Those bosses officially made the game the scariest thing in my childhood legit the witch was scary asf like the whole mood just seemed dark and secluded

@Vayne_Solidor Same here. I have no idea what people are talking about when the said piranha plant was hard. I honestly don't see how. I mean, I did play the game for the first time when I was a teenager. I think getting to the bosses in this game is objectively harder than beating them. Probably by design. Don't want people to beat 3 npcs on a game that was know for causing strain in sibling relationships, only to deal with a boss that is way too hard to beat.

Bro, I aboslutley HATED The Pirahna Plant Boss Battle! It felt like no matter how hard I mashed, I'd always get sucked in.
I was the same too when I was only 6-7 years old, but I successfully completed the bosses in Mario Party DS in November 2010.
I remember asking my father for help to overcome the bossfight, when I then saw that he managed not to get sucked into the Piranha plant in the last phase I was amazed to the point of thinking that he was a super hero or something like that
1st boss : *hell* *itself*
2nd boss: Simon says
3rd boss: memory match
4th boss: first person shooter
Final boss: normal(?) boss fight
The Dry Bones one is more on the ordering pattern, not memory match

Just like everyone else, the piranha plant was the bane of my existence, but here's the twist, english is not my first language, so when I was a kid i literally didn't knew what was the game about, what was the story or anything and i still loved it, i figured everything out with trial and error, experimenting with everything and intuition untill i found the solution with that god forsaken boss
For the Dry Bones fight, I always liked to wait until he was in the air to hit him with the magic things because then he would get attacked mid-air and then fall down to the ground lol

Lots of us played this game as kids. I think I was anywhere from 6-8 years old. The button-mashing speed that the first boss required took absolutely everything that I had at that age.

@@Arthur-nd6dnI'm pretty sure most of us knew what we were supposed to do. ☠️ It was mostly the constant clicking part that got us. You had to have a fast clicking finger to finish it with ease, but since most of us were young kids, we weren't strong enough to do that.

By the way, the board that Dry Bones was on, Donkey Kong’s Stone Statue, was my favorite board as a kid. I always played it as Luigi, and went up against Mario, Peach, and Yoshi in that order.

Dry Bones wasn’t that easy. I did better at fighting Bowser and Kamek since their attacks are very predictable. I actually find dry bones harder than piranha plant to, but that’s only because I’ve gotten very great at button mashing.

When I first played this game, Piranha plant was the hardest one of all, and he’s THE FIRST BOSS. Others were kind of a joke, except for bowser. Hammer bro, dry bones and Kamek were kind of a joke.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who struggled with the piranha plant fight
when i was a kid i couldn't do the piranha plant fight because i couldn't mash hard enough, so whenever i would replay the story mode i had to convince my dad to do it for me. i really liked that beginning stage so i would reset a lot. handing my DS over to him probably around 50 times just for him to beat the boss is probably one of my fondest memories of him
1st boss: *quite difficult*
2nd boss: quite easy
3rd boss: It's easy and fun
4th boss: A little difficult but quite fun
final boss: Difficult, especially the last form
