I absolutely love this light bar and it is worth every single penny! With over 32,000 lumens of light being thrown down range, it makes seeing through the dead of night really easy - but it also has its drawbacks too that I discuss in the video. Since I tow a trailer a lot and this time of year its dark until about 8am and starts getting dark again around 4pm I figured being able to see at night is likely good. The further I can see the more time I have to stop which is critical for hauling a heavy trailer. Below are a couple of links to the light bar and the new tow hooks:

I really like Baja Designs lights, have used them on my last 3 trucks and on my quads and rzr. I use thier S1and S2 for backup lights on my new Bronco Wildtrak and F-150 just installed the Ford Squadron Pro/Dual S2 Sport Steel Bumper Fog Pocket Light Kit on tthe Bronco and it is DAYLIGHT!!!
Isn’t it funny how once you get your first set of BD lights, it’s all down hill from there and you just start to collect them all? lol
How do you like the S2’s? Been considering getting some for backup lights on my 4500 and to put on the toy hauler. Would you say S1 or S2’s?
You have the exact bar I want to get, size and all. I also had the idea of swapping out the center faceplate for a spot one so I'm interested to see how that looks when you get that on there and how it compares to the full combo. I hope you'll make another driving video when you complete the swap. It'll be interesting to compare them side by side and see what the difference is as far as pattern and throw.
The spot vs the driving combo center had wasn’t as much of a change as I thought because the light bar is already so dang bright. Definitely helped and worth the $25 tho!
I bought a straight version of it too and did a comparison between those two where I’m going to use the drone overhead to help see the difference. I’m open to input on what kind of things you’d want to see - so definitely let me know and I’ll try and do my best to make it happen!
Seriously tho - I’d love some input to know what you’d like to see for a video! :)
@@thejourneyretold So just to be clear, swapping the center piece to a spot helped but wasn't much of a difference? Did you notice it shoot out slightly farther in the middle or was it basically impercptible?
I'm gonna get the straight version of the bar, in 30" driving/combo. Your video has basically pushed me to go for it for thank you! I'll still consider swapping out the center piece with the spot, but I want to see how the bar looks first before I do that. But if it's imperceptable then I probably won't do it.
@@thejourneyretold Can you tell me how difficult it was to make it to where the bar came on with the high beams? I want to do that too. I like the option that it can be turned off so I can just have normal high beams, but when I swtich it on, the bar will come on with high beams. That's amazing.
As for ideas for a video, I think the best option I can think of now is just to make more night driving videos in different locations (heavy forest, flat open field, near light shots, and distance shots, etc) so we can see exactly how the light looks in those different settings. Also, start out with the light off and then switch it on so we can see the difference. Otherwise, is it possivle to get some higher quality/clearer video?

@@Dreaklock if you’re going to get the straight one, I would probably skip the spot lense - I have a straight one that is all driving combo, and I swapped the center out to a spot and I couldn’t tell a difference between the center spot vs combo. You’re going to LOVE the light bar man - it’s AWESOME!
I understand doing Modifications to our Trucks, but all these Trucks already come with LED lighting that are bright enough to land Aircraft.
They didn’t shine out far enough though for when towing at night - definitely do now though! Just have to be respectful of other drivers and not be that bone head blinding people!
