I have a Ukrainian connection and after many years finally met my distant relatives in Lviv. So I have fallen in love with Ukraine and this will be my biggest motivation to learn your language.❤️
You"re right about learning a foreign language, it's necessary to love. By the way, after I watched a few videos in your UA-cam channel, I learned that you visited my country, Turkey, especially Istanbul. I'm glad to hear this because in same way, I want to be able to speak your language and visit (even live) there. Thanks and greetings from Turkey.
Hello from the UK - we stand with Ukraine !! 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇦
USA TOO
Thanks from Ukraine:)
Same but form Norway 🇳🇴 🤝🇺🇦
@@DenTemno 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇦
I salute you. 🫡
I'm from UK too STAND strong with ukraine
Your right about the love. I have Ukrainian wife of 15 years, so would love to learn Ukrainian langauge, will sign up for your lessons. Your English is great. Слава Україні!
I love that what helped her fall in love with the English language was Linkin Park ❤️❤️ that was my absolute favourite band when I was a teen as well. Their songs have some really powerful words. Rest easy Chester Bennington ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Right now I’m in the process of learning Ukrainian on Duolingo. Your right about falling in love with something. I have been watching interviews on the news and I’m reading a book about the history of Ukraine.
I'm an Afrikaans native speaker. I fell in love with your culture, your healthy way of cooking, out of the garden vegies and fruit and especially your tenacity during these difficult times. I'm not able to afford lessons, etc. but watching your clips on You tube helped me a lot. As I mentioned before, the Ukrainian language shares a lot of Afrikaans vocabulary with the letters scrambled in a way that I recognize the word, and in many instances the exact same Afrikaans stem with an added sound in Ukrainian. eg Billion in Afrikaans = miljard. Chemist in Afrikaans = apteek, library in Afrikaans = biblioteek, Gospel in Afrikaans = Evangelie, etc. Thank you Inna.
wow,i didn't knew our languages are kinda simillar! thank you for having interest in our culture and language, and good luck!!
I want to find an Afrikaans speaker near me so bad it’s unreal. I love Afrikaans 😭
I am German, but my grandfather was a Ukrainian from Lviv. I am happy I found this useful channel. Looking forward to learning the language of my ancestors.
Random and tad bit odd question, but is your grandmother German?
@@HelpMeGet100kSubsWithNoVideos. My grandmother was Austrian. They lived in Lviv when it was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
@@peterzmyj9023 Ah. My great grandfather was a Ukrainian priest who fled the USSR where he met my great grandmother on a farm in Germany.
This is how I have been teaching myself Ukrainian! It works well, she is right. This works as well as changing your phone language to Ukrainian, downloading the Ukrainian Keyboard, listening to podcasts and being around Ukrainian people.
Thank you for sharing your story! I first visited Ukraine twenty years ago. At that time my daughter and I began learning some Russian. At that time it was useful. Learning Ukrainian seemed very intimidating but recently my daughter encouraged me to try by using Duolingo to learn. I knew if I ever went to Ukraine again I would need to know it. You are right. I am in love with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people and culture. This motivates me toward my goal. Again, thank you for your story! I also love music and enjoy listening to Ukrainian music!! Дуакую!! I am following your channel. 💙🇺🇦💛
Currently learning Ukrainian language, loving it so far!
Sounds incredible!
Привіт !! Я Софія. Thank you so much, I am a Ukrainian girl who lives in the UK and forgot how to speak my language as i only was able to speak English! Im trying to learn ukrainian again and im starting to remember it and your tips really helped me! Thank you my ukrainian friend.
This is the best language learning advice I've ever heard
Very cool that your gateway to English was rock music! I'm currently obsessed with Ukrainian history, culture, language, etc. and it is keeping my motivation to learn very high, so I think you are spot on with this advice. I hope that you are able to return to Kherson someday (if that is what you eventually wish to do). дякую і слава Україні
I have 3 Ukrainian roommates who are like brothers to me, I would love to learn more of their culture and what makes them, them 💙💛
I found out I have ukrainian ancestors. Sadly they are not alive anymore but I feel so connected to the country and language now. ❤️
I have never heard anyone say that they are in love with today's modern music.
And I found a reason to fall in love the first moment I saw -you- your channel.
🤣
It was music for me. That's how I learned English! (Many years ago).
I love how you put it...to fall in love... I have always been fascinated with Ukraine and its culture and traditions and since this past year I have been supporting, donating and purchasing Ukrainian pieces of art, pysanky, petrykivka painted items as a way to help individuals. I have also fallen in love with Antytila although I do not understand a word, but the music and Taras' voice is incredible! Therefore I want to learn to understand the music I love! 💙💛💙💛
Thank you for this video and your account that allows me to learn Ukrainian 😀
Hello from Texas! Thank you for posting this video.
Excellent insight to learning anything. Follow your passion, joy, what gives you energy in life 😊🌠
I want to learn Ukrainian language since falling in love with the little singer, Amelia Anisovych, who sang Let it Go in the Ukrainian bomb shelter. She has stolen my heart and I listen to her song videos almost every day. I plan on buying a Ukrainian language book as I do best with this way of learning. Hopefully, learning Ukrainian won’t be too difficult for me as I am 67 and my brain already very crowded! 😉 Thank you for your wonderful videos. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦 I pray 🙏🏻 for Ukraine and its people every day.
It's true,I learned English with music, and I like ukranian music so much ,I listening to it every day and it helps 🇧🇪🇺🇦
Thanks Inna 👌

Hi Inna, I just started listening to your channel and I hoping to learn some Ukrainian. My dad’s Ukraine 🇺🇦 but my mums from England so we never learnt the language. It was hard understanding the grandparents but I managed.
My grandfather was fighting with Poland in the Germany war. Growing up my dad did cooked some traditional food.

I'm literally Ukrainian, I don't know why I'm watching this video 😆It's a very helpful video though, I really liked it ❤
I’m here to learn how to speak ukraine as a new girl came to our school because of the terrible war against Russia 😔 She is Friends with us it’s just hard to talk sometimes
My love of Rammstein definitely helped me learn German, and my love for the spirit of the Ukrainian people is what drives me now.
i wanted to learn some slavic languages since im already fluet in polish, i wasnted to learn russian at first but lately ive been getting some questionable looks when i tell people i was learning it so ukrainian is the best choice
Fair enough 😂
After watching this years Eurovision, Ukraine had such an amazing performance, I felt so moved by the song. From this I started listening to Jerry Heil, I fell in love with her music. its only been 2 weeks but im trying my best to learn ukrainian to understand her lyrics, and ig feel more connected to a new part of the world i previously never thought about.
I advise these bands: SadSvit, Скрябін, SadNovelist, i'm fall in love with this bands fr!!
@@kar7ins i will check them out! thanks
That is so awesome that you learned about America and English from Lincoln Park! I am from Michigan and I also really liked them! I agree with what you said about falling in love! I have fallen in love with Ukrainian culture!
Hello, i am from Romania, and i am starting to learn Ukrainian because of the band Okean Elzy with the song obiymy. And what is also nice is the fact that i heard the song in Turkey, the airbnb landlord showed it to me. And the more i discover about Ukraine or Ukrainian, the more i like!
Also the song Друг ч. 2 from the same band, is very nice.
I like your videos very much, they are nice and helpful, keep up the good work 😍
By the way great life advice too
That made me chuckle so early on. I have fallen in love with a lovely lady from Ukraine.
im trying to learn ukrainian to help out a new student in my music class because he speaks no english and has to use google translate for everything and knows little to no english so im learing it now also its just a really beautiful language
Also, I found your video by looking up how to speak Ukrainian. I'm honored by the people in Ukraine fighting for their country and it really got me wondering how Ukrainian is spoke. I'm a rock/metal guitarists and love me some shred, And love some classic rock.. Do you have any suggestions for any Ukrainian rock bands that I can check out?? I'm past Duolingo's "legendary" level yesterday. I don't know if Duolingo is having some malfunction, but, on my screen, it's over. There is nothing past level 33. So, now I'm looking around to find other sources to continue studying Ukrainian. By the way, you are right about the love. It's why I'm learning Ukrainian. Ukrainians are so brave, lovers of art, animal lovers, everything I admire and have a heart for ❤️
That's how I feel about the ukrainian band Go_A. Im learning Ukrainian because of them!
I will check this band out!
There is a Ukrainian student who just started in my class and she doesn't speak a lot of English (but she is good at it) so I'm trying to learn a bit of Ukrainian so I can maybe help her.
I’m new here I just got hired 4 months ago at an all Ukrainian job so I would love to learn as much as I can.
Im doing the same with ukrainian music. It definitely helps.
I love learning
🇺🇸 The true patriots stand with 🇺🇦
thank you
Wow that’s cool. “Hybrid Theory” was their best work, in my opinion. I have been picking up some Ukrainian here and there, just some basic phrases.
Hi Inna, I could not possibly agree more. My love is of my Ukrainian heritage, unlike your students that were superficially for a person. My heritage will never go away. If you love what you do, you will never have to work a day of your life. I believe that you do not work, because it shows that you love what you do. Once again, Дуже дякую
I'm very much infatuated with Ukraine. I never knew the beauty of your people and culture. I fantasize visiting with your great country. Yes ma'am. Slava Ukraini.
Linkin Park is awesome. Thank you for all of your helpful videos. ❤️
❤
Truth, it is "tone deaf" and "failure to read the room" and sadly reveals one does not see we need freedom and growth 🇺🇦🌻from control
Interesting how you started to learn English through music,I can see how that was inspirational for you,who do you find more interesting to teach a blank student who knows no Ukrainian or someone who knows a little,I feel the language has probably changed throughout the years due to history but I guess the English language has changed too.
I find interesting to teach everybody at any level who is motivated to learn Ukrainian 💙💛
@@SpeakUkrainian Thats a good answer :)
My grandparents were Ukrainian, but I never learned the language, but it just so happens. I am now engaged to a Ukrainian, so I would like to learn the language so that I can impress her parents when we are married, and I can make a speech in Ukrainian, I think that would be very touching.
I'm not sure exactly what you could teach me
But your quite articulated in your messages
I have great affection towards welfare of children and I want to go Ukeraine and do something useful
So need know simple phrases
If you could help I be grateful
I work at a elementary school in the USA, and we have a new preschool student (4 years old) from Ukraine and doesn't understand English. How can we help him?
You are so right! I want to learn Ukrainian and probably Russian too because of your president. ^^; I want to watch Servant if the People and Kvartal 95. :) Also I just love languages in general and the war made me discover a beautiful and brave country! Stay strong and I think of Ukraine everyday!

You might like the song "Carry on Wayward Son" by Kansas.
fell for a Ukrainian girl at work, learning some of the language to try and impress her lol
I love Rammstein, same reason. Wow.
Hi Hello! 🌍🔥❤️⚡, I wanted to extend my thanks for this video and appreciate your experience, I am American Spirit ( 101 ) ,but spirit as we all know is not defined by our roots on earth but our relationship with life and this is in love, this being said, what speaks to the hearts of people of all nations is expressed as True and Just, I believe that to support Ukraines Independence and freedom, meaning the people, it would come from the bottom of my heart but the only barrier is the language, seeing that love knows no boundaries. This is my Love. And how touching it was to relate my love with your love experience! Let's me know that it is possible! Namaste
I am learning by Reading but the Alphabet is giving me problems with remembering the sounds. I create Poems and try to reading them in the languages I know... its a process and I hope I am able to learn in a natural way. I dont use books or any material I just take mental notes.
Slava Ukraini! Heroiam Slava!
I came here 'cause I tried to listen different english accents and i fell in love. hahahaha
I have soon to be ukrainian family so I’ve been in love with ukrainian for a bit
I fell in Love with Olya 🇺🇦❤🌹😎
I'm a Floridian and I have studied German.
Hello teacher,
Yeah! You have impeccable taste, Led Zeppelin. Good story on how you were amazed by Linkin Park!

Hello from canada I am Ukrainian and i stand with ukraine
I am Ukrainian citizen:) but lost the way to speak Ukrainian but the weird thing is that I can understand and read some Ukrainian but I have much trouble speaking Ukrainian but I feel like if I learn to speak it’ll be very easy for me Слава Україні
I don't have a Ukrainian girlfriend. I have been following Ukraine closely since 2008 and I just have a strong belief that Ukraine is at the heart of the future of human history. I believe there is extraordinary potential in the Ukrainian economy and its potential influence in making the world a better place. I am a little afraid of a girlfriend because I think I need to work on my life goals without distraction. On its own, a girlfriend sounds great but some people live more for happiness and others more for purpose. I live for purpose. My greatest fear is having died without done anything sufficiently meaningful in my life. You can say, however, that I have fallen very much in love with Ukraine.
Kinda sad nobody in my family is alive and can speak Ukrainian anymore. My great-grandmother was the last one, my grandmother can barely speak it.
A couple coworkers speak it so might as well try to learn a bit!
I work at a famous hotel in the mountains and I'm sure to meet more Ukrainians here in Canada!
Does anybody know about any reliable Ukrainian - English online dictionary ?? thanks!
BTW it is very cute the way you pronounce "motivated" ... however the letter 'v' in the word 'motivated' is pronounced the same as the letter 'v' in very. Perhaps divide it into four separate parts, for example 'mote - ti - vate - ted' ... So practice saying 'veh' with very and 'vay' with vated. Hope that helps ☺
Salva Ukraini!
I am here to learn Ukrainian in support for Ukraine to Putins horrible way of treating Ukrainians. Also because I need to communicate with my Ukrainian friend lol
you're gorgeous, thank you!
@@sonyagrunya ❤️✨
Would love to watch your reaction to heavy metal videos.
Are there bands from Ukraine that could be considered as equivalents to Linkin Park and Led Zepplin? Meaning that they have similar music and their songs have similar themes?
Hi I'm a Ukrainian teenager but I was born in Italy. My parents are Ukrainian but I'm still loosing my language and I almost can't speak it at all. I can't read the letters or at least it's very hard for me. I don't know whay to do, I can understand everything but answering amd talking is so difficult. what can I do to improve my Ukrainian?
