ambrose
You have to have room for Marshall in there ….. but it’s a close call
@@fizzel5711 Marshall finished playing in 1991 so I’d consider him the previous era. That’s why I clarified 1990+
same those three together are unbeatable - McGrath , Wasim and Ambrose
@@AntonAkhtar hi mullah do u remember me 😂
Aktar is better than Mcgrath
He was legends...
Nice line length,,,trust me in next few years he will conquer even Lara sachin...mark my word
I wish him all the best.
Gold!
The lad looks like a promising prospect. Hope he makes it big someday.
The best legendary bowler in the world,no body can reach him.
Who knew he would dominate Tendulkar, Lara, Atherton, and Inzimam; the best batters of his generation.
Gratest of the grate..
He is top one bowler ....
World 🌎, number one bowler in our cricket world, for ever,he is the best legendary bowler, ever and ever 😅.
Glenn McGrath was reall match winner for australia
It was a great fine for Australia and world cricket.
Best bowler ever on this earth in history of game
Worlds most important, who introduced good and smooth bowlers in the world 🌎🌍.
Take that step young man 😅
One of best thing about australian bowlers is they had natural comfortable bowling action like McGrath brett lee bichel Gillespie. While most of fast bowlers from other countries didn't have natural bowling action.
His action was different then from what it turned out to be later.
Glenn u r very consistent the only bowler accuracy everytime
Good length consicious and always bowled the imp.spots in pitch
Between the two of them, McGrath looks more promising.
I hope he can live up to all the hype.
Great bolwer
Impressive
Rest is history
Big Phil Alley in the clip to. He was taller than McGrath and seen as a future star fast bowler.
I’m more intrigued by the Queensland Lad Matty Hayden. He could break the test best score world record one day.
Sorry Richie, you got that one wrong.
Yeah your 100% right about that. Poor Wayne Holdsworth was a flop.
Kid has a bright future ahead of him
All I can say I didn't see Wasim Akram (except UA-cam clips) but I have seen Glenn Mcgrath!
He “sorta” broke all records
❤❤❤❤❤
Poor Wayne Holdsworth --
Reporter: the great Farren Hotham. ⭐️
Glen action is so simple
Upload Ponting innings vs England
Well he changed his action i guess ..One of the greatest
If he continues to keep his line length right and accuracy, he could achieve 500 test wickets......great potential
Then the rest is history 🎉
How quick was Holdsworth ?
i hope one day his dreams will come true and score so many goals. he could even knockout jon jones
Damn! How wrong was Richie on McGrath back then.
He was a nightmare for batsmen
Glenn is my best bowler list rank first
I think he will become a great fast bowler...
Holdsworth ‘s Action is like kasprowicz
Good
