Girrrrl this was Amazing and everything I needed to make me feel that I can do my own backsplash now!! Yall didn't use expensive scary tools and I love the idea of using the tile adhesive mats. I watched this whole video beginning to end shocked at how you made it look so easy. It looks beautiful!
I admire your bravery to try a new project AND be willing to share your experience with the world. Sometimes people forget their manners in the UA-cam comment section. 😂 I learned enough to do my own backsplash. Sincere thank you!
I would recommend watching other videos on You Tube about tiling. Final project looks ok but, understanding trim options, renting a wet tile saw, using thin set or another bonding agent makes for a quicker nicer looking project.
I love your sisters kitchen with the dark cabinets. Even prettier now with the backsplash! White seems to be what’s in right now but I love our dark cabinets. I just finished staining them and plan to add some backsplash. Great job! And way to be a good supportive Sis ❤️
Sooooo glad I found you - I was about to start mixing mortar - GAG! Your 'spot-on' instruction gave me the confidence to do this b4 hubby gets home from work trip. One less thing for him to do on weekends. There are SO many vids out there, but you are by far the best I have seen on this - and that's ALOT! Thank you :) Allie
This looks amazing!!! Great video. I will be doing my kitchen backsplash soon. I was a little doubtful but watching your video has boosted my confidence. Love it!! 😍😍😍 Great job! Be bless! ❤️
This was great! I have the same tiles in shades of green and have not put them up because I didn't know what tools to use or if I could actually do it. Your video has given me life and confidence.
Outstanding!!!!!!! Inspiring for my wife & I to achieve our project!!! At 7:42 was our exact initial dilemma issue as well. Cutting clean, precisely & linear w/o damaging tiles pieces. Next door neighbor has a wet saw setup, but THIS methodology is better & totally independent…. if you feel me. And, your style handheld tile scoring snipper, different from ours & seems more efficient. We also need to get that tile cutter layout tray device, too. We got a diamond cutting saw & diamond blade which makes such a mess & a bit more eye & respiratory traumatic hazardous-dangerous than what you’ve demonstrated. Addendum: Halfway through project and it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Appreciate your simplified safest technique doing this initially intimidating homeowner’s self dependent do it yourself video tutorial!!!
It' look like it's going to be beautiful, but it seem like a little too much work for me at this stage of my life, but I just may still try doing a little 😀
Well mam thank you for breaking all these tools i have purchased down. And the best win is buying the actual glass tile is way cheaper than peel and stick thank you
Great job thank you very much for showing your excellent work, would you like to to come to South Carolina and help me do my kitchen? I do have lots of projects that I’m trying to work on it, and I’m learning as I watch your your videos, I only wish that I had learned about it on my early year’s, but thank you very much, by the way I love your sister’s kitchen thank you both for sharing be blessed and continued to the excellent job that you do.
Really enjoyed this very relevant and informative video tutorial! Love the way you used step- by- step, show- as-you-go approach. Amazing transition 👍🏽👍🏽
Looks great. I do have a question though. I paused at 19:19 and screen shot the edge to the far right that just stopped on the wall. Did it get left like that or what was used to finish that edge? Not to pick it apart, but you can see how the cuts are uneven. I have 3 spots that would end without something butting up against it.
Thanks. I'm trying to decide which we want to use. We would rather just use caulk for the look, but our tiles we are using are about 1/4" thick. Not sure if it's going to sit right.
The adhesive roll replaces the need for mastic or thinset to adhere the tile to the wall. Its quite strong and will support up to 7lbs per square foot.
Wowwwww Ladies y'all did an AWESOME job, looks Professional. Love Love the out come. Question is that adhesive tile mat rental friendly?? New subbie thanks for sharing :) :) :) :)
OMG, that is absolutely amazing and a show- stopper!! GORGEOUS! Thank you so much for your very helpful instructions and recommendations. I need to put in a backsplash in my tiny kitchen and you've inspired me to finally get it done. Thank you very much! Great job!!!
Yess this turned out sooo nice. I appreciate you showing the mistakes you made because this definitely helped me to make sure I know what doesn’t work as well. I can wait to give this a try!
I was kinda Intimidated too at first. But if you go step by step and have the tools you need before you start its pretty straight forward. You can do it!
Great video. I love that you gave us a step by step and very clear instructions. Phenomenal job. My cousin and I did her back splash years ago but we didn't have that adhesive mat. I think that makes the job a whole lot easier. Beautiful work.
Wow, this is like the 5th-6th DIY video on this I watched. You came up with ideas even the pros didn't. I thought I was going to have to buy a wetsaw or have a contractor do it. Also my countertop and backsplash is going to be almost identical to your sister's so this gives me an idea of how it will turn out. Thanks!
I’m doing my backsplash now and my tiles are very similar, I also changed the outlet covers to silver. I just needed information how to tile around the window, your video is very useful and straightforward, just what I needed. Thank you! ❤️
Absolutely LOVE the video the detail the clear explanation the clean and fast materials used. I’m nervous but very convinced now that I can absolutely do this. Thank you ladies 🎉❤
Nice job but if you attempt this again PLEASE do yourself a favor..RENT A WET TILE SAW..makes things much easier..!!! 1 more thing..DO NOT EVER USE YOUR HANDS TO LAY GROUT.!!! That is the biggest NO NO.. buy a float and learn how to use it..by using your hands you are not getting the grout in between the tiles in a uniform amount..this will cause failure in the near furture..that grout also needs a sealer added to it...work smart, not harder
I was really happy to see this, every time I would see similar tile being installed it always turned out it wasn't real tile, but strips of plastic tile. So this was very helpful when trying to make my decision what type of tile to get. Also I think it came out really nice.
I hope you enjoyed watching the process! Let me know what you think of the finished look!
Looks fantastic! I'm doing this exact thing starting Monday. Using musselbond. I already have some of it on the wall. Thanks for this great video.
Can you please link me the backsplash I love this color scheme! Or tell me the color name so I can find it!!!
I didn't see where you use the liquid nail.
Good evening,
What was the total pricing of this backsplash?
What is that backsplash?
Girrrrl this was Amazing and everything I needed to make me feel that I can do my own backsplash now!! Yall didn't use expensive scary tools and I love the idea of using the tile adhesive mats. I watched this whole video beginning to end shocked at how you made it look so easy. It looks beautiful!
Thanks so much!! U def got this!💪🏾😉
Simply beautiful.
How well are the tiles holding up with the adhesive mats??
I admire your bravery to try a new project AND be willing to share your experience with the world. Sometimes people forget their manners in the UA-cam comment section. 😂 I learned enough to do my own backsplash. Sincere thank you!
I would recommend watching other videos on You Tube about tiling. Final project looks ok but, understanding trim options, renting a wet tile saw, using thin set or another bonding agent makes for a quicker nicer looking project.
You two have really inspired me to do my kitchen backsplash myself. Thanks alot! It looks great!
You guys did great! Congratulations, to your sister and her new home.
Thank you! 💕
I love your sisters kitchen with the dark cabinets. Even prettier now with the backsplash!
White seems to be what’s in right now but I love our dark cabinets. I just finished staining them and plan to add some backsplash. Great job! And way to be a good supportive Sis ❤️
You made this look SOOO much better, the way I expected, than other UA-camrs!!
Oh l love this! l am so inspired to go to HD/Lowes and buy some tile backsplash! Thank you!

Great Job Ladies I was extremely impressed with your work. I will definitely be using your video as a guide when I install my back splash
This was great! I have the same tiles in shades of green and have not put them up because I didn't know what tools to use or if I could actually do it. Your video has given me life and confidence.

It' look like it's going to be beautiful, but it seem like a little too much work for me at this stage of my life, but I just may still try doing a little 😀
Amazing job! DIY tutorial helps me out so much. Looks awesome.

Well mam thank you for breaking all these tools i have purchased down. And the best win is buying the actual glass tile is way cheaper than peel and stick thank you

Beautiful finish. Love it!
Amazing! ❤❤❤
Great job, that looks awesome!
Very informative! I’m considering using this. How has his held up in the years since the initial install? Would you use it again?
Absolutely! Still looks just like Day 1 😁
Looks amazing! You guys are an awesome inspiration! Thank you 🙏
Beautiful installation. Great job!
Thank you!
Just finished our kitchen today. I applaud your efforts tackling this job. It certainly can be frustrating.
BRAVO!
Really enjoyed this very relevant and informative video tutorial! Love the way you used step- by- step, show- as-you-go approach. Amazing transition 👍🏽👍🏽
I love it! You did such a great job!
awesome work
Nice job !!!!! 🙂
Awesome job. Would the adhesive paper come off in some time? My peel and stick tile back splash came off in some time.
We used grout so it's not going anywhere 😉
Oh those look great!!
Thank you
Hi looking good.. how long the it took you girls to finish the project..?
Do you have to sand the wall before applying the adhesive pad or it will stick fine on glossy paint?
Amazing
Looks great. I do have a question though. I paused at 19:19 and screen shot the edge to the far right that just stopped on the wall. Did it get left like that or what was used to finish that edge? Not to pick it apart, but you can see how the cuts are uneven. I have 3 spots that would end without something butting up against it.
It was not left that way we used caulk & u can buy end cap strips to use on the edges at your local Lowe's and Home Depot stores😉
Thanks. I'm trying to decide which we want to use. We would rather just use caulk for the look, but our tiles we are using are about 1/4" thick. Not sure if it's going to sit right.
Nice!
Beautiful transformation....whats the name of the sticky paper?
What type of premixed grout did you use ? I couldnt see from the container and you didnt mention it.
How did you make the perfect cut for the outlet in the middle of the tile?
Why did you put the adhesive on the wall? Is that to protect the wall or for the tile to stick correctly. Wasn’t sure why you did that. Thanks!
The adhesive roll replaces the need for mastic or thinset to adhere the tile to the wall. Its quite strong and will support up to 7lbs per square foot.
Great😊
Loved it help
What is the name of the tiles you used? I have a similar countertop. Thanks!
Nice but I don't understand what the grout is for?
Proper tools make job easier .. glass tile cutter to make straight cuts ..nice tips for adhesive paper though .. nice job
Wowwwww Ladies y'all did an AWESOME job, looks Professional. Love Love the out come. Question is that adhesive tile mat rental friendly?? New subbie thanks for sharing :) :) :) :)
How many of the tiles did you end up using?
Nice 😎✅
Very good young lady
Why would you use liquid nail
Did you turn off the power at during the process?
Judging by the display on the oven, it does not look like they did...I would certainly recommend it especially when sponging the grout.
I thought glass tile needs to be cut with a wet saw. It would cut your tiles straight
We will not be grouting 27 seconds later this is the grout we will be using
Jess were you able to use everything you bought for this process? I know you didn’t use the cutter.
Yes we used everything except for the little tile nipper we did have a few sheets of tile left over also
@@KreatyveGardenista loved the video! At what point did you use the Liquid Nails?
I loved the tile. Two questions: 1. Where did you use liquid nails?; 2. Can you detail prices of tile, tools, etc. Thank you!
Nice!
You deserve your own show! This was “real” -thoughtful , educational and entertaining.
OMG, that is absolutely amazing and a show- stopper!! GORGEOUS! Thank you so much for your very helpful instructions and recommendations. I need to put in a backsplash in my tiny kitchen and you've inspired me to finally get it done. Thank you very much! Great job!!!

You did such a great job explaining each step! You gave me the confidence I needed to try doing this DIY project on my own. Thank you!!
You're welcome! Have fun you got this!!✨
This project seemed overwhelming to me, but you did it 😃 I learned a lot from this video
I'm so glad you found it helpful! I learned so much now I'm ready to do my own kitchen & bathroom!😁
I was kinda Intimidated too at first. But if you go step by step and have the tools you need before you start its pretty straight forward. You can do it!
Nice but too much for me
Can you explain how you cut the tiles around the sockets?
