I'm grateful this mod exists. This is a feature that should have been in OG Mario Kart Wii in the first place, especially since Mario Kart DS (which came before) had it.
I wish Dry Bowser always had the mega mushroom activated, or that DK and Diddy activated a star when they reached the last lap, but overrall these battles are fire!
Dry Bowser is just nasty, using fireballs that act as attacks AND shield from your shells, and even using stars to catch up immediately after being left behind.
Back in the Nintendo Wi-fi days i didn't even ask somebody to connect the internet to my Wii, oh dear, i wish i could play in these tournaments, in the Tournament Museum, but i need to have a Wii and the Mario Kart Wii game, and i need your help in order to get the Tournament Museum in the Wii
Yes, indeed it has. The first time it had bosses was in Mario Kart DS's mission mode. Then Mario kart Wii's online tournaments, a series of weekly, online exclusive missions, introduced the bosses shown in this video. Although the mode is no longer available due to the lack of online play on the Wii now, this mod, tournament museum, restores every single mission from that online mode, bosses included.

the fact that wiggler has a trick animation is so cool

Nintendo should definitely bring back Galaxy Colosseum. It has good music, nice visuals and uses an extremely underappreciated Galaxy enemy.

Dry Bowser boss battle on N64 Bowser’s Castle has to be greatest thing to ever be in a Mario Kart game.

It did in 2008. These are all recreations (I think?) of those bosses as they are all unavailable now.
On the Mario Kart Channel on the Wii Menu Screen, there was events such as Boss Battles
