@@essickfarms7585 How much feed does it hold when full? I am considering making on but in order for the guys to deliver, I would have to order a minimum of 3 ton.
I’ve never filled it all the way up I usually buy 10 bags of corn and four bags of supplements so that’s 700 pounds and it fills up just above the first hole on the front of the bin. I’d guess it’ll hold around 1800 lbs maybe 2000 . Still the best thing I’ve built on the farm. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.
I live where the raccoons are of abundance, are can open just about anything they put their minds to, when hungry enough…..like child proof pool gates latches with carabiners.
It’s working good keep the feed dry and easy to get to .If I shorten the rails, it wouldn’t open the full hole to let the feed out. The pins in the end stop it. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.
That looks great! Good job. Does a company come fill it up, or do you self fill?
Right now I buy corn and grind it, in the future I’d like to grow my own corn. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.
Great build! Thanks for sharing
It’s been one of the best things I’ve built . Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.

@@brandonlykins9245 Iam thinking around 1500 LBs, halfway was a little over 700 pounds i’m hoping to fill it up with the corn field I have this year.
Now that you have been using this a while do you know how much it will hold?

How do you keep critters from pulling open the paddle ? We have “ to smart for their own good” animals here.
😁 guess I’d have to put a lock on it if that happens. Luckily, the mice are too small to open it.

@@plurmingo1 that’s why they are called bandits.
Great build
Thanks!! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Looks Great hows it holding up? And why not trim the rails a bit so the handle sticks out past them?
