  • The ACC is expanding with the addition of SMU, Stanford, and Cal. On Late Kick Live Ep 482 Josh Pate ranked all 17 programs using a rolling 3-year blended set of criteria including on-field performance, talent acquisition, resource pool, and stability. With FSU and Clemson set atop the Big Ten, is there another team joining the top tier? How do the next tiers shake out? Has Mario Cristobal gotten Miami in position to win big on the field? What about the sneaky job NC State has done? Where do programs like North Carolina and Virginia Tech stack up? Could a turnaround be in the cards for Georgia Tech? If the criteria is the past three seasons Pitt needs to be higher. Josh’s exact words were “these aren’t projections” and Pitt achieved more in the past three years than half the teams ahead of them. I’m blaming producer Jessie on this one

  • @Treypickens

This time next year Georgia tech will be top 5 in your rankings.

  • @bwilson21345

NC State over Louisville is comical, basically saying you don’t know anything about ACC football without saying

  • @dislikebutton7834

I’m sorry Josh but fsu is not above Clemson. They had one good year full of mercenaries that barely escaped a down Clemson team in OT. One okay year does not a good program make

  • @fsupenguin

Way too much credit to UNC, only Miami has underachieved on greater level. Not nearly enough love for VT or GT.

A part of me as a FSU fan and alumni, it makes me proud to say that we have retaken the ACC. It’s been a long time coming, but the other part of me, can’t wait until we exit the ACC.

  • @Hundo-et5ef

    Louisville should be #3

  • @ricflair8863

Pray that someone loves you the way Josh loves Mario and The U 😍

  • @zoomdoof6107

rank the 2 pac 12 teams next?

  • @chrisgray2824

    All about The U

  • @mikestewart3670

Thank you for recognizing my Pack. I think a reasonable position at #3.

  • @willpsone

I can accept Georgia Tech as a tier 4 program given how bad things got during the Geoff Collins error (who I remember Pate being a big fan of when he first got hired) and that the jury is still a bit out on Key after a just decent first season but don't see how Syracuse rates above the Jackets unless you are only looking at the last 4 years. But acknowledging that Tech could easily jump to be behind only FSU and Clemson very quickly is fair.

  • @Dude-xy4fx

GT finished 4th in the ACC last year. Won’t be surprised if they ruin several teams’ seasons.

  • @Brownballer10

No arguments with the order this is spot on. Only difference between how I had them ranked and yours was I didn't have a tier 2 and all schools were 1 tier lower for mine.

  • @gijakob

To give them Credit, Boston College did beat SMU in a bowl game recently

  • @klingeljman

Was expecting more GT disrespect from geoff Collin’s best buddy. #13 is just disrespectful. Dude never paid attention to tech football and just placed them somewhere.

  • @DAY-DAY-10

Mr pate love to hear more about Miami

  • @tonychaney1

Thank you brother! Louisville will see you back in the ACC championship game!

  • @Clemsonalumnus
