Using over the counter cold packs (that are available almost everywhere) and potassium chloride, potassium nitrate can be synthesized. And then purified by recrystallization. To test it,flash powder is made with it and lit on fire.

Stump remover is already potassium nitrate. You're not synthesizing it.

A lot of waste that way you should use potassium carbonate this will precipetate calcium as insoluble and realese ammonia gas that you can buble it in cold water.

@@iballlp I don't want to make ammonium nitrate based explosives.I want to make KNO3/NaHCO3/S/Al explosive,and I want to know few things
Will no.8 cap detonate it?Will kclo4/al flash powder work as blasting cap if filled in rifle cartrige?
Will this mix work if KNO3 is not fully dried?
