As a kid, we could build rockets/fireworks for fun and not get in trouble. Now, just watch a video about it and you go on a watchlist. Fantastic world we live in.
It is far worse than that. US Democrats put you on a watch list if you flew into DC the day before the January 6th peacful protest for your mom's birthday and never went to the Capitol or posted anything pro Trump online. To this day, they still follow you evertime you travel . A vote for Democrats is a vote for hate.
Its not the explosion of this rocket is the threat, its shrapnel. Its no different from IED like a strong firecracker wrapped with shrapnels. Which illegal and only terrorist use that.
It seems like most adults of this world, doesn't have the maturity to handle these substances peacefully without killing each other. Knowledge and hate spreads faster in this modern world than wisdom.
After Israel used the Iron dume system to detect possible hitting missles , hamas increased the density of the attack on singular spot to guarantee a hit , thus proving that sometimes quantity beats quality
Not only this they use it as cover for theirs operations And to make these expensive iron dome reocket lost for nothing It is all lost money and resources

@@arthritis1097 Yeah, I'm not redesigning their rockets for them, I just don't fancy a 10 year holiday in Gitmo. I don't know how sensitive the radars are. But a smaller radar cross section will make the rockets harder to hit. Suffice to say, there are alternate materials they could use. As well as radar cloaking tech. Sourcing stuff is their issue, so it really depends what is available. They sure as hell won't be using graphite cloth.
Only thing is that Americans build so many rockets for understanding rocket science and explore space, not to terrorize. The Hamas could easily make their dumb rockets even more deadly by using cheap $1 microcontrollers. Seems like people in Gaza didn’t get that level of education in microcontroller programming, which is good.
I'm an Arab.I remember (as a kid) watching/hearing about hamas operations with knives and rocks. Now they have a semi army (sometimes called the army of orphans) and homemade rockets, drones, torpedoes and tandem RPGs. Also this video only shows the primitive versions of the Al Qassam rockets (made around 2001). Now they have thousands of a lot more advanced & bigger versions. Basically, Qassam rocket wasn't mean for destroying Israel, but bankrupting Israel, why ? because 1 Iron Dome missile cost $50,000 - 80,000 depending on variant (not counting Iron Dome System like radar, mobile base, communication tower, generator, etc.) Qassam rocket cost only $800 each, and it can be as low as $300 if they can find free water pipes and scrap metal from junkyard.
Let palestinian suffer as long those barbaric sand people build their rocket. Funny thing is, well establish media also too blind not to cover hamas doing to palestinian
That's completely true. Iron Dome only works on rockets with lagging technology with speeds below Mach 2. That's why no western or European country is interested except Singapore, whose position is similar to Israel, not big and in a narrow position.
After battling with Blender for the entire evening just to throw in the towel after trying and failing to make bulkheads in a cylindrical vessel, I cannot believe the amount of patience and skills you guys have when making all these videos. Sugar rockets. Made these way back in the 1990s. They are good for cheap hobby rockets when size E engines are not enough. The biggest one used a carpet tube as the tube with some laser cut aluminum fins to stabilize it. The propellant was made of a mixture of ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate, sugar, sulfur, latex resin, iron oxide and aluminum powder. It should be launched shortly after filling because the mixture will absorb water. Also, they need to have a hollow core in order to get enough propellant burn to actually launch, otherwise you end up with a big smokebomb. The ignition system was dragon eggs fireworks pellets with extra black powder and aluminum dust mixed in. The big one was launched at Bong recreation area of all places 😅 anyway melt casting propellant bricks water main pipe sized sounds extremely dangerous as the mixture ignites not much higher than the melting temperature 😮
I used to use those E engines (and smaller) to launch model rockets back in the late 80s/early 90s. We often made out own rocket. Once we used plastic pluming pipe to turn the rocket into a bazooka. Fun high school days. But I never knew of this sugar/fertilizer mix, and we wouldn't done that too.
these was their rockets back in 2001-2003 (Qassam-1,-2,-3 ..), now they have missiles and it's locally made, it has gps and its much more advanced even some of the rockets can maneuver the Israeli defenses such as J-80, M-75 AYYASH-250 .. etc
That's how some kids spent time in the USSR when there was no Internet. My childhood was full of fun explosions and rocket launches and this was not concidered something unusual. I had read somewhere that they actually figured out how to make a crude, guidance system for them. Sometimes using a ESP32 or similar microcontroller. I really wish I saved the link because, it was interesting what they had figured out so far to make them more accurate.
These rockets don't have the power to lift much of a payload. The "warhead" is usually about 5 to 15 pounds and creates a large pothole if it lands on a road.

i can say with confidence now that this was not the rocket that hit the hospital, that one had a bigger impact than any hamas rockets, the sound was different too sounded more like a US manufactured one not one that was made inhouse
You know I feel like you're on to something because I was actually thinking about that too if the Rockets are made out of that material and are much smaller seeing the impact on the hospital what is a much larger explosion but then again there are multiple factors that could imply that the hospital of course add flammable materials for medical reasons, that could have helped ignite the blast But I also take into consideration that as the video States the Rockets that guys are launches are notoriously bad because they do have misfires or friendly fire accidents most of the time🤔
Watch the real time video's the rocket was going towards isreal, the casing failed, fell to the ground and exploded in the parking lot. How can you tell if hamas or fake news is lying, "their mouth is moving."
That would be an MK-84 with almost 1000 lb of explosive charge. A time detonator that insure many civilian casualties and a small crater to make it look like the khamas sugar rocket 🚀
Riight. I live in Springfield, MO. After the Oke City bombing, the farm supply store has to know you own a farm before they sell you nitrate fertilizer. BTW, Potassium nitrate (saltpetre) is rarely used except in specialty fertilizers. Ammonium nitrate is usually what you get at the MFA.
You can get ammonium nitrate from cold packs and there are videos easily found that show you how to turn it into potassium nitrate if you need it. Even if that's hard to get you can get hold of calcium nitrate or magnesium nitrate. All you need is a source of the nitro anion and a reactive alkali metal, the further down the periodic table the better. That's why potassium is the best option; rubidium and caesium would be even better except that they're extremely rare (therefore expensive and hard to get), whereas potassium is cheap and easily obtainable.
KNo2 (Potassium Nitrate) is sold as stump remover.... Boil it down, recrystallize, for pure KNo2.... I make homemade grenades, fireworks, and ammunition from my own homemade gunpowder. (You can also create it by pissing on a stack of hey for a year or so, then boiling the hey) Instead of using sugar, pickup rose flower food or similar.... Mostly Sulfur powder; mix with coal or hardwood charcoal powder, and alluminum powder; soak in denatured alcohol and let air dry.... yes. I just posted how to make REAL gunpowder from garden store items. Allahu Ackbar!

This accounts for perhaps many of the war rockets fired from Gaza but certainly not all. As we saw clearly on CNN video and interacted with in real time, quite a few of the missiles were far more sophisticated smart missiles with no set trajectory at all but sharp, evasive angles verging on chaos yet quite escaping the Iron Dome missile defense system.

One thing you did not illustrate well is when the rocket hits, the impact and the explosion are all directed forward. Because the rocket impacted at an angle the explosion is not 360 degrees like a mortar. More like 90 degrees on front of the rocket. Good explanation on how palestinian resistance build their rockets, but I just want to point out that these rockets have nothing to do with the bombing of the hospital in gaza for abvious reasons. -the explosif power of these rockets is very week compared to bombed droped by israili aircrafts that each one of them weights about 1000kg most of this weight is explosifs. The amount of destruction shown after the hosptal explosion shows that it is impossible to do so with resistance rockets. -there is a video that shows a bomb hitting the hospital with the same precision, sound and explosion that an american mk84 bomb do, and the video shows no fuel burning out of the projectile which will be clearly visible if it was a miss shot rocket.

Rocketeers, or rocket Hobbits have been making these type of hobby rockets for years, although there made for fun or as science projects not weapons here in America. And there are strict guidlines to follow when making them I'm a licensed certified High Power Rocket Hobbits. I'm retired from the hobby now, but I used to be fully involved for many year's in many types of fuel through an American Club, who had strick rules for this hobby and I had to under go training and past tests to gain my certification. We did not use Suger rockets as there called, they were completely off limits because they are extremely dangerous. If you manufacture many of them for a long time the reliability of your propellant gets better. However, there are to my variables that can go wrong and one of the worst is called a " Kato " that's simply means the rocket exploded as it launches from the pad to a few hundred feet up this can and does happen a lot with Suger rockets. I have absolutely no problem believing, with the video that one of these rockets malfunctioned and fell back to earth way before reaching apogee. One property that is unpredictable with sugar as a fuel is once the sugar ,fuel, is mixed and cools the sugar molecules continue to blend with other ingredients. Anotherwords, the longer the block of fuel sits around the stronger the fuel gets. If the rocket nozzle or core is not adjusted for this you will most likely get a Kato, premature explosion...If this happens it does not always mean the explosives go off, they might survive a rocket Kato, witch means the warhead comes falling back down on the people who launched it or a short distance from them. Please do your research before flying off the handle on what happened, don't belive everything your told especially minutes after something happens. I can almost guarantee that the news went out about this rocket explosion before the launchers even knew what caused the malfunction. The videos to me says it all. I've seen this happening so many times. Fortunately our rockets where just hobby rocks and we lost the rocket and recovery system. Note: Our hobby rockets were completely legal and we followed all local and state laws before making these rockets. Do not follow the easy to build sugar rockets you find on video or you risk grave injuries.

You should have paid more attention in English grammar classes instead . Here we have a redneck making rockets that cant event spell hobbies but he is somehow " certified high power rocket hobbit " LMFAO !
I would assume this should work for model rocketry as well? I remember seeing the big rocket kits a a child, but those engines were super expensive. Fun to see them go, saw one kit with a film camera in it, but it needed one of those large engines.
It does. You can build several typs, with for example mixing sugar with potassium nitrate or cooking it, then you get the so called "Rocket candy" wich you can fill when warm in a tube and let it cool down so it gets solid. But it is really something for grown ups. Cooking rocket fuel may get dangerous. :) I bougth potassium nitrate myself to play a bit around with model rockets, but then figured out it is completly illegal in my country.

I believe that if your country was occupied and there was no army to protect you, you would do anything to defend your country, and this is what has been happening since 1948. Freedom is for the original people who own the land.
Absolutely wrong, no one owned the land, there where Jews and Arabs living there for centuries. After the British left the UN drew up borders, the West bank and Gaza went to the Arabs, the rest to Israel, the arabs rejected the proposal and Immediately declared war on Israel. Many atrocities were committed on both sides. So no, it's not "Palestinian land" also define Palestinian, Jews, Arabs, Christians, etc were all considered Palestinian when they lived there, palestine is a region, not a state. Also Im going to assume you think Hamas are freedom fighters; they are the exact opposite. Hamas has been caught stealing aid from Gaza's citizens, Hamas uses there schools, hospitals, and banks to store weapons, not only is this dangerous for obvious reasons but it also makes them targets for air strikes. Hamas has used its international aid that was supposed to help the starving people of gaza but instead went into building a 500 km tunnel network that hamas does not even let civilians hide in to shelter from air strikes. If you oppose hamas they will throw you in prison where they torture and beat you. Hamas uses Gazans as human shields. And a plethora of other crimes that would take to long to list. And btw these are their crimes against their own people, we haven't even gotten into their crimes against innocent Israeli civilians.
Another thing also, Hamas is not "defending" their people, if they are how could you explain them stealing aid from their own citizens, using aid money to build terror tunnels, and using Gazan's as human shields?

A lot of people are accepting the Israeli hypothesis not because its reasonable but because they refuse to accept the possibility that indeed it was Israel who on purpose launched a misile into the parking lot of the hospital. Let's be realistic, the possibility of the event of the rocket failure getting into the hospital is highly unlikely, I would say nearly impossible. I will explain: First of all it's important to note that graphic information provided by Israel has very little value or not value at all: videos from far away, at night, images of low resolution, satelite images... Those are not only very easy to manipulate or fully create, but almost impossible to know if the images are real or not. Maybe some years ago it was possible to detect an image that had been manipulated if it was analyzed at a pixel-level by some algorith, but today I'm sure that those photoshoping detection algorithms can be fooled. Therefore the images provided by IDF will show what IDF wants. PERIOD. So now, let's analyze the version that Israel says that happened, because in order for this to happen several events have to occur simultaneously: - The location from where the rockets are launched has to be behind the hospital more or less in the direction of the rocket launch. Why launching from that location? It is possible, but it's not the only possible location and in order for this event occur as Israel said it has to be necesarily from there. If someone tells "but IDF spokesperson said that the rocket was launched from that place" I would say: obviously Israel says that, and their "proof" is an image of a city at complete darkness from which projectiles are launch, and then they add an arrow pointing at a location that indicates that the hospital is there, and the launch site is there. There are no visible elements that allow to identify the exact location, and even if they were all this can be manipulated. So at the end this piece of information is IDF telling us "trust me, it is from here" - The rocket has to fail at mid flight for whatever reason. Ok this can happen since these rockets are not so reliable. But then the rocket turns back and goes into the hostpital. These rockets have a range of 16km, so the area where this rockets can land is quite big: - Let's say that the rocket in an event of failure will travel a distance of 10km or less, and that the area where this rocket can land is a circular segment of radius 10 kilometers and an angle of 15°. This would make an area of 0,82 km². - Now compare it to the area that occupies the hospital, let's say the hospital is 200m by 200m (I have not checked the exact size of the hospital but the order of magnitude is reasonable. Also it doesn't matter if is the building or the building plus the parking lot). Then the area of the hospital is 0,04 km. - With this calculation we can get that the probability of the rocket landing in the hospital is about 1%. This is a simple calculation, but gives us an order of magnitude. Because we are not talking about a rocket failing and landing somewhere in the Gaza strip, we are not talking about a rocket landing at some random building in Gaza. We are talking about at rocket landing into the biggest hospital in Gaza. The same hospital that the IDF demanded to evacuate several times. It's not a random location, it's a target. - The rocket has not only to turn arround at mid flight and land at the hospital, but it also has to fail in a particular manner. A rocket could fail in many ways: not burning, deviating, not exploding.. But in order for this hypothetical failed rocket to produce that damage the solid fuel propellant has to explode when the rocket lands. But this solid fuel propellant is designed to burn during some time to propel the rocket, it is not designed to explode all at once. So what are the chances of the rocket failing in this particular manner. So in order for the Israeli version to be true it would be needed a rocket fired from certain area, failing at mid flight, landing directly at the main hospital in Gaza and exploding in a manner that does not correspond to the functioning design of the rocket. Do you know how is called this concatenation of unlikelly events? Suspension of disbelief. That is what happens in action movies so the movie can happen. The spectator has to stop analyzing the chances of that happening because if not he does not enjoy the movie. This is the same, in order to keep supporting Israel someone has to suspend his disbelief. Because we have not only the occurrences that I mentioned above, the guys from IDF also provided some additional "proofs": The ridiculous conversation between two Hamas members that in just one minute provide all the details that support the Israeli thesis 🤦 So not only we have a very unlikelly rocket failure, but the IDF picked that particular conversation where they provide all the details. Again this conversation can be staged, we are not dumb. The fact that IDF adds that conversation to their proof just show a desesperate atempt to sell their version, that's a lot of effort for a suposedly accidental failure of an enemy rocket. Additionally that conversation, if it was true raises a lot of questions: If they spy all the conversations so intensivelly that they find that conversation in a few hours.. How come the Israeli intelligence services where unable to detect the preparations for the attack of october 7, that was prepared during a whole year. 🤔 For me this shows that not only was an Israeli misile, but the attack was deliberate. Another argument that I have read to try to divert the blame from Israel is "if it was Israel there would be a big crater" OMG, this is so easy to refute: Israel is a very modern and sophisticated army that has access to many kinds of weapons, the more sophisticated ones and the more simpler ones, misiles that explode and penetrate or misiled with an incendiary explosion. Is someone accepts the "big crater argument" is like telling Israel that when they attack gatherings of people they have just to use misiles that don't leave a crater, then they can say "It wasn't us, it was another Hamas rocket failure" 🤦 thanks for reading
Unlike Hamas, Israel does not give a damn about its people. Israel wants its citizens to live, but Hamas did not want to. That's why Israel spends so much money on defense against the Palestinians.

Detonation is completely different from deflagration. Potassium chlorate in combination with sulfur is an very unstable and sensitive combination. While in your case is used to detonate. For example Ammonium nitrate based explosives using an primary explosive with high velocity that detonate the secondary. Like ammonal, anfo, annm, etc. It can also detonate with impact like your situation also does. But it needs an very fast impact, for example fire weapon rounds. Potassium chlorate can make very powerful rocket fuel called whistle mix. Ill make it myself alot. But for their situation R-candy rocket fuel is much more user friendly to make and uses ingredients they have around. Fertilizer is potassium nitrate. Potassium chlorate i make myself trough electrolysis of potassium chloride. But compared by black powder or sugar rocket fuels whistle engines are expert mode
Isn't it ammonia nitrate in most cases? Because this is mostly used as a fertlizer, as it contains not only nitrate but also ammonia as nitrogen source, which is a double plus for use as a fertilizer.

Ballistic means unguided. So a missile isn’t always a “guided missile” it can also be a “ballistic missile”. Also….a “rocket” is more of a solid fuel engine type thing. For instance…you can have a rocket powered missile…
What about the Saturn 5 rocket? The F1 engines were liquid engines. Rocket simply means you are ejecting mass out at a very high velocity. Not that the fuel is solid. Pressuring gasses out a nozzle. Ballistic refers to the trajectory, not that it's unguided. You can still have a guided ballistic missile. It simply means you can't correct it a whole lot. There are also guided missile and cruise missiles. Then to add another vehicle to all of this is the drone. I had a reservist working for me that can pilot a drone that is the size of a bus. It can take off, fly some crazy number of miles out, blow something to smitherens as Yosemite Sam would say, then return and land.
They are so incompetent 😂
For long term storage they melted asphalt with fertilizer.
So by sugar rocket, you're saying that this is just Sugar + KNO3 ?
Stump Remover is pure KN03. melt with sugar you have thermite. don't try this at home kids!
I used to use those E engines (and smaller) to launch model rockets back in the late 80s/early 90s. We often made out own rocket. Once we used plastic pluming pipe to turn the rocket into a bazooka. Fun high school days. But I never knew of this sugar/fertilizer mix, and we wouldn't done that too.

i can say with confidence now that this was not the rocket that hit the hospital, that one had a bigger impact than any hamas rockets, the sound was different too sounded more like a US manufactured one not one that was made inhouse
You know I feel like you're on to something because I was actually thinking about that too if the Rockets are made out of that material and are much smaller seeing the impact on the hospital what is a much larger explosion but then again there are multiple factors that could imply that the hospital of course add flammable materials for medical reasons, that could have helped ignite the blast
But I also take into consideration that as the video States the Rockets that guys are launches are notoriously bad because they do have misfires or friendly fire accidents most of the time🤔

(You can also create it by pissing on a stack of hey for a year or so, then boiling the hey)

-the explosif power of these rockets is very week compared to bombed droped by israili aircrafts that each one of them weights about 1000kg most of this weight is explosifs. The amount of destruction shown after the hosptal explosion shows that it is impossible to do so with resistance rockets.

Rocketeers, or rocket Hobbits have been making these type of hobby rockets for years, although there made for fun or as science projects not weapons here in America. And there are strict guidlines to follow when making them
I'm a licensed certified High Power Rocket Hobbits.

I would assume this should work for model rocketry as well? I remember seeing the big rocket kits a a child, but those engines were super expensive. Fun to see them go, saw one kit with a film camera in it, but it needed one of those large engines.
I recall there being really cheap disposable engines for model rockets when i was a kid those ones with cameras though are normally multistage rockets

Let me correct something, someone did own the land before Israel and Palestine where established. But it was not Arabs or Jews, it was the british.
Another thing also, Hamas is not "defending" their people, if they are how could you explain them stealing aid from their own citizens, using aid money to build terror tunnels, and using Gazan's as human shields?

@@mels_sukses7810 always do your research before believing in the narrative
A lot of people are accepting the Israeli hypothesis not because its reasonable but because they refuse to accept the possibility that indeed it was Israel who on purpose launched a misile into the parking lot of the hospital. Let's be realistic, the possibility of the event of the rocket failure getting into the hospital is highly unlikely, I would say nearly impossible. I will explain:
First of all it's important to note that graphic information provided by Israel has very little value or not value at all: videos from far away, at night, images of low resolution, satelite images...
PERIOD.
So now, let's analyze the version that Israel says that happened, because in order for this to happen several events have to occur simultaneously:
- The location from where the rockets are launched has to be behind the hospital more or less in the direction of the rocket launch. So at the end this piece of information is IDF telling us "trust me, it is from here"
- The rocket has to fail at mid flight for whatever reason. Ok this can happen since these rockets are not so reliable. But then the rocket turns back and goes into the hostpital. These rockets have a range of 16km, so the area where this rockets can land is quite big:
- Let's say that the rocket in an event of failure will travel a distance of 10km or less, and that the area where this rocket can land is a circular segment of radius 10 kilometers and an angle of 15°.
Because we have not only the occurrences that I mentioned above, the guys from IDF also provided some additional "proofs": The ridiculous conversation between two Hamas members that in just one minute provide all the details that support the Israeli thesis 🤦
So not only we have a very unlikelly rocket failure, but the IDF picked that particular conversation where they provide all the details.
For me this shows that not only was an Israeli misile, but the attack was deliberate.
Another argument that I have read to try to divert the blame from Israel is "if it was Israel there would be a big crater"
OMG, this is so easy to refute: Israel is a very modern and sophisticated army that has access to many kinds of weapons, the more sophisticated ones and the more simpler ones, misiles that explode and penetrate or misiled with an incendiary explosion. Is someone accepts the "big crater argument" is like telling Israel that when they attack gatherings of people they have just to use misiles that don't leave a crater, then they can say "It wasn't us, it was another Hamas rocket failure"
🤦
thanks for reading
This is amazing, great work!
How does the solid fuel inside the rocket gets oxygen needed for it to react?
The solid mixture of fuel is already contain oxygen, which had been mention in the video that the fuel consist of sugar and oxidizer
Potassium nitrate (KNO3) is the oxidising agent in this reaction

Thanks for telling about the role of sugar hope this diwali my mixture will be potassium chlorate + sulphur + sugar = 🎉
Lol
replace sugar with charcoal and you're making gunpowder with that mixture buddy
@@FontaineLovers thanks I will try to add charcoal in mixture
Gunpowder doesn't use chlorate. Chlorate and sulfur mixtures are extremely dangerous and unstable. @@FontaineLovers
So sad wish we could stop hating each , and love each other like God wants us to GOD BLESS US ALL 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Isn't it ammonia nitrate in most cases? Because this is mostly used as a fertlizer, as it contains not only nitrate but also ammonia as nitrogen source, which is a double plus for use as a fertilizer.
at least in the US amonium nitrate is heavily controlled and they have to verify you're a real farmer
I would assume the same in Israel
Its amazing how simple it is.

All from the comfort of a basement office with coffee, scones, and so on. A short time later it's ready to go again. Then he'd return on Monday and do civilian IT work.
@@robertthomas5906 correct. I said “for instance”….in that instance I was talking about the afore mentioned solid fuel but yes….”rocket” is a rapid increase of pressure created by some type of fuel

Since Hamas mainly uses a warhead 5-15 lbs, Bibi is saying this flattened out a concrete Hospital....smh
That whole idea of destroying a hospital was a lie. There is video of the scene out now. No damage to the hospital other than broken windows. Whatever hit, hit in the parking lot, leaving a small crater, and burning 15-20 cars. If it had been an Israeli bomb, the crater would be much larger, and would have done substantial damage to the buildings.
That's how propaganda works. It doesn't matter how stupid it is. If 100 people out of 10 000 believed it - it worked. 100 more videos like this and half of that 10 000 will believe the narative. UA-cam only has to recomend it to a lot of people, so it's not 10 000, but a 100 000.
