  • Took a day off wanting to fish both tides at the St. Augustine jetties. Hooked a drag screamer at the jetties, then got into the Reds in the creek. I also discovered my PFD works perfectly...lol MAN OVERBOARD!!!

    Awesome video Sorry you fell in but your commentary was great and I did let out some chuckles. Very good day of fishing as well!

    Great video! Fun to watch the scrambling back in the boat lol! FYI, new limit for redfish is 1 slot, no longer 2. Just reminding you so the man doesn't get yah...

      Thanks, yeah I had someone else point that out. I missed that update from FWC. I am not sure what is more embarrassing, falling in the water like a goof or not knowing the dang redfish limits had changed and harvesting a fish illegally although by accident. It has been two redfish North of Volusia County (Pelicer Creek) for as long as I can remember. That is no excuse though. I have already called and "turned my self in" to FWC. I am going to put out a video about that interaction soon.
      Thanks again and Tight Lines Buddy

    I wanted to add that for the price of live shrimp these days, I would have done the exact same thing!

      Was not aware there was a change in our area. When did that happen. I am usually on top of that sort if thing.

      Just looked it up on fish rules and you are correct. Guess I will wait on the citation from FWC. I always knew south of Pelicer Creek the limit has been one. Can keep up with all the changing regulations. I will try and resist a rant on all the regulations that crap on the recreational angler. It is not worth putting my boat in the water for one fish.

      It’s impossible to keep up with all the FWC and SAMFC laws. 🤔 Fish Rulz is not always accurate

    Hope the only thing you hurt was your pride! It will happen or come close to happen if you fish enough. A perfect video for why you should always wear a life vest! At least you had some good action to go along with the swim.

    Can I access the jetties by foot?

    • @NorthFloridaSaltwaterFishing
      @NorthFloridaSaltwaterFishing  Рік тому

      Yes, the North Jetties can be accessed from the Vilano Beach ramp and the South Jetties can be accessed through Anastasia State Park. I am not sure how the storms have affected this. I hope that helps.
      Tight lines 🤙 🎣
