I’m a Clemson fan and there’s no such a thing as lucky. We lost, congratulations to FSU, we made critical errors that as we know, you can’t make against a good team. Because we won a lot of them because of errors. That’s not luck, FSU made their own luck. You take advantage of the others team’s mistakes. That’s what they did. We won championships with that very thing. Good luck to FSU the rest of the year. We’ll be better with experience.

Dabo and the OC killed y'all. Y'all were the better team but the coaching let y'all down. Without Venables, with this horrible new OC, with refusing to use the portal and blatantly hating NIL, he's running the program into the ground. It's 110% on Dabo. Honestly I don't know if he was ever that good of a coach, he just had two phenomenal QBs to mask a lot of stuff.

Jordan Travis was hurting that whole game. His injury made him one dimensional which doesn’t help an offense built around him being able to keep defenses guessing. Hopefully the bye week will help him get back to healthy so we can keep people off balance.
I remember when JT’s strength was his legs and he was working on his ability to pass.

Florida State didn’t play good the last two weeks. No doubt about it but dadgum I think tv watchers have no idea how hard it is to go into BC on red bandanna week and win. Historically that game has given top ten teams nightmares and again to go into Death Valley with hardly any fsu fan tickets being allotted and come out with a win after playing way down to your potential. Those are two achievement that’s I don’t think get enough credit. I think fsu is a heck of a lot better than their last two performances. I also don’t know another team who fights to the end like fsu… oh that’s because no other team in America has been tested like fsu to this point in the season.

I don't think FSU has turned a corner back to an elite program. What I saw was them...just like about 12 other teams... have benefited from having 6yr Seniors at QB while some of the other top team are having inexperience at QB or new coaching staffs. Jordan Travis came out the same recruiting cycle as Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence. So did Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr, Cam Rising and a bunch of the high performing signal callers. Once these Covid year players dry out it will got back to more of a "coach em up" standard. Next season FSU will be in the same position as Clemson is this year with an inexperienced QB plus OL as they are set to lose 6 to 7 starters on Offense and 7 on Defense.

That defense touch down basically won them the game, oh and Clemson kicker not being able to make a kick. Otherwise Florida state looked pedestrian in all phases. Clemson’s defense came to play.
Refs missed a lateral that was batted down by Jared Verse that he would have ran back for TD and called it an incomplete pass. Also, Clemson's corners were mauling FSU's WRs down the field all game.
Exactly what I been saying Clemson had turnovers that lost them the game against Duke, which had nothing to do with the portal however, Duke put themselves in the position to win that game due to the portal.

Regarding the Portal, you have two programs in very different situations. Florida State - had to utilize the portal- recruiting had fallen off the map while Clemson recruited in the top 5 year after year. But, Clemson is part of the portal whether Dabo likes it or not - they have lost players to the portal and that, obviously, affects top 5 recruiting classes.

There was so many calls that weren’t called on Clemson that gave them big drives.
Dude, they won because they got the rare strip sack scoop and score. Without that, the stats make perfect sense. Clemson out played them all day long. But FSU benefitted from a lucky scoop and score and the fact that Clemson has real kicker issues. Clemson was easily the better team out there. But they made one more costly mistake than FSU did, and FSU took it. Doing what it takes to win matters, but you can't convince me the FSU is 'better' than Clemson was on that day.

People talking about how FSU didn’t look convincing against Clemson and BC. Sorry, I don’t mean to burst anyone’s bubble but NO ONE has looked convincing. At least we have wins against very formidable P5 schools (LSU and Clemson). BC was a fluke game that caught us off guard + the entire team was sick (anyone who’s been in Tallahassee these past few weeks know there’s been a bug goin around). Everyone expected FSU-Clemson to be close-why? Because Clemson has only lost at home once before since the dawn of man (it feels like). That’s not an easy place to play. Throw in the injuries with Scott, Dent, and Travis and it becomes apparent that great teams find a way to win with a hand tied behind their back. We’re going to rest up these next couple of weeks and be locked in for the rest of the season

2) Clemson hasn't lost back-to-back road conference games (which you corrected) or home conference games, but back-to-back conference games, one on the road and one at home.
3) Clemson ACC titles aren't 7 or 8 in a row but 7 out of the last 8.

Those two drives that FSU scored TDs Clemson inexplicably went into a 3 down lineman prevent defense. FSU did nothing the rest of the day on offense.
Missing their best tackle, injured starter at center, injured best defensive back, injured QB just gutting it out to get to the bye week. Clemson had missing players as well. It was pretty even.

Clemson had PLENTY of Opportunities to Put Florida State down in this game and DIDN'T Do it.
Unable to Stop a 4th & 1 in the 2nd Quarter Up 10-0, The 1:50 TD Drive by FSU Before the End of the First Half, The 46 Yard Run Before the Fumble that led to a Florida State Defensive TD, Multiple Drives in the 2nd Half that led to Punts, The Obvious 29-Yard FG Yeeted by the Kicker (Who is probably WANTED in SC for Larceny and Fraud), and the Horrible Clock Management on the Final Drive before OT.
No Excuses. Clemson had opportunities to Put FSU on the Mat and couldn't pull it off.
Props to FSU for being RELENTLESS the whole game. Never at any point were they out of it.
Clemson had to play PERFECT Football for 60 Minutes and FAILED.
Just felt like a 'Passing of the Torch' Game. The Sack-Strip Fumble returned for a TD just symbolized not only Clemson's Year, but also will be weaponized against the Anti-Transfer Portal Crowd.
Clemson will still be a competitive team, just not for the CFP or ACC Championship.
I suppose the question for Clemson now is, "Can it get any lower"?, and I believe so if Dabo and the Tigers DO NOT Tread Lightly from here on out.

Clemson recently had to take down the name Tillman hall from one of the most famous campus halls bc he was known for lynching blacks and every since then the team has struggled with recruits and there’s a lot of tension on campus. It’s definitely affecting the team

Clemson hasn't had many scholarships because we are not losing many to the portal. Dabo won't process players and many guys who would have been drafted wanted to return. I'm sure he likely would have used it had that not happened. We were over the limit going into the fall. It is what it is.

As far as the team, building confidence and getting players to “buy in” after a 5-7 year is huge for Miami. If they can beat Clemson and/or FSU, that will demonstrate to the team and other recruits they are building something in Miami. If Miami can avoid the let down game this year, it will be a great year.

It’s not so much this one game being a referendum but the whole season as well as the last few. No doubt we’re in a decline. Love the move by Dabo to hire Riley. Now it’s time we upgrade position coaches and stop handing them out to his buddies. Time to use the portal and bring in 1 to 3 or 4 every offseason. Guys who can contribute and help not back up QBs.

Wrong? This is FSUs best team since 2014, it took a 6th year QB, a bought and paid for group of vets from the transfer portal, and a missed FG to get them out of there with a win. Congrats, but worry about FSU sustaining some success here. Clemson will be fine, that was our best offensive showing against an elite defense since Trevor left with a 19 year old QB and a 1st year OC. Love all these couch coaches whose teams haven't sniffed anything with the word Championship in it for 10 years talk about a guy who has won as much and as often as any active coach in FBS.
Clemsons dominance of the conference coincided with the worst stretch of fsu football in 50 years. So yes if fsu gets this thing rolling Clemson is toast. Plus Miami is trending up..

Clemson defense and roster was better than FSU. Coaching cost them this game. Prevent defense before half cost them 7 when FSU was stone walled. Playing for field goal at end of regulation. Mafah averaging 7 yards a carry and didn’t touch ball for last 5 min or regulation and overtime. 3rd and 1 in OT and two straight pass plays….. coaching was the difference in this game. Clemson roster can compete with anyone.
Dabo should quit coaching like he said he would if/when college players started to get paid.

I mostly agree with you but I would say that Clemson did outplay Florida St and FSU was fortunate to win. Also, people are completely ignoring their horrendous performance against BC who is terrible. FSU was really fortunate to win that game as well and nobody is talking about it. Alabama got grilled for beating USF 17-3 somewhat comfortably. OSU got grilled for somewhat scraping by some bad teams the last few weeks and not looking good. But BC was very close to beating FSU and nobody is saying a word

Not to mention.. you look at the dynamic of the two teams. One is too 5 in port along and the other is bottom 5. The bottom 5 in portal looked like they had better athletes across the field..
That being said, Dabo, will without a doubt start to dabble .. but don’t expect flood gates. Will probably only get 3-4 portal guys next year, and in any given season would most likely cap it at 5ish.. just knowing Dabo and his call-it pride, ego, principal, “culture”.
