Good afternoon MK, I just got finished eating a slice of this cake after making it earlier this morning and it was very delicious. Every cake of yours that I have tried so far were very phenomenal and they were all very moist. This was my first time making ermine frosting as years ago I was skeptical of it because to me a boiled milk with flour was very off putting. So fast forward years later I decided to give it a try because it was one of your recipes and I realized after making several homemade vanilla puddings that it was essentially the same thing bit with lots of butter and I loved it. The light chocolatey moist and tender cake, paired with the light and fluffy not too sweet frosting was the cherry on top. I am so glad I decided to give this frosting a chance thank you for sharing the recipe 😘😘😘😘

Okay everyone seems to be having good reviews about the recipe. But this is probably one of the very few fails I have with baking... First of all my red color doesn't pop at all (not MK's fault obviously), second i don't seem to have enough batter for 2 tins.. Then the batter itself looked very weird, like thick but very airy. Also I needed almost 50 minutes to get the center baked. I guess European ingredients are different?
