8oz.of sliced cremini mushrooms
1 sliced large onion
1 1/2 Tablespoon of olive oil
1/3 cup of red wine ( your favorite wine)
salt and pepper to taste

I looked at a few similar videos and this one is by far the best. Amazing color, and you can tell you've got the flavor. The wine to get the good stuff off the pan is the key!

Can I just use water with a little bit of cornstarch instead of wine
The wine not only deglazes the pan but also adds a robust flavor you won’t get with a cornstarch solution.

Why would you suggest to use a good drinking red wine when you are using cooking wine which is crap.

Over rice
It always worries me when someone is using cooking wine.... if you don't drink it.... why put it in your food? Use real wine
