Top 6 Tools You NEED To Save Space In Your Tool Bag

Ok my go to are the following: Klein 11 in 1, needle nose, voltmeter, baby crescent and a channel lock. I do alot of troubleshooting so that line up right there usually gets me by.
I keep a few pieces of wire from wire clothes hangers. They're about 14" long, one is straight with the ends cut at an angle. I use it to chuck up in a drill to go through wood or sheetrock as a spotter. I bent a hook on another one to use when I need to hook a wire or cable when fishing down a wall.
I also switched from Klein linesman pliers to Knipex linesman pliers a few years ago, I definitely prefer the Knipex.
I have the same Fluke tester, excellent choice.
I just bend a hook onto a scrap wire laying around
In the uk i use an old wire coat hanger for fishing cables hooking cables out of ceilings etc , pretty handy , nobody seems to be able to replicate the some old school ways ! Piece of decent wire will do just fine but the coat hanger is undefeated !
Any videos you would recommend for somebody learning how to use the fluke 323?
I use my M12 1/4 impact driver all day and every day. That gun is prob the best thing I have bought in the past couple years. I love that little gun. I also use nut drivers when I can not use the impact.
I carry two different sizes of plier wrenches, they do suck for a lot of tight locations where an adjust is actually better. The two parallel flat jaws do a great job at quickly straightening out bent corners of metal panels.
I've bought most of these tools at this point and they are all great, except for Zyklops. I do not like that it doesn't have a ball bearing to hold on sockets. I'm always working in a confined space or up on a ladder so not having the socket stay on there is a huge pain.
Klein makes a great plier wrench. They’re 10” though but they have a flippable insert for grip on pipes. It’s been a lifesaver for coax plant maintenance. Basically the only speed wrench on 1-1/2” hardline fittings. Sure as shit beats an adjustable wrench and costs a few bucks more than the Klein adjustable wrenches the company gives us.
Tip… you need to put water on the metal and let it sit. You can tell you’ve never used the stuff mine is a year old and hardly used and they show more wear, especially in the shine of the metal
Maybe he just takes better care of his tools than you do?
Great video, I also like knipex tools, when it comes to pliers, wera is another great brand. The stepcut is a compact but powerful tool. For measuring equipment I'm using Testo clampmeter and multimeters. Another very useful tool for inspection is a thermal camera but that one is not in my toolbag, but I use it very frequently.
Biggest flaw of the zyklop for me is there is no lockout feature to use as a standard driver. It only ratchets. Big draw back for me
What do you use to clean your veto pro pac? Mine gets very dirty with mud.
great question. would love a cleaning tools, truck, clothes and bag video.
It really depends what it's dirty with. Generally speaking.. blow off / out what you can using an airgun + air compressor, hit it with a good shop/ridgid vac with a brush attachment to agitate the rest... ...but caked mud? How much you want to put into it if it's going to get caked up again? Regardless, a small upholstery cleaner (like you'd use in car detailing, couches, stairs, etc.) would be nice for that.
@Justin-C exactly what I was gonna say
Can you replace the blade on that Knipex large cable stripper?
American electrician use mainly German tools. I use it too 😊
The Knipex scissors look like something I need to add to my bag. I use larger Milwaukee scissors to cut larger items.
Do you have issues with the Milwaukee?
@@CreachterZ No problems. They work great, just a little large.
I have found the twin grips are the best tool in the bag for twisting solid wire together. Try it.
What size and how many conductors?
@@nachoisme 12 and 14 solid two or three wires. It works brilliantly
@@nachoisme haven’t tried 10 yet but I bet it works just as well
@@Owen-xw8cs good to know....I will have to give it a go sometime and see, thanks.
That wera chisel driver... lifted a switchgear enough to fit a prybar under it an didnt bend
This is why I was so confused by the negative comments last time. The thing is a beast
More vids like this!
I could use 1 pair of Klein linesman’s for everything you talked about.
U wasting ur time watching him
It is the "perfect" chisel
Yeah and I’m sure you do great work. Probably mar everything up and get pissed off and yell while you slip and destroy your knuckles on everything..
@@mrwashur1991 lol no bud good electricians don’t carry that many tools
No you couldn’t. How could you cut paper?
The sales guy who pitched all this to you needs a raise
Yes because I definitely don’t need a multimeter or an adjustable wrench or cutting pliers that work really well 😂
Great videos great tool selections the only thing you have to do is raise the volume of your microphone! It's too low in all your videos.
uses magnet to find stud

№4 - мой выбор! Как здорово, что я могу приблизиться к такому крутому набору инструментов. Несмотря на то, что всё, что я могу себе позволить из этого набора - кусок проволоки и обрезок кабеля.
Great meter but, that one in particular does not measure capacitance.
Correct!
🔥🔥🔥
Who else walks around with a Bucket ?
💪
Everything looks new. Not being worked. Lol My tools are dirty, of course I actually use them.
They’ve all been used I just keep my stuff clean😂
Quit using misleading titles. These are tools you use every day but then your “#1” tool, the fluke, you say you don’t use it every day and again why are you removing full sheets of dry wall? lol you mean to tell me you find every screw, dig all the joint compound out, cut the taped seam, and pull off a full sheet of drywall?
It seems like an over correction to be upset with this title. You’re getting exactly what you were looking for when you clicked on it. It doesn’t create a very clickable title to put tools I mostly use every day and it doesn’t matter what I make if no one sees it.
It’s not full sheets of dry wall. It’s portions of that I’ve cut out and they can be reused if you take the screw out and put it back in. It’s gives you access to the wall and only leave mudding and painting
Another hack tool influencer pushing all the same Wera and Knipex tools with affiliate links. Next month you’ll have another top 10 must have tools “you use daily” and a new bag.
These are all my daily tools. I review a lot of stuff so people can see it who want to. This has been my bag for like 2 years going on 3. Why would I not put affiliate links on stuff?😂 am I not allowed to make any money from the time and effort I put into this?

You’re a fraud and your tools live in a studio.
American electrician with all German tools smh
american tools suck that’s why
