I have one of these knives and I also have a MXG gear deep carry clip on it. Mick Strider designed the pocket clip that is on there strictly for retention, not pulling out quickly. It is a double edged sword though, it has messed up a pair of my jeans in the last due to its great level of retention. The deep carry clip is much softer on the pocket👍🏻.
That's bad ass man! I have had several SNGs and many Protech variations over my life. But never both combined! That tritium insert is a slick addition. Excellent selection for your last spot in the box.

Would really like to see a review as I am almost sure I will buy one.. After watching all the shot show vids I had an itch so relatively inexpensive I purchased the CRKT M16-14SFG and it's sweet. Handles my work duties, tonto tip with half serrated blade. Probably not an EDC for everyone, but in my side or rear pocket it's comfortable and performs great thus far. Apologies for the tangent, but would really be interested in Spyderco's new 2020 offering with the tonto tip. Please review!! Thanks T.
I wish they would just get rid of all auto laws.. there is nothing more dangerous about an automatic knife compared to any other type of sharp object! Btw just ordered myself a tr-5, and a rose gold calmigo! 😍
I can’t get past the fact that their charging these prices for 154cm steel. I almost picked one up the other day it was 62/100 knife going for $400 with 154cm steel. I’ll choose microtech everyday
I find the problem with automatic knives in general is they are 2 handed closers. I thought I saw u close it with one hand? Is it easy to close one handed?
Not a fan of the button. What's the point of having it glow in the dark? Surely you're going to know where the button is by feel. To each their own, of course.
Unessisarily thick, looks cheap, love the tritium (big fan) but hate the steel choice along with the fact that Mick Strider is a big phony lier. Good choice on PM2, I've carried one for years!!!
The pocket clip is junk.Anything that takes two hands to put in the pocket is a waste of time.I was very disappointed with such a quality knife and then cheese us with the clip. Back to my Medfords and Microtechs.

You can definitely close it with one hand, granted not as easy as a manual knife but its doable without issue.
