Jimmy is a top man and a brilliant comedian. I have had the pleasure of Working with him on three occasions. Very generous with his time and charity activities. I would also mention that his wife may is also a lovely lady

I was just remembering how much my Mum loved this guy,
    And so did I.
I watched the 2020 live performance he done just now,
    he still made me chuckle.
But my Mum's not here to laugh with me any more.
Great stuff. Hope he is still going strong after the pandemic

We went to see Jimmy whilst on holiday, possibly Torquay, about 20 years ago. My son was about 8 at the time. He was in fits of laughter and insisted on meeting him afterwards and buying a CD.

Good clean comedy fun and jokes, that's what Jimmy cricket was all about. You could've taken granny to his shows and be guaranteed there wouldn't be any jokes to cringe to. Well done Jimmy!

This must be one of the last This Is Your Lifes Eamonn Andrews did, as he died on 5th November 1987, and by the copyright we see this was made in 1987. Eamonn did not look very well in this episode. In 1987 he contracted a virus whilst on a plane journey, however this was not known at the time.

    • @TheWacoKid1963

This episode was broadcast on the 4th November 1987, The day before Eamonn's death. Three other episodes where ready to be broadcast after Jimmy's, But where not broadcasted till January 1988, Those been, Kitty Godfree, Tom Maclean & Jane Rossington.
Michael's first collar was Phil Collins but was broadcast as his second due to the press printing photos of Phil's surprise the day after. Mickey Rooney's show was shown first then Phil's the week after.

The building site they're in is what is now John Lewis. The old Bentalls store is in the background, looks like they'd just started redeveloping it as one section is covered in scaffolding

Had the pleasure of seeing him in our local theatre around the mid eighties, with my elderly in laws, my wife and child. I still smile today thinking of his act. No swearing, no filth, those today wouldnt manage to cut it for "fnnn" every second utterance. Theres more! 😂
