Just some FYI, the half-life of tritium is about 12 years. That means half of the radioactive atoms will decay naturally in that amount of time & it will need to be replaced after such due to loss of brightness, just like tritium night sights on guns.

I have a rose gold calmigo and the action is just as strong... I was so impressed that I had to hunt this one down. Love this tactical configuration, I technically can't carry it... But it won't stop me from messing with it around the house 😉
Being a fan of black gear, I personally think that that variant is the coolest. The tritium tube is dope as well. No worries on 154CM on my part, it's more than I need. Love the distressed look on that old Protech BTW. Does Ricky own it now?
PVK Vegas Has the operator in stock now there was 50 l think it's in the 30s now so couple more days and they will be gone! As much as l didn't need another knife l picked one up and also grabbed a deep carry clip from MXG Watching your vid again for the 3rd time till l get mine in hand 😂👊
Make a new season called battle of the blades comparing blades within the same spec it could be endless and awesome I would love to see something like that where u choose your blade out of each category according to your opinion
The strider was probably the only knife ive been disappointed in getting. Hinderer, CRK, ZT, Benchmade, Spyderco, CKF ; ive been happy with. The Strider is lacking heavily.
I disagree completely. Ive handled almost all of Kershaw's Launch line and dozens of Protechs. Protech has superior overall quality by a long shot. The Kershaw autos are fine for the money, and arguably just as capable, but they're just not in the same league when you compare the little details in the finished product.
@@metal_complex The Protech Strider Automatic just felt cheap compared to anything hinderer or the Hinderer ZT colabs. The Non-Automatic knives I've seen on the strider look much more solid. Idk I bought it from bladehq so i felt it was legit. I wasn't impressed and sent it back. The Damascus one you featured.
If I hit the button and release my thumb before the blade locks up, it gets stuck in the lock position and the button is very hard to depress. Have you experienced this? Also if you were to start closing it but let the blade go before it’s closed and and it flys open the same thing happens.
That's because of how the lock mechanism works. You're letting the blade slam into the lock button while it's in the closed position. Just keep the button pressed for that extra nano second til the blade is full open to release the button lock so it can seat into the locked position properly. 👌
Can some one tell me where i can buy a Strider SNG or SNG CC. Every knife web site is sold out. Willing to also trade but don’t know where to trade. I don’t trust EBay
If autos were legal in CA above 2 inches blade length, I would have purchased this knife 100%. Luckily I was able to get in on an sng drop to make up for the fact that I can’t purchase this knife!

Kershaw had just as well built (side opening ) if not better then this knife. Microtech knives are beautiful though

They almost always sell out immediately. Monkey edge periodically has them. Best bet is to get on a mailing list 👍

I wish Protech made a manual version. I bet it has better build quality than the one from Strider.
