Could you show the direction you went underneath to get to the two bolts on the bracket holding the back of the pump

@@truckscoffee5188 wow thanks for responding, do you need to change injectors to? I have a Garage trying to Charge me 18k for that job. And I take it have to take off exhaust manifold too?

@@lionelanderson262 all depends if you got metal shaving in your fuel system that can damage your injectors

How do you know when the fuel pump is going bad?

Lost of power was the first thing I noticed so I started checking everything and found a small Crack on the hydraulic pump and it was leaking fuel. If you hear a ticking noise coming from the pump that's a sign of a bad fuel pump the truck could operate like it supposed to but you can hear a ticking noise shut it off and check your fuel filter if you have metal shaving your fuel pump is bad. Also replace your fuel lines and torque them to 39lbs .

I changed my fuel filter and primed it. Was running great before we changed the filters and now it won’t start. Dealer is saying pump went out conveniently but the primer won’t prime up hard, could it be a fuel filter housing issue?
