I met Lee once, after he played at our local theatre about 25 years ago, the old saying is ‘never meet your idols’ but I can honestly say that Lee was the most nicest and humble man I have ever met, he was polite and funny, we chatted for a few minutes and he even apologised for having garlic breath, he is an absolute legend and a good all round human. Love him.
I met him at a book signing when he released his autobiography shortly after the Road Runner tour concluded. Finally reached the front after about an hour or so of queuing and he was still so enthusiastic and incredibly grateful to us for waiting, and his humility was just astounding! The man is truly a gem
Lee Evans is sadly retired. I was lucky enough to watch one of his last shows. He is absolutely amazing and one of the best comedians ever. Please watch some more of his content, you will not be disappointed at all. Absolute legend this guy!
I love watching Lee Evans, brilliant comedian. I saw him live in Belfast in 2014 just before he retired. My ribs were aching by the time he finished, I laughed so much 🤣🤣
I love Lee Evans most especially when he imitates his wife and makes her out to be a real hard nut! He manages to turn everyday scenarios such as grocery shopping, nights out with her etc into the most hilarious routines and they're all well worth watching. 👍🤣👍
Boom and away we go ✌️ You say you don't know if you picked a good one.. Anything with Lee is amazing.. Such great energy.. Some say he's the UK version of Jim Carrey.. I'd agree.. Edited... You also said it 😂 His energy level is like this all the way through and you'll notice because he sweats so much.. And he's been in a few movies, including one with Jackie Chan..
Lee was the first comedian I ever went to see live & I will never forget crying with laughter from the first second he opened his mouth to when he walked off stage at the end.. what a man & what a brilliant comedian. In my top 3 uk comics ever. Love him
When you see him live ,everyone around you is in bits laughing from the moment he walks on stage till the very end ,, when you leave the show we all have puffed up pink eyes from crying laughing . Hes one of the very best.
Lee Evans is a comedy genius. He is very energetic and animated in all of his stand-up. You seriously need to watch more of him. I can't pick something specific, all of his stand up is hilarious
Lee Evans has taken his act from another great actor and comedian, Norman Wisdom. However, you have to be as funny and as fit as buggery to pull it off. I used to watch Norman Wisdom films as a kid before I even knew he was a comedian as well. The milkman film with him in it was brilliant, and I can still remember clips after thirty to forty years after watching it. I might even watch it again later if I can find it on UA-cam or somewhere!
The best comedy show I have ever been too.....I was hurting so much coming out of the theatre through laughing so hard and keeping up with this guy's energy. You HAVE to get into him.....without doubt Lee is one of the UK's best ever comics..so glad you reacted to him and even better that you loved him too.
Lee Evans is our national treasure! Was a sad day when he retired. But every single comedy show he ever done , whether it be a small town show or a DVD tour , he was absolutely hilarious. He is animated every show he does and you definitely need to watch his material. Think he has 9 or 10 DVD yours you can get on Amazon prime . On another note, Love your videos mate, keep them coming. Love from the UK
Lee Evens is also an Actor. Something About Mary, as Tucker and Mouse Hunt with Nathan Lane. Also, if you can find it in the US? Lee Evens version of Bohemian Rhapsody is absolute perfection.
That clip was quite restrained for Lee Evans. He is the most animated, high energy comic you will ever see. He sweats buckets full during a performance. Brilliant.
I saw this live. I thought I was going to die laughing. He is hilarious, the stuff he says about his wife collecting pebbles or the car breaking down.....he's hilarious.
Fabulous Lee Evans. I'm sure you will piss your pants watching his routines. So energetic. Brilliant facial expressions. Never seen any comic sweat that much. Really nice guy apparently.
He is absolutely hilarious. My favourite comedian ever. Try his police horses, farting on a plane, flying economy and london olmpics ones. You will hurt from laughing I warn you.
I read Lee’s Autobiography and he’s favourite old time comedian was a British guy called Norman wisdom that was also a great comic actor. If you watch Norman Wisdom in “Mr Grimsdale” you will see how Lee based his movements on him as he admits in his book… Norman Wisdom was a very funny guy with a fantastic singing voice. Check out some more Lee and I’d recommend Norman too. 👍🏻
His XL Tour is the best, absolute gold. His humour is always super energetic, I have his dvds and they are so great to keep watching over an over, I always laugh so hard.
Lee Evens is a really creative comedian. He write a lot of jokes for other comedians. He was in the film Mouse Hunt costarring with Nathan Lane, a really funny family favourite. He cant help the fact that he sweats profusely under the lights so ways has a towel to hand and makes a joke about it. His jokes about his home life are hysterical.
Lee Evans is Always animated, hense why he sweats buckets… he’s so funny because it’s physical comedy aswell. Legend! There so much Lee Evans you could react too which would have you in stitches
That's his natural extreme nervous energy channeled into a very physical performance. He's constantly terrified but he's mastered converting that nervousness into melodrama.
Lee Evans is my all time favourite comedian. Yes, he's always that energetic, even in interviews (he has a great one on Johnathan Ross). Lee Evans Bohemian Rhapsody is a classic. He's also in some great movies, like Mouse Trap and The Fifth Element. :)
Mate trust me Lee Evans will be your new number 1!!! Wife car breakdown clip is brilliant! Anything to do with wife or family is so funny! Get on them king!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I remember once, my mum told me that she was round my brother's house with a few other people, and they were all arguing and moaning at each other. Someone put one of Lee Evans's videos on, and within minutes everyone was creasing up laughing. lee Evan's is truly one of the greatest British comedians ever.
Saw Lee Evans on the Monster tour, best show I've ever been too, on his tours he makes sure that everyone pays the same price for tickets, glad you've found him! Looking forward to seeing a lot more reactions of him 😄
I loved Lee Evans. Most days I wish he'd come out of retirement and do another gig. He's one of the greats that can sell out the O2 arena tickets in a couple of minutes after announcing the date.
i watched 3 of his shows in the UK, the roadrunner tour, live at the 02 and the XL tour ALL were pure amazing, every show was sold out and so funny you walked out with a stitch in your stomach from laughing
I was at one on of the warm up gigs he did for the main tour that this clip is taken from and when he got to this bit, I reminded me of an incident of bad diarrhoea I had coming back from a day out with a friend that I had. I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t breath and was doubled up laughs silently.
Merry Christmas you lovely people, thanks for the laughs along the way and thanks for sharing your crap with us 😂 The poem brought me to tears, of laughter of course and I hope to see you bright and breezy In the New Year because let's face it life would be shit without you. Love ya! All, greetings from Cheshire ❤😘
He is the funniest comedian ever! He is always very animated, very clever and his material is memorable. He has loads of material, hopefully you will find plenty to watch.
Hi all, new to channel…. I am from United Kingdom 🇬🇧 Lee Evan’s is the best. Met him a few times now & lost count how many shows I’ve seen. He has done movies 🎥 Mouse trap, Firth Element (Bruce Willis ) Medallion with Jackie Chan, Something about Mary.. Amazing energy & always puts 110% in to everything. Sad when he retired.. Will always be a fan! Enjoy this man’s amazing talent all! 🤪🤣
You absolutely have to do 'Lee's most relatable jokes'. Its a compilation of his hilarious jokes from different tours. You will literally cry laughing I promise you😂
Lee evens is one of favourite comedians. His actions and jokes are the funniest I've ever seen, just like past legends like Frank Spencer or benny Hill. He talks about real life and it relates to so many people.
He’s so physically active that he sweats buckets. He used to have suits specially made for his appearances that were tougher for the sweat to soak into. He’s my fav comedian, glad u liked him
I have many stand up comedians I adore, ones that sit on the highest peaks. Lee Evans to me is just that bit higher than the rest. Seen him twice live and it was something else. He is now retired. He is the most animated of all. He broke all records in the UK too. Great reaction 👍
Lee Evans ex-boxer and drummer, the most animated comedian on earth, you could fill a small swimming pool with his sweat during and post gig. A true fountain of mirth
Lee Evans is amazing and his energy on stage is second to none, the world needs him to come out of retirement and make us all laugh again, watch his Bohemian Rhapsody sketch.
When he did his stand up, he was always running around and being very animated with his comedy. He was always in a suit which due to his act, caused him to sweat so much his suits would only last one or stage appearances before they were ruined.
Yo - King Boomer: Fantastic reaction my man! Lee really is spectacular. Just as an FYI, he co-starred alongside Jackie Chan in the movie "The Medallion" - some of the out-takes and bloopers from that movie had me laughing so hard I started getting stomach cramps, much like some of your reactions. Well done brother - keep up the great work! Cheers all the way from Sydney, Australia.
Lee Evans is the best, seen him live a couple times at the O2. Guaranteed to come out with an achy jaw from laughing so much. He gives everything to his shows, at half time he has to go change his shirt and suit because he gets so animated he sweats so much. Hope you watch a longer stand up of his.
I'm 30 years old in December and grown up with his comedy thanks to my dad. I'm sad hes retired as I never got to see him live. Something tells me he has written a lot of material and wont be able to resist a comeback
Hello from Wales UK Lee Evans has been in a couple of big movies..."Fifth Element" with Bruce Wills and "Something about Mary" with Cameron Diaz... Multi talented, animated and exceptionally funny...He said he was retiring to spend time with his family as they had supported him when he was on tour and away from home for weeks and months at a time...Great man.... Thank you for posting your videos...they are a hoot to watch... Take care and regards from Wales....
He's the most physical stand-up comedian I've ever seen, and the only one who's had me crying unstoppably with laughter!
Have you watched Norman wisdom?
@@paulashe61 Yeah I'd imagine he took alot of influence from him.
@@paulashe61 Not that I remember! But I'll look for some of his material.

Unlike that w⚓️ robert Lyndsey who was just a bully to me at age 8 when I went to see him at stage door. Huge w⚓️
Aw I'm happy but jealous you got to meet him. He's a legend
Love it

At last! 🤪 Police sirens, holiday and car breakdown...Lee is priceless.
Lee Evans also appeared in the movie - 5th Element as an officer on the luxury space liner. His part was relatively short, but memorable !
Also 'Something about Mary' where he plays a professor by day and pizza delivery guy by night.
He stared in Mouse Hunt.
Just randomly pick any bit that he's done and it's the same energy and quality. He's a naturally funny man, he can't fail.
